Suddenly, a slow roar began... erupting into a loud one that shook and filled the stands.
Surprised, Silver turned - what had she missed?
Her mouth falling wide open, she saw Wyl clutching the Golden Snitch in his hand, his look of disbelief matching almost everybody's in the stadium as he held it up high.
"Wyl! You... you... oh my God!"
And Silver promptly burst into tears. Burying her silver head in Wyl's shoulder, she sobbed heartily as she hugged him fiercely, not quite believing what had just happened... what she had just seen... what they had just won... again! Unless the Slytherins somehow managed to get a double barrel-load of points tomorrow, which was highly unlikely... the Cup was theirs! Theirs!

Claire slid off her broom onto the firm grassy ground. The game was long and she was feeling tired from how busy she had been with the end of the academic year approaching. One more game left! she thought cheerily, as she wanted them over with, btu also as she was looking forward to see if the Hufflepuffs could be overtaken in tomorrows match.

"We lost..." she breathed, voice choked with emotion. The world collapsed in on her as realisation hit home. "We've finished, and we lost." What was there left? Laura only had Quidditch, and she was a failure.
And she was off. It was lucky that she had only been ten odd meters from the ground, but she had fainted, falling clean off her SuperNova and hitting the ground with a dull thud, her limbs twisted at strange angles.
Darkness poisoned her vision as her mind tried to fight off the despair. Only Quidditch, it's only Quidditch... But she was gone, lost in a dead faint.

"Yes, Wyl, Silver you have done it," Lars yelled as he saw Wyl catch the snitch. He knew he did nothing to help, but flew in cirlces like an idiot. The game did went to fast for him, and he knew he couldn't play again.
Lars, through all of the excitement, forgot that they won the Quidditch Cup. Or he believed so, but that would mean he was one, of three Puffs' in the game. That still did not made him feel any better about himself.
Lars was just not good at sports. There were too many rules to forget, there are too many people. It just gets confusing to him. "Good job," he said to Silver and Wyl again. "Good game everyone," he yelled fibbing. Lars did not do a good game.
OOC: Sorry for all the crap posts, this was my first time in a quidditch match, and I am a slow typer.

Wyl wrapped his arms around Silver, still clutching the hunk of gold in his fist. He spotted Makira over his shoulder and gave her an apologetic smile.
Wyl looked around for Lars and beckoned him over, wanting him to join in the celebrations too. The cloud of canary yellow floated to the ground in a clump, laughing and sobbing together with glee.
"Bring it on!" Wyl roared to the stadium as the Puff crowd swarmed on to the Pitch, simply because they could.

OOC: Sorry then! ^_^
The stadium roared again, but it wasn't good this time. Hufflepuff had not only scored, the Snitch had been caught. Her first game on the House team, and they had lost. Aidana somehow felt that she could've done much better. It felt bad letting the team down, but she could do nothing now.
Determined not be a bad sport, Aidana flew slowly towards the other team. As she neared them, she flew to the ground and got off her broom. She walked up to them, her hand extended.
" Congradulations on winning! Good game!" she yelled, over the din.

OOC: You did great Lars. I needed somebody else here - Claire prolly only picked me to score cos I'm a dab hand at this by now. If I'd been by myself I wouldn't have done half as well.
BIC: Through watery eyes, Silver searched the stands for his, but could not find them. Fighting a mild stab of disappointment, out of the corner of her eye she saw a Gryffindor player collapse to the ground.
"Oh my God," she said, horror instead of joy quickly being found in her voice. "Help... somebody help her!"
Silver descended from her place in the sky and discarded her broom, running to Laura's side.

ooc: Poor Laura and stuff
-grins-
bic: And that was that. They lost...
The blonde had been cheering like anything when Makira spotted the Snitch, and it was a race to the little tiny glittering ball... a race which the Lions lost. Leaning back in her chair, tears began to form. She had sincerely hoped that they would have won it... she had kept her fingers crossed and whispered silent messages of support all the way through...
But seeing Laura suddenly collapse on the ground had been the last expected thing. "Crikey," Hayz said, biting her lip as she removed the breaks and wheeled over to Laura. "C'mon, Captain. Wake up," she tried, using her wand to jet a stream of cold water down onto her face. After all, what else could she do?
Blowing a loud whistle, Hayzie nodded her head in her direction, indicating for a team talk before everyone disappeared.

Suddenly Aidana saw one of the Hufflepuff players rush to someone's aid. Someone who was clad in red and gold. Panic gripped Aidana as she saw the girl's brown hair. That could only be one person, Laura. Forgetting the team in front of her, she ran to her Captain's aid and kneeled beside her. Putting her arms under Laura's head, she slowly lifted her up.
Then suddenly a jet of water sprayed from nowhere, and Aidana became soaking wet. Looking up, she saw Hayzie wheel herself onto the Pitch. Hopefully, the water would wake Laura up.
" Laura? Can you hear me?"

Though only dimly aware of those surrounding her, she battled to open her lids. Stop being so damn stupid, she chided herself. Weakness...she was displaying an unforgivable show of weakness, something that she simply couldn't tolerate in herself. Black thoughts raced through her mind like a mad carousel, but she forced them, and the nausea back, slowly returning to consciousness.
"I'm fine, guys...I'm sorry," she muttered as she dragged her lead-like eyelids open once more, but although she could now see she was unable to meet anyone's eyes. "I'm aaah-" she broke off with a cry of pain as she glared down, horrified at her limp arm, twisted at a very unnatural angle.
"What the," she choked, pain and anger sending tears springing into her dark green eyes.

"Don't be sorry, Lau," Hayzie soothed, glad her friend was at least awake. But at the sight of her friend's arm, the blonde's eyebrows raised. A fall like the one she had had would have done that to her, of course.
"Can someone help her lie down?" Hayzie requested, "I'll go find a nurse and get her to help."

Ariadne looked at Laura. Her arm looked bent unnaturally. She felt like this was her fault and headed off towards the showers. She felt like she had let her team mates down, and Ari couldn't look her teammates in the eye.
She had been the newest edition to the team, and she was the one that kep letting them score.

Before Hayzie could even move, the brunette nurse by the name of Carrie was running upto the gathered group, her bag of tricks in one hand, and her wand in the other. After seeing the Gryffindor Captain fall from her broom, Carrie figured that she may just be needed, and set off towards the scene.
"Okay, out of the way, guys," the brown-haired nurse told them, getting a little closer to Laura. Instantly she could see what was wrong. "Broken arm? Piece of cake," she smiled, reaching for her wand. "You won't feel a thing," Carrie promised, saying the incantation and waving her wand, the arm was instantly fixed, hopefully allowing Laura full movement again.
"Better?"

Aidana softly smiled as Laura began to speak. A slow feeling of guiltiness over took her as she saw the look on her Captain's face. It seemed as if she wouldn't look anyone in the eye. Aidana winced as she cried out in pain, then looked at her limp arm. That didn't look to good, but nothing a little magic couldn't fix. Lifting Laura up a little more, she helped the girl into a sitting position to get the pressure off her arm.
The Prefect still looked a little sad, and Aidana felt guilty again. She pulled the girl into a friendly embrace, trying to comfort her as best she could.
" You were brilliant Laura! Don't let anyone tell you different Captain! That goal you scored was the best moment of the game," she said with a reassuring smile. Looking up she saw Carrie, the nurse, approach and a second later the arm was fixed.
" No matter what happened Laura, we're always with you."
