Right after Lars threw the ball, he was smacked in the head with another ball. He nearly fell off, and was in great pain. Looking to his left, he saw a girl named Sylph threw it at her. Lars met her once before, but nothing like this. "God that hurts," he said to himself, as he looked at the ball he threw. Lars hoped that he scored, but he saw another girl caught it. Not on his team.

Ari smiled at the interception. Slowly she started to gain more hope in herself. She knew her team mates could do this, but this was her first game and she was still nervous. She was getting over it though as adrenaline filled her body. She felt like she could stop anyone that came her way.

Finally without possession of the Quaffle, Silver furrowed her brows - sweat was beginning to form in droplets on her forehead, and she was beginning to feel slightly uncomfortable, though she was not sure why. She could still feel green eyes pricking into her from the stands below, but that was not enough... there was something else...
Trying to ignore the feeling that something was ominously wrong, she flew lazily to the left. Suddenly, the Quaffle was in her arms! How? What?
She had no time to think - she threw it up in the air, and span to whack it with the tail of her broom as it came down - to her delight, it bounced off the dumbstruck Keeper and right into one of the hoops!
"WOOOOO yeah! Go Puffs!" she yelled, doing a loop the loop for dramatic effect.

Another goal scored. ”HUFFLEPUFF SCORE! IT IS NOW 20 - 20!”

Adhara had cursed violently as the bludger pelted towards her, hit by her own player no less! It was only due to her training that she instinctually rolled her broom, and felt the ball pass over her fingertips, burning them. The sensation was actually similar to that of rugburn, but she didn't stop to ponder that thought at the moment.
The second she knew that the iron bludger had safely passed by, she turned herself back upright and sped back down the pitch in pursuit of the player with the quaffle. She was surprised to find that it was her own teammate who now flew in front of her and dropped the long-sought after orb into her arms. Grinning her thanks, Addie gripped it tightly and flew back down the pitch.
The manaical grin didn't fade as she raced headlong into the 'Puff scoring area, and faked a throw at the left hoop before watching the ball leave her grip and sail smoothly through the center ring.

Wyl punched the air with delight as Silver scored. His glasses pressed hard into the bridge of his nose as he zoomed around the pitch next to the stands, getting the Puffs to roar with delight.
"NICE WORK SILVER!" Wyl bellowed from the other side of the stadium and continued looking for the Snitch.

Ari groaned. She was letting her team down! She needed to stop some of these. She knew she could do it. She knew that she needed to do it. Now she only needed to prove it. She glared at the hufflepuff that scored.

"Come on Gryffindor," she breathed, swooping around to help her fellow Chaser, the crimson shade of the quaffel sending adrenalin coursing through her veins, her heart pounding uncomfortably loud in her throat. Warm summer wind whipped through her scarlet robes, as she gripped her SuperNova with white-knuckled fingers.
The Captain opened her mouth to begin barking orders, but found her throat had closed up. She visibly gathered her nerves and shot forwards, yelling advice and encouragement to her team mates, the screaming crowd completely barred from her mind.
"Let's get some more for Gryffindor!" she bellowed to Adhara as she sped to her aid.

Lars got the ball, and sped to the other side. He did not want to give them any chance of catching him. Lars sailed through the other players, and saw his chance to shine. He faked, a throw to the right, and threw it slightly in the air. Lars caught and threw it towards the left ring.

Job done, that bludger had worked, if a little after time. A dazed Hufflepuff chaser was no bad thing. It wasn't as if Sylph was a dirty player, not by any means, but every little helped, right?
Trying not to smile too much, lest her captain think she wasn't serious or something, Sylph soared off to find another bludger to hit. Being a beater wasn't so bad.
Then it happened. Hufflepuff had drawn level again. Not knowing how it had happened, what with Gryffindor being in possession and all, Sylph frowned, a more determined look on her features, and she grinned her characteristic devil-may-care grin. No more nice guy.
But then yet another dramatic turn. Adhara, taking advantage of the distracting celebrations, seized the quaffle and scored, bringing the lions back into the lead. Sylph thwacked her club at a passing bludger, sending it rolling over itself straight at the Hufflepuff player who caught the red ball after it passed through the hoop, who happened to be the boy that she had hit previously. Bad luck for him, eh?

She sighed deeply trying to get her composure back. She needed to focus, and did so. She watched everything from that cool part of her that seemed to still be logical even in the heat of the match. She gripped the handle of her broom, breathing hard. She reached up as the ball was thrown to the left hoop. Her hands brushed it and brought it safely in to rest against her stomach. She looked for the nearest chaser and threw it to them.
"Come on! We can do this!" She shouted it towards her team mates.

Silver was, to put it in no plainer terms, pissed off. She had just scored a, let's face it, amazing goal - only to be overshadowed by the gritty Gryffindors.
With a dark scowl on her face, she ignored the jeers coming from the Gryffindors stand and reformed, sharing infuriated glances with the rest of her team as the Gryffindors hovered about them, laughing. This wasn't good enough! She wasn't being good enough, not for this game, not for this level of competition - the Gryffindors had finally put together a very difficult team to penetrate, and she knew, with a horribly sick feeling, that they were not going to be able to keep on a par with them for long.
Still, they had to try. She saw this and more reflected in Wyl's expression as she sailed past him in search of the Quaffle, and nodded to him. The game wasn't over yet. Brushing hair away from her damp and sticky forehead, Silver pressed on, not yet beaten.

Silently, Aidana cursed as Hufflepuff scored. The score was too evenly matched for her. They needed to find the snitch soon, and they needed to score. Someone needed to take care of that Silver, she was everywhere in the game. Her wish was soon granted as the red and gold side of the stadium erupted in screams. Her efforts were not in vain, as Adhara scored yet another goal for Gryffindor. But they were only up by 10 points, they needed more.
Laura was close on hand also, speeding towards Adhara. A flash of red at her right told her that someone had thrown the Quaffle. Lars again. Shooting towards the crimson ball, she just caught it by the tips of her fingers. This time, she held on tightly before speeding off towards her opponents goal. Looking on both sides of her, she wished for reinforcements as she dodged both bludgers and a player in yellow.

And yes! Her hands grasped it the red quaffel filling up her vision she leaned flat against her broom handle and sped towards the goalposts. "C'mon, come ON," she murmured under her breath, in a sort of trance as she dodged players and bludgers with deft efficiency.
"Time to score one..." she began, looping the keeper as she turned on her broom to get better aim, "FOR GRYFFINDOR!"
She was just a meter away from the goals, as she pulled up short and slammed the quaffel through the center goal hoop. Punching a fist in the air, she marvelled at the ease of the score...but it was nothing to cry about!
