The ghost spotted Faye's arms, and guessed at what lay under them from the few bits the prefect seemed to have missed.
"Wash your arms with this please," she said, pointing to a brown glass bottle that was floating over to Faye. "It will help get rid of the smell of blood, as well as fight infection and heal over your own injuries," her attention may have been divided, but there was no way she would miss a trick. A clean yellow cloth was following the bottle through the air to Faye.
The ghost turned back to Ken. Concern written in her brown, desperate worry hidden deep within her eyes. She always worried like this when she wasn't sure how things would turn out when the morning came. Or when the next night came and there might seem to be no change in the state of the student.
"Hold on, Kenneth Stone. You're out of classes for the day I think, but please wake up in time for lunch," she said softly to the boy who had come in most seriously wounded before turning from him to check again of Forgoil.
Her potions seemed to have done their work, his belly wound was healed over, but she wasn't sure if there was anything on the inside that needed to be taken care of. She bit her lip as she decided that she couldn't do anything more for him at the moment.
At last the dead girl took a seat in the wall between the two boys, she would be in the Wing when they woke up, she wouldn't leave it until they had, though she hardly left the Wing anyway.

OOC: Sorry I'm so late. My mom took me out shopping yesterday.
BIC: Ashlle had been unable to sleep the entire night. She kept having the feeling that something was amiss. Finally in the wee hours of morning she got up, got dresses in her nursing Clothes and made her way down to the Wing.
"I couldn't sleep" she said as she entered the Wing, unaware of the emergency that had gone on in the night. However she soon spotted the two boys and Kasey and Shea looking like they'd been through a war zone.
"Oh for Goddess sake, what happened this time? No no, don't tell me yet, wait till I've mopped up the floor - again." Carefully avoiding the large drops of blood everywhere, Ashlle went to the Closet and quickly magicked the mop to clean the floor once again.

The ghost smiled softly when she saw Ashlle coming into the Wing. The red-head was a familiar and comforting sight.
"Hygene first, Ashlle?" She tried to joke as the blood was cleaned away.
She kind of melted out of the wall - as if she had never been inside the wall, and still as if she had always been standing right there - and checked on the boys again.
"They arrived last night. As for the details, you'd really better ask Faye or Kasey how it happened, I wasn't there," the sight of the blood being cleaned up triggered action in the ghost.
She checked all the other beds, making sure that the ones that were empty were clean and ready to take someone and that the students in other beds hadn't been disturbed in the night by yet another midnight arrival. Satisfied that everything else in the Wing was as it should be at this hour, the phantomess returned to check again on Ken, then Forgoil.

"Well, only because you and Kasey seem to have taken care of the night emergencies. After all A Hospital Wing should always strive for spotlessness. I sure has heck wouldn't trust a Hospital with Blood everywhere. Now that's better."
Ashlle called back the mop and pot it back in the closet, this time in the bucket of treatment potion so the blood would get cleaned off. Then she two when over to the two boys and looked.
"I wonder if they will wake up soon." she said aloud.
OOC: are Kasey and Faye still in the room? I would like to talk to them just to keep this thing going.

ooc: No one had said anything about leaving.
bic:
The ghost nodded at Ashlle's reasoning and went to check again on the students lying in the beds.
"I gave them each a drop of my datura, so I'm not expecting them to wake up for at least another five minutes," she answered, checking the boys up and down for any signs of pain that had not been addressed.
ooc: futherment, I have just run out of posting muse for this. Don't mind me.

OOC: Your wish shall be granted. Apologies for the delay.
IC:
Ken's eyes slowly cracked open, the candlelight from the Hospital Wing gently streaming into his pupils, registering in his brain. Then he blinked, remembering all that had happened. He quickly felt his jaw where Mai had snapped it in two and found it to be fully intact. He smiled and sighed heavily. Then he felt his collarbone where Mai had broken it, also. It, too, was healed, although the skin and general area around both wounds was still tender. Such would probably be the case for a few days. He also felt within his mouth with his tongue and was relieved to find that all of his teeth had reformed, probably with the help of a few potions or charms.
Ken looked around to take in his surroundings. Off to his side he saw Forgoil, unconscious, his wounds healing like Ken's had. He also noticed a few females standing nearby, talking amongst themselves. He saw Kasey, Shae, Faerlain, and one other girl that he didn't recognize. They had probably saved his life. Any more delay on their part and Ken probably would have never been the same. He had a little trouble remembering certain events from the previous night, probably because of the mild amnesia due to the lack of oxygen to his brain, but he was certain that over time that would pass. At least he hoped it did. Ken then realized that he was extremely thirsty and probably could have drained half of the lake at that point. He raised his good arm and called out to the young women a little distance away from him.
"Um...excuse me...could I get a glass of water? I'm really thirsty..." he said with a weak smile.

Ashlle turned to look at the boy who'd asked for a drink and found herself staring at him. He was absolutely gorgeous! How long could he have been coming here? Ashlle for one had never seen him before. "Er . . . Oh yes! Sure I can . . " Ashlle went to get him a glass before she started rambling. She knew that a lot of girls did that, when confronted with cute boys, and now she understood why.
Retrieving a Wellness Water from the Ice box in the back room (her own supply, she drank it so she wouldn't get sick while helping the Wings patients), she got a glass from the closet and poured him a some, added a straw and returned to his bed side. "Er . . . you might wish to sit up while your drink this. The last thing we want is for you to choke or anything." She smiled kindly at him unaware she was blushing furiously.
The Boy had Gray-ish brown eyes and dark hair and reminded Ashlle of a Prince from a story. She hopped he wasn't too much older than she and didn't have a significant other or anything.
Ashlle hadn't had much luck with love. As a first year she'd denied that she even had feelings for any boys on the bases that she was only eleven and wasn't supposed to be mature enough to know what love was. Now that she was twelve she couldn't deny that she did indeed have crushes from time to time but it seemed that all the boys she crushed on didn't notice or care. She soon lost interest knowing that pining over someone who didn't notice you was futile.

As soon as Ken had asked his question, the unknown girl turned around and seemed to stare at him as if there was something on his face or that he was the ugliest thing she had ever seen. Then he noticed her blushing. The soon-to-be 15 year-old smiled inside.
Well, he thought with a grin, at least there's someone out there willing to compete for me.
Ken noticed his slightly bent thin-framed glasses sitting off to the side of his bed on the table next to him and he picked them up, doing his best to straighten them out. Satisfied, he placed them on the bridge of his nose and looked around. The Hospital Wing was quite an exquisite part of the school. The tall, arched stone ceiling reminded him of an old cathedral, which was probably appropriate since students were occasionally carried in lacking a pulse, their soul, or both.
As the girl told him to sit up to drink, he nodded and smiled warmly. He reached beside him and placed his hands on the sides of the bed, then attempted to sit up. But this put too much strain on his newly reformed muscles and bones in his upper body and he winced him pain, then collapsed back onto the mattress.
"Ow! Merlin's beard, that hurt!" he yelped as his shoulders throbbed from the pain. Ken rubbed his shoulders one at a time slowly, trying to massage the pain away. Then the boy looked at the girl who had brought him the water and blushed.
"Um...could you...maybe help me up, please?" he asked. "I'd really appreciate it."

The ghost shook her head when she saw Ashlle's blush. Oh, yes the boy was handsome, that was certain enough, but the twelve-year-old had to know she wouldn't be the only one to notice that. The dead girl couldn't keep a lop-sided smile from her lips none the less. Hope was a wonderful thing.
"Thank goodness," was her first reaction to Kenneth wanting a drink, it meant that he was awake and intact. She was really quite glad the boy hadn't died in the night, it would have put a small black smudge on her self-esteem over her ability to heal people.
The phantomess floated over to hang over the younger boy, and when he tried to sit up, she got his pillows to push him into the position he wasn't able to acheive on his own. Facing him, she crossed her legs in mid-air and floated over his lap. Due to her never having grown more than four feet tall in all her 17 years of life, it was no problem to float there and look him in the face.
People hardly ever noticed how short she was any more, they were too occupied with the fact that she was a ghost, and besides she floated so that she was always able to look people in the face.
"I don't have potions for you to build up your muscle strength, young man. You'll have to work on that here for yourself," she said, smiling kindly into his be-spectacled face.

Ken noticed out of the corner of his eye that the ghost, whom he hadn't been introduced to, yet, shook her head and smiled as the other girl blushed. Ken smiled as well.
As the ghost came over and assisted him in sitting upright, he nodded and smiled again as the spirit settled over his lap, seeming to sit on air.
"Thank you very much, miss. I don't think I know your name, though. I could be mistaken, however, since I think I lost some of my memory temporarily after the battle last night. My name is Kenneth Stone. You can call me Ken, though," he said with a boyish grin.
Ken then noticed that, even when she was sitting in midair, the female ghost seemed very short. He wondered how she had died. It must have been at a young age, since she didn't appear very old at all.
Such a shame, to die that young, with so much yet to live for, he thought to himself. He was glad that he hadn't woken up to find himself staring at his cold, spiritless form, for he still had so much in life to experience.
As the ghost spoke to him about rebuilding his muscle strength, Ken frowned slightly, then brightened up as he realized that it would be a good excuse for him to start working out more.
"Yes, I was afraid of that. But it's okay, I guess. All the more reason for me to get back into a regular routine again. I haven't had a thorough workout in years, and I can definitely tell that I'm not the kid I used to be," he commented, rotating his shoulder to loosen up the reformed muscle that affected that area.
"As for my jaw," he continued. "I guess I'll just have to be a bit more of a conversationalist," Ken said with a smile. "That or eat tough, chewy foods every day."
Ken realized that he was yet to thank anybody for successfully bringing him back from the long, dark tunnel with that white light at the end.
"I owe you so much for saving my life, and I owe everyone else here a lot as well."
Ken's gaze shifted over to the still-unconscious Forgoil.
"I guess I should thank Forgoil the most, though. Without him, I'd probably be a dead, cold corpse lying in a pool of blood back in the Hufflepuff Common Room. That...or I'd be floating beside it. So...thank you everyone. Thanks so much for doing what was right and saving my life."
Ken took the glass of water from the shy girl's hand and nodded in appreciation, taking a long sip from the straw. As the cool liquid slid down his throat, he instantly felt better and smiled. Whatever energy he had lost from his tough night had returned to his body and he felt strong enough to jump out of bed and dance for joy, but he decided that it was against his better judgement to do so. However, his muscles still ached, and Ken was sure that that would be the case for a few more days. After finishing his sip he swallowed, then sighed contentedly and smiled at the blushing girl.
"Thank you for the drink. I really need it after losing so much blood last night. You should have probably just brought me the whole pitcher," he said with a grin.

"Shadow Tell, call me Shae. And I know you're Kenneth, I asked someone. Forgoil carried you in unconcious, now he's out of it," she said, smiling into his young face, reading his eyes.
"Don't you dare pity me for being dead Ken, I wanted to die. I was wasting my life in depression, now I'm using my death to help other people like yourself. Since you will be here for a while, I will have time to tell you about it."
The phantomess listened quietly to Ken, enjoying the sound of his voice because it meant that he was alive. She was even able to tuck her purple hair back into it's place without getting frustrated with it.
"You mightn't have become a ghost just because you died, Ken. It was a choice I made, mostly because I had things left unfinished here, for which you are quite fortunate," she added, standing up from her seated position, treating the air beneath her as other's treated the floor - without thought but with the knowledge that it was there, and something between which distance could be gained with the correct application of pressure.
"When you think you are ready to get out of bed, call for a nurse, and we'll see about you going for a walk about the ward."
Walking across the room to Faye and Forgoil, she checked him to make sure everything was going well.
"He'll be fine, he's just sleeping. I'll tell him you came by and worried at him while he slept, shall I? Or do you want that much to worry at his sleeping form until he's awake enough to see you worrying for himself?" She asked Faye.

The night had been long, hard and by now, the blonde nurse was exhausted, seeing the opportunity she had, Kasey let herself slide down the wall in between Forgoil and Ken's beds, drew her knees up to her chest, placed her arms upon her knees and rested her head atop her arms, Kasey's sapphire eyes soon fluttered shut as she drifted off into a unpeaceful sleep.
Nightmares of the nights event tugged at her mind, causing the girl to moan, twitch and even call out on the odd occasion in her sleep. But soon it was a voice that broke her out of her nightmare-ish sleep, one that seem fresh and renewed. Letting her dark rimmed eyes flutter open, Kasey lifted her head and turned it in the direction of the voice.
Blinking a few times the nurse managed a smile of relief as she saw Ken wide awake and talking. "Good to have you back" the blonde said with a smile giving a stretch, "Feeling better?" she asked relaxing again and letting her arms drop to her sides.

OOC: Damn! You had to be 15 didn't you! Oh well you'll still make a good crush . . . At Ken's words about having more water Ashlle was about to go and fetch some but then thought better of it. "If you have too much water you might get full and feel queasy." said Ashlle knowledgeably. "However if you feel so thersty, might I suggest a Juice or maybe a small meal? You won't get any streanth back by not eating." Ashlle smiled fondly at Ken. How oddly he was making her feel inside! Still said her mind he is far to old for youBe quite Ashlee told it. But . . Shush!"If your not hungry I'll understand, but sooner than later is better, just keep that in mind."

A tea-tray stood at the door of the ghost's work-room, and was laden with a plain cake as well as biscuits and tea cups. The phantomess checked it over her shoulder to see if the teapot was filled with hot tea or not. When it proved to be full of nothing more than warm-ish water, she set it to making hot tea enough for everyone.
That taken care of, she waited for the tea-tray on it's small carriage to come while she studied everyone in the room. She made sure a couple of linden flowers got steeped with the tea before the tray came. Then it arrived.
"Tea up, who wants a cup and who wants cake?" she asked as the pot began to pour itself.
