ooc: This is a continuation of "Surprise" from the Hufflepuff Common room. Forgive me...muse is on the fritz when I made this.
It seemed that time had slowed to nothing; for every step that Forgoil took; it seemed that an eon passed before his eyes. Then again this probably would happen to any of those misfortunate students that were caught up in the butchery of House Hufflepuff. So much had happened; it seemed like a dream because surely so much pain could not be inflicted in one sitting? But it did happen and now two of the wounded made their way to the Hospital Wing.
The one that was carrying the other was Forgoil and even though his wound now was covered by a scar; it burned like hellfire and his abdomen constantly felt like it would collaspe under the pressure. Yet Forgoil wasn't the case that needed to be seen, Kenneth Stone was. Drapped in Forgoil's arms, Ken's lower jaw hung askew, courtsey of the person that invaded the Common room. Ken's collar bone was also crushed by the attacker and most of his upper body covered in crimson death.
But when all of Forgoil's labors seemed lost; there were the familar doors to the Hospital Wing. He didn't want to set Ken down, so with what strength remained in the boy; he kicked the doors and they heaved to their sides with a mighty groan of protest. Once the doors parted to reveal Forgoil carrying his burden, the grey-haired boy slowly staggered to the nearest bed and slowly lowered Kenneth into it, but as he was rising again; a lance of pain shot up his body from his stomach. To his horror, the fresh scar on his stomach had burst open from the physical exertion on the body and it was not long before blood stained the boy's clothes and leaked to the floor.
And with a low moan of agony, Forgoil collasped to the floor alongside Kenneth; conscience that he was bleeding, but unable to stop it. Ken and Forgoil, newly made friends; both bleeding away til Kingdom come.

The attack on the Common Room was horrific and still fresh in her mind and still raging on. Kasey ran as fast as she could to wards the Hospital Wing, her feet pounding the stone floor, her heart pounding in her head. It seemed everyone was going to have something to show for this attack, Forgoil with his scarred stomach, Carmen with her burnt neck and Kasey with the gash in her cheek. The blood that had once been trickling from the gash had begun to dry, leaving a long crimson trail down the blonde nurses left cheek, her neck and onto her pale blue pajama top.
Rounding the corner, she saw those two blessed doors, the doors to the Hospital Wing. Running up to them, Kasey shoved them open, looking around frantically with wide sapphire eyes. Then she found them, two of the escapee's, Forgoil and Ken.
Ken was still a mess and looking at the poor boy still made her stomach churn. Moving over to the pair, she saw that crimson was now seeping though Forgoil's robes, where his scar was. Taking a deep breath, she lifted Forgoil off the floor, sure he was heavy and sure it was a strain on her, but the nurse did it a lot so it was easy. She placed her fellow Hufflepuff onto a vacant bed, she pulled out her wand and cast a spell over his bleeding stomach, to prevent further blood loss. Then it was Ken's turn, this was going to be a delicate process. Lifting him carfully, supporting his head and chest, she placed him on the empty bed next to Forgoil and took another deep breath.

The ghost had stuck her head through the wall when she heard the doors open. Her very first inclination was to get the boys onto beds, but the one doing the carrying seemed to be managing for now, so she ducked back into the store room and selected potion bottle after potion bottle.
When she came back out, the door opening behind her to let the bottles through, she gasped, for there was Kasey lifting the boys into beds herself. And what was more, Kasey had a mark on her as well.
"You really ought to know better than to get yourself hurt Kasey," the ghost said in an tone of voice that sounded angry, and her face was clearly a mask of fury, but the look in her bright green eyes betrayed the fear and worry she was holding in. If she didn't hold it in, then she knew she would go to pieces.
While the potions she had selected still orbited her, the dead girl pulled from a pocket a gift she had recieved from Ashlle for Christmas, it was a wand, an etherial wand with which she could do magic, ((please note, I'm not making this up, thank you Ashlle, it really is coming in handy)) though she had not yet used it for anything yet.
"Bone setting, now what was that spell?" she muttered to herself as she waved her hand at the bottles to go about their business. Soon cotton balls were being soaked in potion and dabbed lightly over Kasey's cheek, as well as Forgoil's shirt being moved for others to be allowed to gently apply themselves to his stomache wound.
Watching her potions at work efficiently, the phantom found that she could not remember a spell for setting bones, it was something she had gotten used to leaving for Ashlle to do while she herself handled all the potions. If it came to a matter of remembering, the specter could not even remember learning a spell to set bones in their proper place.

ooc: So should we get Ashlle to come help?
bic: Kasey looked up from the fading form of Ken at the light clinking of bottles and for the first time that night she managed a small smile. She never thought she would be so relieved to see the phantom. "Shae, thank god" the blonde nurse said walking over to her purple-haired assistant, as Shae seemed to give Kasey a slap on the wrists at getting a gash on her cheek, she knew that the ghost was just trying to be strong, but still the harshness of her tone hit a sensitive spot somewhere in Kasey as her memory proceeded to flash back to the chaos that was the Common Room, and Carmen fighting off the Demon that was tearing the house apart.
Swallowing the lump that formed in her throat Kasey, looked away and back down at Ken as a tear escaped slipping down her left cheek the salt stinging the gash. "Yeah sorry Shae" she using her pajama sleeve as if to wipe away sweat, but used it to rid her cheek and eye of the tear. The nurse felt the potion sink into her skin and begin to work away, reaching up she touched her skin feeling the long scar the halberd had left, it looked like she would have a souvenir from the nights events.

The ghost looked at Kasey again as the (once again) blonde nurse stood up and came over, and was sorry for her harsh tone.
"If you want, I daresay I have a potion to rid you of the scar, but I'm afraid the only thing I can do to mend bones takes a while. Not to mention that these boys wouldn't be allowed to move for a week," she said as the potion that would do the job hovered before her.
"Of course, if you know a spell that would work faster, Kasey, then by all means use that. I'm going to fetch them some soft blankets and my sleeping draught," the dead girl added, turning away from the patients for a moment and heading for the linnen closet.
She had not meant to upset Kasey, but she was barely staying in one piece herself seeing three Hufflepuffs coming in at the same time with injuries.
As the specter returned with the sheets and her own special datura mix that would relax muscles and cause the patient to sleep without dream, she asked softly "Kasey, what happened to them?"
Why people came into the Wing was something that the ghost kept track of, and indeed why she had bought the magicked qill on it's roll of parchment that recorded what happened when it was an active day. It was like a log book of the Hospital Wing, noting when people came in, and with what, and - when the ghost could get it out of them - why they were in that state.
The datura bottle hovered a moment over the boy with the dislocated jaw, when the girl nodded, one drop fell from the lip of the bottle into Ken's mouth and hopefully down his throat. Then the potion floated over to Forgoil and did likewise at another nod from the ghost.

Screams, shrill screams, banshee screams, blood, tears, broken bones, broken spirits, Carmen, magic, Imperio!, CONFUNDO!, Obliviate!, CRUCIO!, THUD...SQUISH...CRUNCH..., "Oh, my GOD!", Imobulus, Conjunctivitis!, Stupefy!.
Various spells and scenes flashed through the nurses mind, as she stood staring into the nothingness, Shae's voice being the only thing that brought her out of her nightmare like trance and preventing her from screaming. Snapping her head around to look at the purple-haired phantom, the blonde nurses heart raced and sweat had formed on her brow.
Swallowing and registering the ghosts question, she answered, "Mai, Mai did this" she said letting her clouded sapphire eyes look back at Ken and Forgoil on their beds, "She came into the Common Room and attacked us, unleashed the worst on us, brought near hell to our home" the blonde nurse added taking her eyes off the two fallen and back to Shae, "Its like a f***ing war zone in there Shae, a living f***ing nightmare".

OOC: Gah! Nobody told me there was a thread here! *laughs* Time for a late entry.
BIC:
Ken knew he was moving. He could feel the wind hitting what was left of his face. The question was...where? Where on Earth was he being taken? And who was carrying him? He couldn't hear anything. He'd gone into shock so long ago that his senses no longer were of much use to him. Drifting in and out of the slightest hint of consciousness, Ken feared what was going on. Yet, suddenly, his carrier stopped, then started again. A scent drifted past the boy's damaged nose. It smelled like...medical supplies. So...the demoness felt pity for him? No...that wasn't it. Then who was it? He heard a groan, and the approach of another figure, then the etherial chill of a ghost. Several people were near him and he knew it. He just couldn't tell who they were.
What the hell is going on?he thought.
Voices...indistinct, garbled. Liquid...cold, soothing. Ken's damaged body was having trouble registering exactly what was going on. Even more, his blood loss was reaching catastrophic levels, and his lungs were yet to take in a breath of air for a few minutes. Time was of the essence. Ken just hoped that whomever was around him knew that. Ken was dying, ever so slowly, and he feared that sooner or later, he might find himself floating next to the other etherial presence in the room. Soon, Ken's sensed died abruptly. Yet this was not due to death, but from the quick actions of the ghost and the datura bottle she possessed. Soon Ken's heart rate slowed, his muscles relaxed, yet still no breath passed into his lungs. The ghost had provided maybe thirty more seconds to his life span, but not much more than that. Then Ken lost consciousness completely. He prayed that whomever saved him, did so as quickly and safely as possible.

Mai! Something had definately happened to the demoness in the time since she had killed the girl, but right now she had to tend to Kenneth, and that meant shoving all thoughts of the deadly beauty aside.
He wasn't breathing, this was a spell she could remember easily enough, she had used it before in her homeland. As it was from her homeland, the spell was in Romanian.
"Suflare Iar," she said, pointing her wand at the boy, hoping it would work. It had to work, there were other things as well. "Închis al tãu avarie ºi a face sînge iar," she begged the boy's body as she applied a clotting and skin-growth potion to his skin and dripped another potion down his throat in aid of his body creating more blood.
She felt sure that she would eventually bring out a device for dripping blood into the boys viens. She had used such devices before, when the need for blood was one of many things that the body might not be able to satisfy on it's own. She felt that this might be one of those times again.
"Hold on to life young man, you're not joining me in the ether this night," she whispered in his ear. Turning to Kasey again, the ghost tried to smile, and felt sure she was either failing, or the smile was shakey.
"A spell for their bones, Kasey? And their names, too if you know them," she said quietly, she had no intention of waking other patients in the Wing just because Mai had come into the castle for an unknown reason and was creating havoc in her wake. That was her way after all.
((Translation(both phrases are Romanian): Suflar Iar - Breath Again; Închis al tãu avarie ºi a face sînge iar - Close your wounds and make blood again))

ooc: I think its the middle of the night still...maybe closer to dawn now? :-\
bic: A spell....a spell. The only thing she could think of that moment was skele-grow, but surely that wouldn't be strong enough to fix the damage that had been done here? "Skele-grow, would that work?" Kasey asked looked at Shae. Really the blonde nurses mind was a mess, she needed to clear and sort it out fast or Ken wasn't going to make it.
"Well this is Forgoil Halifirien" Kasey said pointing to the gray-haired boy to her left, "But I don't know his name, he is new I think" she added gesturing to the boy on her right, "Forgoil, do you know his name?" the nurse asked turning back to the gray-haired boy.

Skele-grow would be no good, it could grow new bones, but it did little for mending broken ones, or the ghost would have brought it out first. She didn't say this to Kasey, just shook her head at the suggestion.
"Skele-grow wouldn't help this young man," she said as she noted that one of the boys was named Forgoil.
"I've given him a sleeping potion Kasey, and he needs rest, don't wake him please, he'll do it himself when he feels he is up to it," the ghost added when her superior nurse turned to one of the young men laid out on white sheets before them.
If Ashlle were here, the spirit knew, she would know what to do about mending bones. It almost occured to her to find her and hustle her down here, but everyone needed their sleep, and this might be one of the nights Ashlle had actually gone back to her dorm to sleep. So many nights she knew the red-head slept in the Wing. ((Is that a good opening for you Ashlle?))
She had promised the boy wouldn't join her in the ether that night, but morning was rapidly approaching, and she knew her time was almost running out. Something had to be done fast if this boy was going to wake up. Sometimes people didn't wake up from datura, but the ghost's potion was carefully concocted so that no one died from it. The minimal amount helped, she knew how bitter it could taste.
"Live, nameless one, I give you no other duty this night but to live. Please don't fail me," she whispered to him, almost laying a hand on his cheek, but carefully refraining. If his broken jaw froze into place it would not help at all.

Frustrated with herself Kasey suddenly headed off to her office to find the large medical potions and spells book she kept in there under lock and key. Pulling out the silver key from her pajama pants pocket, she shoved it onto the lock and turned it to the right until there was a click. Taking the key out and putting it back in her pocket, she reached in and pulled out the large book covered in brown leather, the title etched in gold.
Shutting the cupboard, she pulled the key out once more and turned the key left so it locked, tugging on the cupboard handle to make sure it was locked properly. The blonde nurse then stood up and looked at the large book, flipping it open her sapphire eyes scanned the contents page quickly until she found what she was looking for, running her finger along the page she got the page number and begun to search for it.
Soon she found it, page 234 How To Heal Broken Bones. Reading quickly over the ingredients, she was relieved to see that they had all of what was needed in the Wing. Slamming the book shut she ran back out and over to the bench where hundreds of potion bottles stood, as well as various other containers and bottles. Reaching into a container, Kasey pulled out an empty vile and set it on the bench and set about filling it with all the ingredients until a dark green liquid filled the vile.
Popping a cork into the top of the vile, the blonde nurse gave it a good shake to mix the ingredients. She then headed back over to Ken's bedside and removed the cork, then she proceeded to let four drops fall onto his jaw bone and collar bone as instructed by the book. The reaction was almost instant, his jaw begun to shift and fuse itself back together, the same with his collar bone. All they could do now was sit back and wait.

Watching Kasey out of the corner of her eye, the ghost noticed the cabinate for the first time she had worked in the Hospital Wing. It wasn't unusual that she hadn't seen it before, she hardly ever went into Kasey's office.
"That's a book I wouldn't mind access to, I could have potions like that ready rather than having to wonder if there was anything we could do," she murmured quietly as she watched the bones mend and set in their proper places.
After all, Kasey, Carrie, and Ashlle all had things to do away from the Wing, the ghost didn't most of the time, and doing something kept her occupied. She never felt as lonely when she was doing something useful.
When this was over, perhaps she would ask Kasey about the rest of the contents of that cupboard. In the meantime, she was still a little worried about these students, she wouldn't know for certain that they were out of danger until they woke up again and ate something.

"Stupid Mai." The prefect muttered to herself as she sat up in her room upon her bed. She had a flannel blanket wrapped carefully around her shoulders, meant to drive out the cold that managed to sneak in through the small cracks in the window frame. Though she doubted that this day could get any worse, she knew that it was only just begining. There were still classes to attend- today was her first day of advanced charms, and she didn't want to be late. So, with a sigh, she shed the blanket that kept her warm and got up.
Dried blood was caked upon her arms, with fresh crimson liquid still running down from the marks the demoness had made. Faye had all but forgotten about her own injuries thanks to her annoyance towards Rose, but now it all came back to her. She wasn't even the only one injured; what about Forgoil? Was he okay? sighing, she realized that she had to deal with her own wounds before she could even go down and see how anyone else was doing. Luckily, she was able to locate some muggle bandages inside her trunk, leftover from a long time ago. And once she was finished wrapping both of her lower arms, she threw a cloak on and left for the Hospital Wing.
It was a good thing that it was a short walk down there, because the whole while her mind was going mad with questions. She didn't think that any of the injuries they had attained would be life-threatening... but you never knew what might happen. And all the while, she felt a bit guilty about it. Before it had been Rezna who had been hurt, now it was Forgoil and Ken. Why did these kind of things keep happening to people from her own house? She was trying her hardest to keep everyone safe, but sometimes her hardest just wasn't good enough.
She pushed the Hospital Wing doors open with more force than was really needed, but she didn't care. As long as the door got opened and she could get in. As soon as she saw Forgoil lying motionless upon a bed, her pace quickened and her heart beat fast. Not wanting to get in the nurse's way, she decided to take a seat off to the side. As soon as they were done treating Forgoil, she'd be right by his side when he awoke. She couldn't let anything else happen to him. Not after they'd only just promised to try and fix their differences... she couldn't let that backslide.
"His name is Kenneth Stone." She mumbled, leaning back in the cushy but metallic hospital chair. "And Kasey, I assume you know who Forgoil is. Will... will they both be okay?" Other than that... she didn't really have much else to say. In all honesty, she was still in shock about what had happened. How could she, or anyone, have let such a thing happen?

"His name is Kenneth Stone."
Kasey turned her head and looked up as she heard the famliar voice ring in her ears, "Faye..." she whispered walking over to the girl, giving her a lopsided smile, "Are you ok?" she asked reffering to the Common Room and to her bandaged arms. "Yes they should be fine, Forgoil's scar opened again but it will heal over again soon and he should be fine" she reassured the Prefect her smile now becoming a small one, "Then we will try and get them some food and water to re-hydrate them".
