Marina sent acid glares in the direction of Faerlain when the other prefect started to defend against her. There was no way she was going to let the girl get the quaffle if she could help it, after all, Slytherin was already at a bad enough disadvantage.
Focusing, she pressed to her broom, trying desperately to remain in an open, unobstructed window to be passed to without the quaffle being intercepted.

Okay, they were still only ten up. Something had to be done.
After dodging the bludger, and smiling faintly at her teaammates, Lottie caught hold of the Quaffle as Artemis dropped it, thankfully. Grinning again, the small brunette knew what she had to do.
Sweeping over towards the Slytherin goalposts and winking at the keeper knowingly, Lottie got closer, and closer, dodging another bluder and thowing it to the right hand hoop.
Once again, she had scored.
"HUFFLEPUFF TWENTY, SLYTHERIN ZERO!!!!!" she cheered, doing a loop the loop in victory and flying off once again.

Whipping around in a u-bend, Carmen cursed as the prefect's flying was fast enough to dodge the baffling bludger. Hopefully the other Slytherin girl's arm would be enough to obstruct her at least a little.
But her frown was turned upside down when Lottie had scored. The hyper little girl really did know how to fly and aim well. "GO LOTTIE!!! NICE ONE!!" She cried at the top of her lungs.

Wyl had been searching madly for the golden ball the size of a walnut when he heard the crowd begin to roar. Ducking a Bludger and wrenching the handle of his broom up to fly narrowly over the top of a Slytherin Chaser, calling out an apology over his shoulder but not taking his eyes off the field. As he swung around, he glanced up to see the Quaffle soar through the Hufflepuff hoop. Laughing ecstatically, he looped around a Slytherin and flew over close enough to congratulate Lottie.
“Nice work! Love to stay and chat but I’ve got a Snitch to find!” Wyl winked and then shot off in the opposite direction.

As soon as the ball was in possession of the opponent chaser, Marina pressed herself tightly to her broom and zoomed towards the opposite end of the pitch, ignoring all fatigue in effort to score for her team.
Marina bit back all sorts of profanities when the Hufflepuff team again gained possession and scored. She felt inward shame, as though she were entirely at fault for what had thus been a fiasco for Slytherin. She didn't take too long to dwell in the defeat, however, and as soon as the ball went through the posts, she went after it, clutching it firmly in her arms and turning on a dime, trying to make her way back to the Hufflepuff goal posts to score.

Artemis stared in shock as her pass was intercepted and within a blink of an eye, the other team had scored again. Fury rising up inside her, she grabbed the quaffle and, eye smouldering, began to approach the goal hoops again. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as best she could for incoming bludgers and opposing team members.

Silver gritted her teeth as a Slytherin finally got past the tough Hufflepuff formation. With the Quaffle tucked under her arm and a look that could kill written across her face, Silver blanched as the girl advanced speedily, not showing any intention of slowing down or which way she was going to go for the goal.
Silver paused, only momentarily, and then - she dived right, and whacked the ball out of the way with the tail end of her broom.
Cheers roared from the Hufflepuff end, and boos chanted from the Slytherins, but Silver grinned cheekily at them all and went back to dancing wildly on her broom, encouraging her housemates whenever they got near enough to hear her protecting their hoops.

There was nothing she could do- the Quaffle was already far out of reach for her by the time that Artemis had thrown in. Lottie... she had to catch it. Intercept it. He had to. Gritting her teeth out of nervousness and frustration, she merely stayed put. One hand rested gently upon her broom incase Forgoil needed backup, but otherwise she completely allowed him to handle it. She knew he could do it.
"Go, Lottie.." She whispered under her breath. YES! Another goal! But suddenly the Slytherins took the ball and tried to score, but Silver thwacked it away. Perfect chance.
She dove for the Quaffle and then took off in the other direction, heading for the Slytherin goals again.

"I don't think so..." Lottie muttered, directing Carmen to aim a bludger at Marina. The brunette was on a roll, and no Slytherin was going to break that. No Slytherin at all.

The quaffle had been thrown, narrowly missing the blue-haired girl's arm. Another bludger, higher up, had just allowed Wyl to pass by. Carmen frowned at the strange act. Surely they didn't favour others?
She shrugged, and soared off for it.

Noting Faye had the ball, Lottie flew over just in case she was needed. After all, you never knew.... "GO Faye!!!!!" She shouted over the noise as a wind blew her hair around again. "Quit it!" she whined, brushing it away again.

Speeding off toward the Slytherin goals as the Hufflepuffs had posession again, Forgoil darted toward the right goal post in hopes of an easy shot from there, but even if he didn't make it; he would prove a nusiance to the keeper.
Even if he wasn't the one with the ball; he still would have to be watched if he got it.

Closer, just a little closer. The girl had sat her broom directly in front of the two bludgers, coming straight for her. SMACK! One aimed at the Slytherin Prefect, and SMACK! the other aimed at the partner. Ohh bludger work was such FUN!

Closer... closer. Gotta score this goal. Her breath came in short gasps as she began to run out of energy, having just enough to dodge around the Slytherin keeper and make one desprate shot, one last chance for a goal. Well, it would not be the last one, she hoped, but scoring a goal at her first game would be glorious.
It curved in an arc, heading straight for one of the Slytherin rings..
