The trek from the Forest had been long and ardous, but Fenris Fenrir had made it out alive; even though he continued to become weaker by the minute. Where once he felt intense cold; now he felt fiery heat burning from inside out. The Demoness' poison was assaulting his immune system too swiftly for even his regenerative prowess to combat it. And because of that; his time lessened all the while. He would have to make one, last desparte gamble in hopes of not joining the one from the stars in such a disgraced state. But now he had passed under the rusted, detierioating threshold of the Graveyard. And even without his nose; Fenris knew that Miss Roberts was not far behind him. For his impecable hearing was still functional and that was what he had relied on to make sure that she had not wondered off the path. And now that she wasn't far behind him; Fenris Fenrir let out a sigh and collasped into a heap on the dusty turf of the Graveyard. And then his mind began to wander. Adore the Angelus Morti For he is our protector Was his Master truely his protector? If he was then why hadn't he assisted Fenrir in his time of greatest need? How could Fenris adore him if he was not protected; though he was still binded to his word and his honor. Admire the Angelus Morti For his sacrifice to mankind Exalt the Angelus Morti For his strict guidance Revere the Angelus Morti For his undying guard
Fenrir closed his eyes and tried to block out those words of his Master that haunted his mind; the words of indoctoration. The words that his master planned to use in the future to far greater affect on the school. Closing his once-burning eyes in pain while he lie in his throes of agony, Fenris let his mind relax and began to send out his message to Angelus Morti, 'Master...I have come....'Venerate the Angelus Morti For his holy wisdom Honour the Angelus Morti For his eternal strength Glorify the Angelus Morti For his all-seeing vision Praise the Angelus Morti For his enduring rule
'The girl...she is coming...she will shortly arrive and then you can speak with her; the Prefect Roberts. She says she will listen to what you shall say, but do not believe her in full; she broke her word once with me; she might perform the same treachery on you as well.'Hail the Angelus Morti For he is the lord and master
'If ever your servant, Fenris Fenrir, has served you well; then remember all that he has done! Look upon all that he has given to your name and your glory! Recall that he has held to his promise and his word! Help him Master; help him become whole once more in order so that he may serve you once more! For your faithful enforcer; do this small favor!', bellowed Fenrir into the emptyness of the Graveyard; in hopes that his Master would reply. Worship the Angelus Morti For without him we are nothing

Bic: Dante walked through the graveyard her place of blissful solitude, but there was danger in the air tonight, this danger she recognized as a lycan. The lycan she was most familiar with was Fenris, from what she had heard he was very dangerous. Harsh breath reached her ears and her blind eyes scouted though she saw nothing, she could tell she was getting close now. As she drew even closer, she grew cautious, she didn't want to get into to much trouble.

OOC: Oh no; you are certainly welcome to join this thread; but now you have entered into my world and though I cannot kill you; you are in my sphere of control^^ In otherwords; curious little girls such as yourself might be harmed in the making of this post IC: There came something that Fenrir was long expecting; the sound of someone approaching. Although his nose was still in the process of growing back since some fragements of it remained; he had to rely on his hearing and as powerful as it was; he couldn't tell who this was that drew near him. Whoever it was; it was certainly not Hayzie Roberts, for she was crawling last he had heard her, and this arriving person was walking on two feet. For a brief moment, Fenrir's heart leapt for joy; his Master had come; perhaps he would only Fenris that one, small favor; that then he registered that those footsteps were too light for any man. This was a girl or woman and she was not on the guest list. Fenris slowly rolled onto his back and using his feet as a base and his legs as pistons; the raven'haired madman was able to propell himself into a standing position and could now see the arrival. Definitely not on the guest list; this was not one of Angelus Morti's targets nor was this the Demoness that he had once had the pleasure of working with. What had happened to her; he did not know nor did his master tell him, but it would be a shame that they might lose such an alluring and deadly ally. Even as he bled from the numerous wounds that had only begun to heal; Fenris Fenrir slowly advanced on this girl. Foolish child; he had thought that he had made this place a area to be feared; for here is where mighty Windwaltz disappeared and here was where many a student received their share of pain. And now; she was about to find out why the Graveyard to be left alone. 'This is the land of Angelus Morti; only those that follow him are allowed; all others are...conviently indisposed to decribe how they came here. You cannot get out; it will serve you no good if you do; your fate is almost sealed the minute you entered. Now; here you will remain; either at the command of my Master or as one with those that have dwelled here for centuries. And if my master does not show; you are mine to do as I please; it has been sometime since I have tasted human flesh and I dare say that I long for it.'Finishing his small monolauge right when he towered over her, Fenrir's right leg lashed out and struck the girl in the chest; sending her crashing into a tombstone. Yet that kick taxed too much energy from Fenris and he had to struggle to maintain his balance. Weakned as he was; he doubted that this girl would prove to be much trouble. 'Do you know the muffin man? Yes I know the Muffin Man; he lives on Drury lane or should I say lived? Yes I know the muffin man; who lived on Drury Lane, for there is his tombstone little girly. Now the big, bad wolf is going to blow your house down and pull all the hairs off your chinny chin chin.', giggled Fenrir as he stalked over to where his rag doll had landed. Clearly he was losing it; the last warning sign before he was going to do something drastic.

“Freeze.”
The words were whispered from the mouth of the icy demoness, blood-red eyes shone brightly against the darkness of the cemetery. A smirk played across her features, her ungloved hands were clasped together in front of her as she took her time making her way to the lycan and the blind girl. “Fenris,” she said icily, a smile now illuminating on her porcelain features.
She was different this time, but only the slightest. That acid green hair with black streaks was reversed, the green had taken the place of the black; too large neon streaks down either side of her head. The rest of her hair was an onyx color, it suited her well.
“You look like…you’re in a bit of pain,” this was the most she had ever talked to the lycan, they had only briefly talked when they completed a mission together…it was mostly Fenris’ doing, but she was there should he have needed any assistance. She was just as dangerous as the lycan, for her touch was that of ice. And today, like sometimes, she was lazy and forgot to glove her hands. Wouldn’t it be a sin to see someone be introduced and touch her icicle fingertips? …For her to slowly suck away their soul, life, body…her eyes were briefly closed, but widened with a new source of insanity.
“Do you need anything?” She asked curiously, now standing alongside him, catching his moment of instability. She examined him now; up close, and she could clearly see numerous wounds scattered among his body. She wondered what creature would have done such a thing…probably a lot. Xailyn admired him for going on, it appeared to be painful yet he slammed the girl into a tombstone…she looked familiar.
“Hey, I’ve seen you before…” The demoness said to Dante, perhaps talking to an unconscious body, she wasn’t sure the state of her, yet she spoke. Of course she wouldn’t recognize Xailyn, but perhaps her voice, and very dangerous, and cold aura.
Ooc: Sorry, the post is kind of sucky..I have to run, I needed to post here. ^_~

Dante slowly caught her breath she had been kicked and she realized she was in a spot of trouble but then there was another aura one that was cold and the voice 'Hey, I've seen you before.' it was the woman that was by the lake, they had only spoken once and the words could have most certainly been kinder, the lycan she was sure now was Fenris, the same one that attacked a friend of hers a while back. The pain in her chest began to fade and she sat up slowly. "Well...that was uncalled for." Dante sighed letting out her breaths slowly. She raised her hand to the spot she had been kicked. Wishing to what ever higher power that she could see. "Your injured are you not, you could've killed me, but you didn't, and even I can smell the blood on you, I can't harm you but I don't wish to; I was simply walking and now I've found myself in a spot of trouble." Dante let out a breath they were evening out and she was starting to get her bearings back.

"Could've?", bellowed Fenris, " Could've killed you! You think that it is not within my power to kill you here and now; just give me the chance and then you shall become witness to..." And then the poison struck in at full force. He body seemed to burst into flames from insided out and it was then that the mighty being began his plummet. His knees started to tremble and quiver and it was not long after that he collasped on his knees; his eyes shut closed to block out the pain he was suffering. The newest waves of pain split his mind into fragements of thoughts, emotions, and sensitivities, and with his consciousness scattered as such; his wounds that had only begun to heal split open anew.
With fresh blood pouring from his veins, burning him as it fled his body, Fenrir's eyes bulged once before he gave way to the pain and fell on his back with his legs slowly curling out from underneath. His vertabrae felt as if it were snapping as his back arched in pain; all he wanted at that point was for his suffering to cease. He couldn't take the heat much longer; the beads of sweat that started to build up on his face were testimony to this.
Out of all things Fenris Fenrir feared fire, for it could quickly burn his fur and suffering from that was unbearable for him. But to feel as if he were burning inside out and could do nothing to slow it's fiery resolve; that was what he hated most of all and feared above all else. Now he had entered that labrynth and there was no way that he could see to get out of it. Yet Fate was benign in some sense of the word and slowly the unquenchable, poison-induced fires stopped their symphony of agony just enough to allow Fenris to think and communicate.
And then the solution presented itself; in his turmoil he had not noticed the arrival of the very demoness who's presence that he had missed. Yet still he was once more without a name; he would have to get that from her if he lived long enough to do so. Her introductory word had given him the answer and now he had to ask for it. "Demoness", said Fenrir in a raspy voice devoid of moisture, "It is clear that I am in some large degree of pain. And yes; there is something that you could do to me. Freeze me; just enough so that you steal this excess heat that plauges me for the time being. Do this and I will be most greatful."

OOC: Ok, so this totally breaks my 'gone' rule, but, heck, Im bored. *evil grin*
BIC: "I dont think so Fenris." A hard voice cut across the graveyard, followed by a girl entering slowly, a broom on her shoulder. Roan's hazel eyes were ice cold and angry beyond all measure. But there was a small smirk on her face. "No...I dont think freezing will do. Its time you suffered what you cause others. You earned this pain." She said loudly. Taking a few more steps in, she looked at the demon and then at Dante. A small hand dove into her robes and whipped out her wand. A quick movement, and she aimed a spell at Xailyn. "Immobulus!" The spell rushed at the demon, and Roan hoped it would hit. But her attention turned back to Dante. One more to be added to the list of who has been attacked by Fenris. With a small shake of her head, she realized that Dante was blind from the state of her eyes and some of the words she had uttered earlier.
"So Fenris, you sunk so low as to attack a blind girl? Tsk tsk." Roan kept her wand held tightly in her hand, her broom held in the other. Turning towards Dante, she nodded. "Are you alright miss?" Though concern couldnt be seen in her eyes, it was in those four words. Hopefully Fenris hadnt done much do the girl, and they could get out of there safely. "So Fenris, what are you doing here in the graveyard? I heard that shout, though it may have been in the mind. I would be surprised if nobody else heard it. Looking for you Master? The so called Angelus Morti? Well, you dont need to answer, I think I know."
With another wave of her wand, she sent large red sparks flying up into the air, several times, until the area was alight with a red glow. Anyone in a few miles could probably see that, and hopefully someone from the new school resistance would be able to see it. With an evil grin Roan turned back towards Fenris, proud of her magic work. She stood there today not the quivering shaking girl she had been before the last few times she had met him. Anger had kicked that out of her. But it was eery how Roan was acting, not like her nature. She would not pity Fenris in his state, and would be ruthless with her magic if need be. Now was the time for action. "Too bad Fenris, I think the game is up."
Roan had been nearby when this abomination had entered the graveyard. From the bright yellow robes she wore and the broom on her shoulder, anyone could tell she was practicing Quidditch. But curiousity had gotten her when she realized that something was going on in the Graveyard. Determination had pulled her there, hiding until it was the right time to move. And that was now.

Post by Hayzie on Dec 4, 2005 17:12:37 GMT
The journey from the forest had left Hayzie's arms feeling as though they were on fire. If she ever got out of this alive, she was definitely going to make sure she always had a spare wand... no matter how many times she had said it before, she knew this time it would actually happen. Giving another tug and forcing her body to move forwards that tiny bit more, finally reaching her location, the blonde's red cheeked face looked up, tiredness evident on it. At least the day had been dry, so her clothes weren't ruined other than a few rips and tears in them. A new set of robes cost even more than new wands.
Trying to regain her breath, the Gryffindor Prefect looked around her, watching as a black haired Slytherin girl showed up, followed by a demon, and then followerd by a Hufflepuff girl. At least someone had seen where Fenris had taken her in the end, and hopefully one of them would make it back to the school to inform Aylen or someone of significance, anyone who could help.
However, looking at the one who had brought her from the Entrance Hall, he seemed in the most amount of pain she could imagine a Lycan to be in. With the lower part of his arms having disappeared, and various injuries all over his form, Hayz winced. It wasn't looking good for him, and as much as the blonde Prefect detested him at that moment in time, there was no way she could leave him in that much pain. It wasn't moral... and after the way she had caused him so much trouble before, it was the least she could do to....
What are you thinking, Hayz?! the Prefect asked, mentally scolding herself gently. They weren't on the same side at all, and despite how nice he had been to her following him biting her shoulder, they were still on opposite sides in the overall scenario.
But for now, it appeared both the Lycan and the Demoness were distracted, so Hayzie was able to talk to Roan, maybe without being caught. Giving a few fierce tugs against the cold ground, Hayzie ended up next to the Hufflepuff girl, and pulled the bottom of her robes gently. "Get yourself and the other girl out of here... he's already hurt, and can't last out much longer. I need to stay... two of my best friends in the world are in here somewhere... and I need to help them."
But it didn't matter what she had thought before, the Gryffindor's morals kicked in and scrunching her eyes closed to try and escape the scene in front of her, Hayzie continued: "Can I borrow your wand... for two seconds?" boy was she going to regret doing this one day.
As the Hufflepuff gave Hayz her wand, the blonde girl sighed, whilst casting a spell she had learnt herself, and had thought about using too late in more than one situation. "Aguimenti" was cast, quickly followed by: "Glacius" turning the jet of water she had sent over Fenris into ice to try and numb the pain a little until the demoness could help. Turning back to the Hufflepuff girl and handing her back her wand, the Gryffindor explained: "Go while they're still distracted. Please?"

Roan handed over her wand gratefully to Hayzie when she asked, but had a look of horror on her face when she saw what was going on. "What the heck are you doing! Dont heal him!" Too late, the spell was cast. Taking back her wand, the Hufflepuff frantically thought of what to do. But a grin crossed her face when she realized the perfect thing. Fire. Burning destrucitve fire. The thing Fenris wanted rid of, the thing he wanted the demon to help with. Well this time, instead of a fire in the veins, it was time for a fire in the flesh. "Incendio!" Roan bellowed, her wand pointed straight at Fenris. The red light from the sparks gave her face an evil look as she watched her spell. Before when she had fought the lycan, no magic had come from her wand, but now, it was time he knew she was a witch.
Turning back towards Hayzie, a look of determination was on her face. "Im not going anywhere Miss, and certainly not leaving until we are all safe. You may have friends here, but for the time being you are more important. I will not abadon you to their mercy." Roan pointed towards the demon and lycan. "Or to the mercy of their master. You will do no good to us dead or captured. I stay miss." A hard look was in her eyes. She was furious the girl had decided to help the lycan, but right now it didnt matter. This girl was obviously a student, and from the look of it, couldnt walk. Roan was not about to leave her here with the two mad people.
If they had to get out quickly, the broom was the best answer. Roan would stay till the end, until she knew these people were safe. If it meant her own harm, so be it. Waving her wand again, she shouted "Incendio" again at the lycan, wanting to cause as much pain as possible. Let him feel the fire and the humiliation he had caused her. Let him feel fear for once. For it was obvious this lycan didnt like flame. Whether it would work or not, that was the big issue. "Fenris Fenris Fenris, what a pitiful sight to see. The once great lycan now missing limbs. Tsk tsk, pity." A mock look of concern was on her face. Revenge was sweet.

Dante had listened silently to the conversation, she knew that two more people had arrived and maybe her situation wasn't so helpless she felt no spite towards Fenris he attacked her true but was in his nature. "I don't feel hate towards you Fenris, you attacked me true but your a creature that has sunken low in your pain, like I said before I feel no hate but neither do I feel pity, I would leave you to your fate but thats not the kinda of human I am. I wont leave you to be destroyed though you should now we have most definitely started out wrong." Her voice was cool calm no tremor of the fear she had felt earlier was evident. She didn't recognize the other to auras though and that was making her nervous she liked to know who she was with. "I do appreciate your help," she said the voice that had appeared first. "Though I can take care of my self...at times." She wasn't to confident in her skills that she was arrogant, that was foolish.

No. Out of all the insolent, arrogant of children that were the spawn of humanity; it had to be the one girl that was once afraid of him; now she seemed determined to be his demise. How she mocked him; did she really want to see if there was anything left in Fenris Fenrir? Would she even be prepared for the onslaught that could come from a dying creature; burning from the inside with both poison and passion. He would suffer these barbed words of Roan, but what he didn't suffer was the fact that she attacked the demoness without reason.
Had the demones been more like Fenris Fenrir; then the girl would have been right to do what she did; but Xailyn Rose was no Fenrir; she had her own way of dealing with things. But with his throat burning in agony akin to hellfire; Fenrir spoke into the mind of the arrogant girl, 'So girl; you now get to bask in the pleasure of seeing me in pain. You think that I have got what I deserved; you couldn't be any more wrong. If a creature should die, it should die fighting something that it can see; not something from within. And if you look on my sufferings and envision that a human did this to me; that humans stand a greater chance the before; you are wrong. These hurts were caused be a creature that is far mightier than you and yes; even mightier than myself.'
And he would have gone on, berating this arrogant child for what she was, had it not been for the arrival of his captive; his new daughter. How would she take to this; she could go free; she had the chance to escape the towering menace that lurked within the Graveyard. And yet it was a matter of moments that water was pouring onto his body; from where, his disillusioned eyes could not tell. And oh; those about him had no idea as to how cleansing that felt; how it momentarily lowered his pent-up ferver that was caused by the poison in his body. And then the ice, that chilling and unforgiving fiend, started to harden in place of the water and for once; Fenris felt like he was at peace from these pains.
Peace; however, is always short-lived.
Even as his disillusioned eyes flickered clear and he saw that it was his daughter that had granted him this boon from his pains; even as he wanted to express his gratitude; the titans escaped from Tartarus and all those spirits that lie imprisoned there. Roan had light him aflame; melting his icy covering and letting his inner fires consume him, but now matched by a brother of equal instansity on the outside. And then she struck the worst blow of them all; did she think that without his limbs that he was unable to do anything!
"FOOL!", hoarsly bellowed Fenrir as he sprung to his feet; anger fueling him and pain being his catalyst, "YOU WOULD THINK THAT I AM DEFEATED! YOU WOULD SAY THAT 'HERE LIES THE ONCE-MIGHTY LYCAN, FENRIS FENRIR!' OH AND HOW YOU WOULD LIKE THAT MAN-CUB! WELL THAT WILL NOT BE YOUR PLEASURE OF DOING THIS TO ME; OF ALL PEOPLE THAT WALK THIS EARTH; I WILL NOT LET A ONE-TIME COWARD BY THE DEATH OF ME!" With that the raven-haired lycan, lashed out with his right leg; his foot impacting into the insolent child's knee. And when his foot landed back on the ground, his left knee snapped out and into the girl's stomach.
Even though he reeled in agony from use of energy; he hurled his flaming body onto Roan; letting the flames that hungrily licked at his body now allow themselve a new meal; a meal of human flesh. "Imbecile, imbecile, imbecile; what a pitiful thing you are; the once cowardly girl now trying to play the hero; being burned by her own flames. Tsk, tsk; little Red; you should have stayed at Mother's and never venture to Grandma's house. For there lurks the wolf and he is not to be understimated; never, for that will be your undoing. And so what if your signal attracts the friendly woodsman; do you think that I am alone? Wait awhile and you will see"
"You will see..."

OOC: Gah, so bored...
Fenris’s words and tone would have normally caused Roan to burst into tears or panic, loose control. But she was beyond fear. There was no time for it, no time for herself. Right now all that mattered were Dante and Hayzie. But she couldn’t help a small bit of fear wash over here as the lycan stuck out at her knee. Now, joints are not meant to be pushed in the opposite direction of their purpose, to do so is very painful. The force of the blow from a normal human could cause serious injury, as much as completely blowing out the knee. Now this was a lycan that had stuck out, and it was sure as hell from the sharp pain that her knee was gone. That would be no use to her now. She cried out momentarily, but quickly caught herself. The knee to the stomach was not as bad as the pain in her leg, but it still knocked the wind out of her for a moment. Gathering her breath, Roan managed to utter a few words loud enough for Fenris.
“I am no coward Fenris, your old tricks wont work on me. Im stronger now.” Resolve was in her words, but they came out with ragged gasps as her breath returned to her body. Roan barely had time to brace herself before the lycan lunged back at her. Fire. Fenris feared it, but the Hufflepuff hadn’t shown her true terror of it. The girl was deathly afraid of the element. Never before had she felt the burning of flame against her skin, and it was a horrible feeling. So this is the pain you wished to cause Fenris, you idiot Roan. You should have seen this coming. The girl screamed a loud harsh scream, something she had not meant to do. But the fire was eating at her skin, leaving painful burns. She had to get away from Fenris at all costs here. Fighting against her attacker, she managed to get her good leg up and use her arms to push the lycan away from her enough to roll away. Fire was still on her yellow robes, and her skin, and using her wand, Roan managed to put out the flames with a water spell. But it took precious time.
After a few panicking moments, the Hufflepuff grabbed a nearby gravestone and used it to pull herself up, supporting her body with the uninjured leg and her arms. “Nice one Fenris, but its going to take a lot more than that to take me down this time. Like I said Im stronger now, and no coward. And if you so wish to quote Little Red Riding Hood, then have you forgotten? The Big Bad Wolf dies in the end, his stomach is sliced open. And little Red gets away. Get the facts straight. I may not have an axe to slice open your stomach and let your victims out, but I can cause so much more pain.” Her voice once again came in ragged gasps, and she had to close her eyes several time. Looking down she saw the numerous burns now on her arms and hands, and could feel where the fire had spread to her throat. Painful as they were, nothing amounted to the sharpness in her knee that Roan was sure was blown out.
"Now what Fenris? Sure, you may have taken my knee, but that doesnt mean I cant lash out in other ways. Just like you will not go down fighting, neither will I." Anger filled her voice, and with her good leg Roan kicked out at Fenris's face. It caused her to lose her balance, and her hands almost slipped from the tombstone to which she so clutched. Taking a deep breath she shouted to Dante. "If you ever had a time to run, now would be it. If you value your life I would hurry." The Hufflepuff knew that Hayzie wasnt going anywhere, and she wasnt going to try. Roan uttered another cry of pain as her hands clutched the tombstone. "You deserve this pain Fenris, you deserve it."
But even as she said that another sting went up her leg and she winced. And you deserve your pain too, you foolish girl. Why did you even come to the graveyard Roan, why!!?! She asked herself again and again. In truth she didnt really know why she entered, but she rememberd. Because I had to. Something Fenris had said was troubling her. He mentioned he was not alone. Of course the demon was there, but the girl didnt think that was who he meant. Was it his master? If she, everyone there was in a lot of danger. Roan was no match for Fenris, even injured, and so she was no match for his master. And she had no intentions of being kept here in the Graveyard. You have to inform the students where Angelus Morti is. You have to tell Aylen. You have to get out of here.

Dante had heard Roan fall to the ground partially, and she heard Fenris yell, he was insane yet she could not bring her self to hate him, she had no justified reason but she wouldn't let him hurt Roan. "You would kill her just because she insulted you Fenris, you know you are stronger than her, she knows that, she couldn't have injured your pride that much." Dante sighed she had forgotten her wand in the castle and she had no physical advantage, might as well try talking. "I have no advantage over any of you, would you still strike me down?" She asked moving in front of Roan putting her self between Fenris and Roan.

Ooc: Really, thanks for waiting for me to post.
And Roan, since you didn't specify what the spell did, Xailyn will dodge it.
Bic:
Dante didn't say anything back to her, but the demoness shrugged it off, what was a human to her? Her cold, crimson eyes moved over towards Fenris, listening as he let out a little plead towards her. She cocked her head to the side, contemplating it. Her powers of a dark depression wouldn't have any effect on Fenris, for he had already seen the likes of hell; she knew. The only part that would have an effect on the lycan would be the freezing - exactly what he wanted.
Xailyn was ready to place her frozen hand upon his skin, to 'heal' him with her demonic powers when she heard a spell being shouted her way. The demoness dodged to the left, moving away from the spell gracefully. Her eyes narrowed, glaring in the direction of another human form. She stayed on the side lines for awhile, cocking a brow as she yelled at Fenris, telling him she wasn't afraid anymore, and she'd kill him. The demoness sighed, she'd definitely have to put her to sleep.
The blonde that Fenris had previously been carrying took the wand from the girl who had attacked her, and started healing Fenris, a smile of admiration came upon her porcelain features when the daring girl took her wand back, casting a fire spell towards a now-angry Fenris. Now was the time to step in, her mind drifted from the blind girl, she wasn't a threat at the moment, but she wouldn't allow Roan to attack Fenris when he was down.
But of course, Xailyn didn't exactly have to watch his back, for he walked over to her, yelling, sending a kick to her small frame, then placing a foot upon her stomach. Idly she watched the scene unfold, none of them really seemed to think she was a threat. Shame. Because she was.
The ice demoness walked past Fenris, walking over to Roan, grabbing her pretty little neck with an un-gloved hand. She snickered, because she was clutching so tightly to that tombstone for support. Her eyes flashed, a grin and a spiteful look crossed her features, it made a most cynical looking demoness.
"Darling, you're in over your head," she said, softly, the girls feet no longer touching the ground. She held her high, extending her arm to full value. Xailyn wasn't tall for a demon, so she didn't have height on her side. She was only 5'4, but with heels she was a good 5'6. Roan may be able to scamper away, but if she didn't she was now exposed to the most darkest thoughts she ever had; exposed to the depths of hell. Any pain she had ever felt throughout her life began to play in her mind, all in one jumble. Not only that, but her entire body was lost in a state of numbness, and she slowly began to freeze. Could she pull away from the sickening coldness? Both emotional and physical?

(ooc: Please excuse my intrusion, and if it would please you, Miss Xailyn, I will wait after my first post
edit: *sigh* ...and the trend of my posts being ignored, whether accidental or purposely, continues...)
Luka turned on his back. Putting his hands behind his head, he watched the sky through the pattern of leaves that the trees in the forest made. The moonlight filtered through the foliage, making strange speckled patterns on the fae’s pale skin. Blinking once, he raised a finger to trace what little design of the stars he could see. Frowning slightly, he sat upright, flicking out his wings to straighten them. What he saw, it couldn’t be...could it? Another movement from his wings sent him soaring upwards to the treetops. Landing lightly on a high branch, he watched the sky carefully. With his violet gaze flitting from one star to another, his expression grew more and more serious. Yes, there it was; all the signs were there. Present, misfortune, pain, death. The faerie’s eyes closed. He felt it now. He felt pain, anger, hatred, fear. The emotions coursed through him as if they were his own. His eyes snapped open. He looked towards the Graveyard and his suspicions were confirmed by a long, bright burst of red sparks. This had to stop.
The night wind carried him to his destination, the place of rest for those who have passed away. As he reached the scene, it took him but a glance to determine the situation. The dragonfly wings folded flat against his back, and the faerie dropped, rocketing towards the group. His wings flared open at the last moment, sending dust and dirt swirling, halting the fae’s descent and possibly putting out the flames as well. With that, he seized the back of the girls’ robes, yanking them out from between the lycan and the tombstone.
“Stupid girls,” he hissed in their ears. The very tone of his voice was frightening; there seemed to be a powerful authority behind those words that would give even the most formidable being chills up and down its spine. The fact that he was missing his characteristic serenity only made it more frightening. “What are you doing here at night? Go home.” Setting them behind him, none too gently despite Roan’s injuries, he turned to the lycan and the demoness. He seemed not to have much sympathy for the wolf or the girls’ conditions, and his cold expression stayed stony. “You are the ever infamous Fenris Fenrir, are you not?” he asked. “You are causing quite a racket, howling for your master.” Though his words were only statements, they possessed shades of annoyance similar to a parent’s when their child’s bawling woke them in the middle of the night.
