Merry smiled happily at her students. "Hello Mr. Lyserg, be careful there the floor is still slick with sugar. Hello Miss Shazza, if you could please refrain form eating the classroom till you've completed the assignment, I'd very must appreciate it . . . Oh and be careful of those speckled ones I'm sure their vomit ones."
Then Mr. Triton Commented on some of the students who come to her last class. "Why yet indeed Miss Roberts and Miss Naunet attended my first class. I'm afraid I may have disappointed them with my test, but one does have to start somewhere. Would you mind telling me after class how you knew they'd been here? I'm just curious, you know, I wouldn't want them to be missing something that they left here and I overlooked. not that you can find anything in this candied Class." she shook her head.
Seeing that she had a fair amount of students in the class now, Merry decided to give some more instruction on conjuring the Bluebell Flames. "Be sure that your wands are pointing inside the jars when your trying to conger your portable fires. Also once you get a spark slowly draw your wand away as if you were siphoning the fire out of it, then when it is as big as you want it tap your wand gently to release the flame."
Once she'd given these directions, Merry moved toward Miss Samantha. She seemed to be having a bit of trouble and also seemed awful unsure about being here.
"Hello Miss Samantha" said Merry softly and sweetly. "Is there anything I can help you with?"
OOC: Yes the jars have tops. They have holes in them so the fire won't be smothered but you have to take them off before you start. Sorry for the confusion.

Samanthas eyes widend a bit when the Professer came over, but she smiled a little shyly. "Uhm...You see I do beleive Charms is not my best subject...I seem to be something wrong." She explained to Professer Divine. She attempted to do the Charm again. "Ca-RUL-e-us in-fla-MA-ray." She said shakily pointing her wand at the open jar. Not but a spark seemed to show up. She looked up hoplessly. She felt immesnly dumb since everyone else thought it was simple.

Aridan nodded to the Professor as she spoke to him “I will thank you Professor Divine.” He said calmly to her, with a slight smirk on his face. Hayzie and Adhara would be getting into trouble for this little prank. He had always thought hayzie was one not for tormenting. But she clearly didn’t care if the Professor got a few gray hairs over this.
Aridan picked up one of the jars and toke off the lib. He looked inside the jar for a moment to judge how much fire would be best in the jar. After setting the jar back on the table and looked around to see if anyone else was doing it. After a moment thought he stopped worrying about it and decided to do it.
After performing the wand movements needed for the spells he decided to try the spell. ” Caerleus Inflamarae” he said clearly and calmly, but no spark arose from his wand. He tried again and still nothing happened. He began to get worried about how he must look, but then he glanced up and heard someone pronounce it.
’ Ca-RUL-e-us in-fla-MA-ray’
Aridan sighed and smack his forehead lightly. He had miss pronounced the spell that was why he had not gotten the spark. He closed his eyes and toke a calmly breath then placed the wand end into the jar and spoke clearly so to get it right this time ”Caeruleus Inflamarae”. This time a spark erupted from his wand, startling him slightly. He pulled his wand back a bit as instructed.
The flame poured out of his wand like liquid. As it landed into the jar it seemed to take on the normal form of fire, but the color blue instead of the red, orange, and yellow that was so normal of it. After the fire seemed to fill ¾ of the jar and tapped the wand on the end of the jar and the fire stopped pouring out. He twisted on the jar and looked at the Professor to see if he did it correctly.

Lyserg gasped with a jump when he head Shazza's voice. He sat up straight and took off his headphones. He wanted to look good for her so he fixed his messy bed hair and smiled at her "Hey Shazza! You're looking beautiful today, as always." He patted the seat next to him and wanted her to sit with him.

Ugh. Too Late.
Trying to scrape off the Vomit-Tar combo she had popped in her mouth, Shazza heard Lyse compliment her from somewhere behind.
"Lyse!" she said, blushing slightly. Seeing him pat the seat next to him, Shazza got up out of the bush and sat next to him, giving him a peck on the cheek (making her blush even more).
Pulling out her wand, she grabbed a jar and read the assignment in her book. Once finished, she gave Lyse a smile as turned back to her jar and said "Caeruleus Inflamarae!"
A very large spark came out of her wand but nothing more. Her eyebrows knitting in determination, Shazza repeated the incantation firmly, conjuring a small blue flame.
'Yesssssssss!'
Smiling softly, Shazza began to draw the blue fire out, larger and larger until it covered the whole inside of the jar, in which she tapped her wand and put it out.
Smiling in satisfactory (Charms is easily her best subject), Shazza grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill, and looked to see how Lyse was progressing.

Lyserg blushed when Shazza gave him a kiss on the cheek. He watched her closely to see what she was doing, he wasn't very good at Charms or any subject. Shazza seemed to have mastered the assignment pretty quickly so he followed what she was doing and said the words she said. Once he flicked his wand the book infront of him exploded. Lyserg coughed and coughed, the cloud of smoke cleared and he quickly turned to Shazza "Are you alright?!" He stared at her, his mouth open wide. "I'm so sorry!" He paniced.

Anna slipped into the Charms classroom as quietly as she could, not knowing whether she was late or not. Instantly, she was bombarded with the smell of sugar, and noticed that the place was still a candyland.
Smiling softly, she nodded politely to the Professor and sat down in a desk at the far corner of the room.
Taking her book out she thought softly, 'Amadeus?'
Lately, he hadn't been talking much, disappearing from her mind days at a time. This worried her, for she had a feeling that this development could only bring bad news...
Calling out again, she still recieved no reply.
Anna sighed heavily, rubbing her temples to clear her mind of the throbbing headache that had become a regular occurance.
With another sigh, she picked up her book and began to read.

After a short pause, Shazza began to giggle, which grew bigger until she was laughing her head off.
"I'm-*haha*- fine-" She could say no more.
After her laughing spree ended, she slung her arms around his neck and gave him another kiss on his smoke-covered cheek.
"How about you?" Shazza inquired. With a small chuckle, she added "Need any help?"

"Hmmmm" Merry thought about what she'd seen Samantha do. "Perhaps you need to concentrate a bit more on what your trying to do intent is a large part of magic. Also Try practicing the movements I just spoke of. That should help a lot."
Suddenly there was a loud Boom and Merry jumped a foot in the air to see one of her precious books had been totally destroyed. "Aieee!" she exclaimed hurrying over. Then upon seeing the look on poor Lyserg face she calmed down. "It's alright Mr. Lyserg, don't worry about it. I can order you another book, for now, if you'd please share with him Miss. Shazza? Thank you. Please try to keep your wand inside the jar when your trying this charm. I made them impervious just for that purpose."
Finally having a chance to look around she saw Mr. Triton and Miss Shazza had succeeded in making rather nice looking flames, that were now cleanly dancing in their jars. "Very good! Nice work Mr. Triton and Miss Shazza. I'll add your scores up when I grade your papers. She also noticed that Anna from her last class had entered the room. "Hello Miss Anna, I'm glad to see you back in class."

Ashlle had been trying hard to make the flames work but her hand kept trembleing and knocking agaist the side of the glass makeing many little fires in her jar. Finally she had what looked like a big flame, but was actually many little ones. Grabing the jar at the empty seat next to her she decided to have one final go at it. ’ Ca-RUL-e-us in-fla-MA-ray’ This time she was super carful and drew her flame up to a proper hight before tapping it agaist the side of the jar to complete the congeration. Satisfide with her two jars of blue flames she got out her quill and parchment and began the homework.

Samantha thought hard about what she was going to do, or at least try to do. She had her jar ready and looked down at her notebook. "Caeruleus Inflamarae.." She said as clearlyas possible, causeing the fire to come out of her wand, and then into her jar. She smiled triumphantly and capped the jar which was filled with a blue flame.
She picked up her quill and started on her homework.

Lyserg chuckled when he heard Shazza laughing and then his face grew to panic when the Prof. came over. "I uh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to I swear!" He bit his lower lip from being to nervous. Then a sigh of relief came over him when the teacher walked away and told him to share with Shazza. Suddenly he felt a peck on his cheek and blushed, although you couldn't see it threw the black ash that was all over his face. His hair stuck up in the air and had ash in it as well. He smiled over at Shazza and nodded "I think I should wash my face, huh?" He laughed quietly.

After Anna finished reading, she looked up to see the Charms Professor greet her.
Smiling politely, she said, "Hello Professor Divine. Nice to see you again. How are you doing today?" Looking around, she added with a slightly wider smile, "So, the charm still hasn't worn off, eh?..."
Reading over the pronounciation of the spell, Anna summoned a jar and said as clearly as possible "Caeruleus Inflamarae."
Nothing happened.
Trying again and again, the only thing she could conjure were weak sparks. Agitated, her head pounding harder, she turned to Professor Divine.
"Professor Divine? May I ask for your assistance with this spell? I can't seem to get it right..."
Anna sighed and rubbed her temples once again.

While Teagan patiently waited for Sam's reply, the teacher went over to help her. Teagan quickly looked away, and noticed some other happenings. A boy successfully completed the spell, another boy and girl talked to each other, the talking boy made his book explode, another girl walked in, and Ashlle and Sam created the Bluebell Flames.
After a few minutes, Teagan averted her blood-like eyes, and decided she should stop wasting time and begin the assignment. She delicately lifted her quill, took some parchment, and set them in front of her. Then, she opened her ink bottle, and carefully set it by the jar. She took a deep, slow breath, dipped her quill in the ink, and began the writing portion of their charms work.Charms: Wizarding and Muggle Fire Safety Teagan Monolayre Ravenclaw
Fire safety is something all wizarding and muggle homes are supposed to and should practice. After all, it's made to save people's lives. At home, we practice wizarding fire safety by having a practice drill every once in a while. Our father shows us a magical fire, and shows us a non-magical fire. Then, he asks us what the differences are. It is important to know the differences because the types of fires have different procedures. Also, whoever creates a magical fire needs to watch it at all times or get someone else to watch it just in case it gets out of hand, and needs to be taken care of. At our home, we have magical water in various places that is supposedly able to put out any fire, just in case. We also know a water charm that we can use if things get fierce, but we're careful to only use it in a life or death situation. If the fire is definitely magical, we can use the Finish Incantation charm to try and end it.
We also have muggle fire safety measures that we practice at home. We go over a route that we use to escape the house in case of a fire that we can't take care of. For every room in the house, we have a route, and other paths if the first route is blocked. We have fire alarms, muggle devices used to detect smoke, in several rooms that fire and smoke aren't supposed to be in. We check the fire alarms once every couple of months to be sure they work. Also, if an alarm goes off, muggle authorities are contacted immediately, though we warn them about when we're just going to practice; they don't like coming over for no reason, as we learned during the first time we tested the alarms. I know we have a few fire-proof objects, but I don't know how many there are. We always practice our fire drills every month, or two months. If we need to escape, we're supposed to go to our neighbor who lives across the street's house, and wait for the firemen, muggle people who put fires out.Wow, this is very in depth! I'm so glad you practice Fire safety this throughly, Miss Monolayre. Flames = 10 Points, Paper = 10 points. Teagan gently set down her black quill, softly blew on the parchment, and meticulously read over it. To her, it sounded good enough, but where to put her jar and paper? It didn't look like there was enough room on the teacher's edible desk for everyone's assignment.
"Professor Divine," came Teagan's soft voice, "where are we supposed to put the assignment when we're done?" Her jar of enchanted fire's ashen blue glow was calmly floating around in it's container. It appeared to float because it wasn't actually burning anything, and was a gas, after all.

Aridan was reading the other half of the assignment. Two paragraphs on fire safety in the home. Though the matter was tricky sense he came from a muggle home and the only two magical beings in the home was his twin and himself. Both knew how to handle magical flames and normal ones threw the years of practice or magical training they both had received. Aridan decided to put the muggle method first then add what he and his sister arranged in the house incase of magical fires. Both were 17 so legal to use magic at home, of course their parents where to be the only ones in the home if they are to perform magic. Aridan dipped his quill into the ink well and began to write his essay on the Fire safety methods of his home. Aridan Triton, Ravenclaw Wizarding and Muggle Fire Safety We practice our Muggle Fire drill once every month. We have smoke alarms, muggle devices used to detect smoke, in every room of the house that we do not need fire in, normally the kitchen of course. We check the devices every month to be sure they work. Unlike most muggle homes our smoke alarms are not wired into the Muggle security systems installed into our home. We have routes we take, and a method of testing doors to see if the room behind it is on fire. We place our hand on the door and if it is warm or hot we know not to enter. Also we have a spot outside the house at a safe distance from the house to meet so we know we are all safe.
Me and my sister Arella have made magical fires in our home and because we want only the best for each other and our parents we set up a few Magical Fire Safety plans. My parents know not to mess with anything me and my sister are cooking, without asking if it is a magical fire first. Also we have a list of Fire Extinguishing charms in the kitchen on a fire proof board so incase of a fire we can handle it. We also make sure out fires are always watched by one of us. Incase of a Magical fire we can not control we have a escape route out of the house, if this is blocked we have a secondary and then of course the windows on the first floor. I do not say that to be funny because it is a serious matter, if the door to a room is hot and we can not leave threw the door we must make due with the window. In the case of the second floor we try not to use the windows, but we do have a door to the added on garage, a place that muggle’s house their cars, muggle transportation vehicles, in which we use to get out.
But of course the best way to keep safe is to always know what you’re doing, do not try a new fire charm unless you are completely sure of the results you would be best to expect. And of course keep muggles away from magical fires and normal ones as well That was a lovely paper Mr. Triton, It held lots of good information. If you could get a bit more indepth on your next paper (describe a bit more) I'd be most greatful. Flames = 10 Points, Paper = 8 points Aridan felt a little stupid because of the essay he had just finished with. He knew he could have done better but he didn’t know who to word it. And because of this he was sure he would get a passing grade but not the one he wanted most. He waited for the Professor to answer Teagan so he would know what to do.
