Claire watched as Hikalyn threw the Quaffle through a hoop. Magnifying her voice she projected clearly, “ Slytherin score, 10 – nil to Slytherin!”

The moment the quaffle soared into the air, Artemis shot up on her broom, eyes already searching for the tiny golden ball. She rose high up, her hair blowing around her in the wind. Quickly tying it up, the girl swept her dark eyes across the stadium constantly, looking for the tell-tale shimmer of light, meanwhile keeping watch of the other team's seeker as well.

Camber caught the signal and her mind raced with ideas of what to pull. Remembering an old trick from her last school, she pulled away quickly, moving fast paced in an opposite direction.

Hikalyn saw the girl racing away, but didn't go chasing after her. She could tell by the girl's hands on her broom that she didn't have the Quaffle. Where was it?
Her eyes searched the sky, looking for the other Huffle players, or a telltale streak of red or gold.

Gritting her teeth at the Slytherin goal, Silver cursed under her breath.
A vision of glittering green eyes and grinning fangs flashed in her mind before she suddenly hurtled into a speedy dive, catching the mid-arc Quaffle and swanning back up into the air with it, her brow furrowed in absolute concentration. Clutching it close to her chest, she even growled low to herself as she shot through the air, dodging first one Slytherin then another, and then even a fellow Hufflepuff – clearly it was going to be up to her to win this game… and she would. She would.

Camber blinked, surprised as Silver so aggressivly grabbed the quaffle. She was happy though, she turned her broomstick around, and followed Silver from above, not needing to take it from her, but preparing herself incase a Slytherin tried.

Her amethyst eyes focused on the Huffle girl who was dodging around the pitch, between players and Bludgers. Her arms were hugged to her chest, but they didn't quite cover the deep red that was the Quaffle encased carefully in her arms.
Hikalyn put on a burst of speed and dived after her, appearing just a few feet in front of her, cutting her off. She went forward in a short burst, snatching the ball from the girl's hands, and once again leaned forward and pulled her arms in tight, allowing for more speed as she willed her Firebolt towards the other end of the pitch.

Wyl winced as Kalyn scored. His eyes darted around madly for the Snitch, but there was still no sign.
"Chins up girls," he roared as he flew past them.

Seeing her que, Camber flew off following Hikalyn. Hikalyn had blocked Silver off, and Camber pulled the same move. She grabbed the quaffle and threw it back to Silver.

Grabbing the Quaffle from Camber, Silver zoomed towards the Slytherin goalposts.
Seeing two heavy-framed Slytherins guarding it, grins on their faces, Silver's heart almost sank... but a fiery disposition took over her and she projected the Quaffle forward with all the might in her frail fifteen-year-old body - and it went right through the middle hoop!
"Yes!" Silver punched the air triumphantly, and winked at her teammates with relief, but Wyl was looking in the other direction, presumably for the Snitch.

A blur of yellow heralded the presence of the other Huffle girl, but a mite bit too late. The Quaffle was snatched from her hands, and Kalyn cursed mentally as she watched it arch up in the air.
She wasted no time flying after it, leaning forward to grasp the scarlet object, but it slipped from her fingers. Once again cussing silently as the ball landed safely in the arms of the other Hufflepuff girl, Hikalyn fell to shadowing the Chaser in possession of the Quaffle, waiting for the chance to snatch it away.

“10 – 10! Both teams are now even!” Claire shouted as she zoomed out of the way of a bludger that was knocked her way.

Camber grinned, glad that she could help the team, glad that her plan had worked. She positioned herself, waiting to get the quaffle for another goal.

Too slow. Once again, she had been too slow.
Her eyes glittered with anger and frustration, but it was emotion that was directed inward. The same way as she channeled her adrenalin, she took the feelings and turned them into energy and resolve.
A slight smile curved her lips upward as she launched herself towards the falling Quaffle. Seizing it securely in her hands, she dipped, turned and bolted back towards the Huffle goalposts.

Feeling herself fill up with a kind of possession, Silver gave a frustrated growl as she went in to try and reclaim the stolen Quaffle. She saw Camber in the distance after their first successful attempt at a goal, and tried to communicate that her diversionary tactics weren’t working – that the Hufflepuffs were going to have to stop playing nice and win any way they could.
Suddenly, she saw the Quaffle being passed just below where she was hovering – diving, she secured it once more for the Hufflepuff team and zoomed in once again towards the looming goalposts.
