ooc: that's ok, this one won't be much better I think...
bic:
A cup of hot tea and a slice of cake on a napkin plate floated over to the Head Nurse. The ghost was glad Kasey wasn't above accepting something to eat when she knew she needed it.
"I know it's not the most healthy breakfast I could offer, but I think after a nasty surprise like you got last night, you more than deserve a treat," she said as cups were filled and cake sliced.
"Try sitting on a chair to eat rather than the floor too, huh?" she added.

"If there is enough to go around I'll have some." said Ashlle. She didn't wish to deny the lovely looking Cake to the patients. "What kind is it anyway?" she asked. Although Ashlle preferred her cake with Milk, she didn't mind tea with it and was happy to have anything.

"There's plenty," the ghost promised as a slice of cake settled on a saucer and drifted over to Ashlle with a cup of tea.
"It's just plain vanilla, I thought something as rich as mudcake would be better saved for when students are well enough to really appreciate the delicacy of my cakes," she explained, emphasising the word 'delicacy', it was her own private joke, she made these cakes using a mix from a packet.
The phantomess also passed a slice of cake and a cup of tea to Ken.
"Milk and sugar?" she asked everyone generally.

OOC: Sorry Ashelle. Ken was created with another purpose in mind, which is why he's almost 15. But you could always have her ask him BIC: Ken smiled at Ashelle. She was so shy around him. He thought that he knew why, too. Ken laughed. She seemed so cute that way. As she suggested having him eat something solid, he nodded. "Not a bad idea at all. I could use something in my stomach right about now," he said calmly. As if on cue, Shae left and returned with tea and cake for all of them. Ken wasn't used to having tea and cake in the same meal. He hadn't really been keen on the idea. If anything, right now he could have gone for pizza or a steak dinner. But there was a first time for everything. He shrugged and took the tea and cake from Shae. "Thanks, Shae. Never had tea and cake in the same sitting before. It's not something most Americans do on a regular basis." The Hufflepuff noticed Kasey come into the room and he smiled at her. "Yes, I'm feeling much better now, thanks for asking." Ken adjusted himself in the hospital bed and placed the cake beside him on a small table. He slowly blew on the hot liquid to cool it before he took a sip. Unfortunately, the tea was still quite hot, and he nearly dropped his cup in surprise as he burned his tongue and lips. "Ow...ow...ow...remind me not to do that again," he said as he fanned his mouth in a futile attempt to cool it down. As Shae asked the group if they wanted milk or sugar with their tea, Ken shook his head. "No thanks. But I've heard that honey isn't bad. If you've got some of that I'd appreciate it," he said as he picked up his plate and took a bite of the cake.

Kasey took her tea and cake with a grateful smile "Thanks a bunch Shae, it looks delicious" just as the nurse took a bite from her cake, she heard a yelp come from Ken. Turning around quickly, but not so that she spilled her tea, she looked at the boy and gave a laugh nearly choking on her cake. "Be careful Ken" she said after swallowing her cake and wiping some from her mouth, "And it is good to hear that you are better, but if you keep burning you mouth on your tea, you may need something cold for you tongue!" the blonde nurse added with a chuckle.

"Oh!" exclaimed Ashlle putting her cake aside for a moment. She ran to the closet and retrieved a tube of Bernie's Brilliant Burn Balm. It was Brilliant because it could be used externally (as with Sen) and internally as well.
"Is it that bad? she asked, looking carefully at Ken's face. "I can cure it if you want," she said showing him the tube of balm. Suddenly she realized she'd forgotten to thank the Cake provider. "Thank you for the Cake and Tea Shae, I'll be sure to eat it in a moment. Oh and Just Sugar in my tea please, thank you."

Kasey couldn't help but giggle at Ashlle and shake his head "Ashlle, Ashlle he will be ok he doesn't need any Burn Balm. Its nothing serious" she moving over to her assistant and plucking the tube from her hands, "Let him rest, he will be just fine. Oh and both in mine thanks Shae".

Still feeling horrible after what had happened, the girl felt compelled to visit the friends of hers that she had driven to the Hospital Wing. After what had happened in the Head’s Quarters, she really needed to talk to them anyway. Kiki had been there, and Rose was ready to sacrifice her own school to the Ministry for searching to distract them from Carmen’s law breaking. It really did show how much Wilting Rose adored her school.
But there was no way that she could allow the Headmistress to do that for her. Not after what she had done to Mai. Sure, she deserved to be at least tied up, but she hardly deserved what Carmen dished out to her. No one deserved it. She felt utterly rotten, the blue-haired girl. Wilting Rose had even been so kind as to hand her the prefect badge that Wyl had worn when he was prefect. But like her, he had received a promotion.
Slowly the girl trudged down the hall, passing students on her way. By now, everyone in the school would have heard what happened in the Hufflepuff Common Room, heard what she had done. They all looked at her with frightened eyes, and she heard someone even mentioning she versed Satan himself in there with her curses. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she listened to the morning rumours being tossed about, and unable to bare any more of it, she burst into a run, sobbing as she raced toward the Hospital Wing.
At least when she ran she couldn’t hear what the others were saying. Before she burst through the door (or more like smashed into it head-on), she skidded to a halt, and sniffled. Pushing the doors open, Carmen gazed around the room. There was Kasey, Shae and a red-head she didn’t know talking with a healed Kenneth, while Faye was with them, and Forgoil still out cold. Although they hadn’t been together long, Carmen’s anger bubbled to the surface as she watched Ashlle.
But she wouldn’t let it show on her expression, which little to her knowledge was still red with puffy eyes and streaming tears, an utterly sad face. She sniffled again, slowly wading through the air to the little group. Before she had reached the Head’s Quarters, Rose had healed her wounds around her neck, making her voice crystal-clear, and removed the cast-iron from her skin, so it would probably look very strange to the five of them.
She stood there, frozen to the spot beside Ken’s bed, thinking back to what she had done, and down came the tears again, letting go of a few hiccoughs from sobs attempting to force their way out.

A loud smash against the Hospital Wing doors caused Kasey's head to snap in their direction, not sure of what to expect. But what met her bright blue eyes, was nothing but a red, puffy eyed Carmen, complete with tears. "Oh Carmen," Kasey said shoving her way past the people that stood beside Ken's bed. She looked at her friend, her eyes twinkling with tears that threatned to fall for the girl, "Come here, its ok" she cooed softly to the Hufflepuff pulling her into a hug.

(OOC: Oops sorry, didn't know he was yours! You can have him!)
Ashlle didn't know quite what to do. She had spotted the hateful look in Carmen's eyes a moment before she'd hid it. She wasn't even sure if it had really been there, but decided to take no chances.
"um, I'll be filling out the paper work if anyone needs me." she said and quickly took her cake and sugared tea to the Nurse's desk.

As Ashlle rushed off to get the burn ointment to put on his tongue (OOC: Bleh...that's -gotta- taste bad ), Ken laughed at the course of events that followed. Then he spotted something out of the corner of his eyes that immediately focused his attention. His blue haired angel slammed through the heavy doors to the hospital wing, her neck healed, her hair mussed all over, her beautiful sapphire surrounded in red. "Carmen!" Ken exclaimed, throwing off his covers and clambering out of his bed, only to collapse onto the floor, clutching his shoulder in pain. One eye half closed, his teeth gritted, wincing in pain, Ken managed to grab onto a hospital bed and pull himself up, ripping the sheets off of the mattress as he did so. Slowly, unsteadily, Ken straightened himself out, standing up almost straight. One hand clutching his injured shoulder, Ken used his free hand to embrace Carmen as tightly as he could muster (OOC: That is, assuming that Kasey has let go by this point . Sorry Kasey...mind if Ken butts in for a few moments? *gives a nervous grin*). He took a few unsteady breaths, his eyes glistening over with tears. He gently whispered into her ear as he embraced her with all his strength and heart. "Carmen...I'm so glad you're all right. I was afraid I'd lose you," Ken whispered quietly, sobs escaping between his breaths. "That demoness will someday pay for her actions, I swear it. You should never have to suffer so much again." Taking a moment to stand up as straight as he could, Ken locked eyes with Carmen and placed a hand on her cheek, wiping away the tears streaming down her silky smooth skin. He gave a weak, lopsided smile before clutching his shoulder again, groaning in pain and stumbling back to his bed, sitting down on it heavily. After a few moments, Ken looked back up at Carmen. "What did the headmistress have to say? Is everything going to be all right?" he asked between labored breaths. OOC: Sorry, Ashlle. Carmen's already claimed Ken's soul. Good luck, though. And no, I didn't forget about your post .

ooc: No its cool shes all yours hehe Kasey let go of Carmen in a hurry as Ken collapsed to the floor, only to stand to his own feet again after pulling the sheets from a nearby bed, "Ken, if you wanted help you should have asked" Kasey said shanking her head as the boy embraced her Aussie friend, "You could have hurt yourself or even Carmen" the blonde nurse added picking up the sheets, "But I will forgive you.....this time" she said with a smirk and a cheeky twinkle in her sapphire eyes. "Oh Ashlle come wash the sheets and remake the bed please" Kasey called to her assistant tossing the sheets to the end of the bed.

Ashlle quickly got up and grabbed the sheets and put then in the 'to be washed' pile for the House Elves. It disappeared almost immediately. Ashlle then when to the closet and took out some new linens and took them to the messed up bed. She placed them in the middle in a certain position, then used her wand to make the bed.
When she was done the bed was as good as new and tucked with hospital tucks to be sure the linens didn't come off again until someone actually got into it. Just as she finished the Linens she'd put in the House Elves pile returned and put themselves into the Linen closet . . .

((ooc: Huh, I go away for a week and stuff HAPPENS! Anyway, I'm back now, and I can respond at last.))
The ghost had been unfamiliar with Ken's accent - having never been to America, met an American or seen an American movie before, this is really a little more understandable - so she hadn't known he was from America, though when he seemed a little unfamiliar with tea and cake, she supposed it must be something not done normally where he was from.
Some honey drizzled into his tea when she sighed, and appropriate milk and sugar to the other cups. She had just finished when Ken tried to jump out of bed. Turning to see what had made him get up when he clearly wasn't up to it just yet, the phantomess spotted a girl with blue hair and blue eyes. She really was quite pretty, though clearly a little worse off for not sleeping properly.
"You get back into that bed, Kenneth," she said sternly to the boy before turning back to the young woman he had rushed for.
"You look like you could use a bed yourself Miss, or at least a chair. Carmen, isn't it?" the phantomess said, smiling kindly to the girl, concerned only for a student who looked like she could do with some R'n'R.
Spotting the prefect badge on the girl's shirt just above the Hufflepuff standard, the dead girl guessed that this young woman must be looking exhausted after whatever had happened in that house's commonroom that night. The time had come, she decided, to find out what exactly had happened.
"Please sit down, I'd like to hear what happened in the Hufflepuff's commonroom that gave me work in the silly hours of the morning. Try and not leave out any details please, I like to be told the whole truth," she said, pulling her legs up into a tailor seat in the air again.
