Hayzie dropped the feather as soon as Professor Divine began walking over, and put her wand back in her pocket quickly, hiding it from view. It was obvious the Professor knew what she had done... otherwise how would she have been able to know she had done it?
"Bless you, Professor. And yes, I'm one of them. Hayzie Roberts, Professor."
At the offer of finding something more challenging to levitate, Hayzie tried to move her feet... only to find they were stuck to the floor. Somehow, they wouldn't move in the slightest. Then, she had a flashback to the Professor's sneeze. She had hidden a Charm in there. "Busted," the blonde whispered under her breath, crossing her arms casually, but turning a little red as Professor Divine walked away. Boy oh boy... this could be one Professor who could be difficult to perform pranks on others behind her back...

Ashlle looked worriedly at Professor Divine.
"It says swish and flick, but what is a swish and flick? What does it look like?" she asked, puzzled, tapping the Ball of down in an irritated way.

"It's really quite simple," said Merry happy to help the small first year. "Please follow my motion."
Merry demonsteated the movement for Ashlle twice, once slowly and then quicker.
"Swiiiish and flick. Once more, faster this time, Swish and flick."

Hayzie rolled her eyes discreetly. It looked like she was stuck this way until the end of lesson... at least this gave her chance to start her homework in class. Pulling out a piece of parchment and a sugar quill from her bag, the blonde began to suck slightly on the quill, figuring out what to write. If she could get this piece of homework done in class, then there was a little less to do before rounds tonight.

Ashlle carefully copied the Teachers motion with her own wand. Finally she tried to levitate the fluff ball again. ~ "Wingardium Leviosa" ~ Ever so slowly the ball began to float upwards. Ashlle smiled. This was a piece of cake! Ashlle made it float higher and higher. Dovie look! she thought but at that moment the ball fell from the air and landed on Professor Divine's head with out a sound. It must really be a cat toy then if it was so soft. "I'm sorry Professor!" cried Ashlle mortified.

"It's fine, don't worry!" said Merry picking the Fluff ball out of her Lilac hair and placing it on Miss Ashlle's desk. "Just so long as no one is hurt, you’re fine. I think you've got the hang of this now. If you will excuse me I have some sneakers to un-stick." Merry smiled at Miss Ashlle, and walked back to where Miss Roberts was trying to do her paper.
"Sorry about that." she apologized, as she unstuck Miss Roberts shoes from the floor with the counter-charm. "I usually don't mind Pranks at all but in a classroom setting, well, my Professors told me never to allow it."
"If you are really that bored, perhaps you'd like some advanced privet instruction? It was also a rule in my Advanced Classes never to let a student be bored, for if they were bored they weren’t learning. What do you say, sound good?"

Advanced instruction? Was she, Hayzie Roberts, the person who was apparently rarely seen doing homework, actually being offered private advanced instruction? For a few moments, her eyes blinked in surprise. Maybe she had made a good impression out of a bad one, after all.
Shaking off the surprise, and remembering Charms was a choice she had made for her NEWTs which she needed to pass next year, the blonde girl nodded. "Yes, that would be great!" Hayzie replied, her eyes sparkling again. Maybe she would pass Charms with flying colours rather than the normal colours she was expecting.
Moving her feet so she was sitting on them instead of them being on the floor where anyone could stick them again, Hayzie smiled up at the Professor, her boredom disappearing very quickly.

"All right then!" she smiled as if they'd finally understood each other. "When and where is good for you? Also if you wish to being one or two friends who are 'bored-to-pranks' as well you may." Merry pulled out her Appointments pad and flipped to an empty page.
Takeing a quill out from the inside of her robes she asked; "May I use your ink?"

Prof. B had never offered this... mind you, none of the other Professors probably thought Hayzie Roberts would ever take up the offer of extra classes. Pushing the ink towards the Professor, Hayz thought quickly over her morning and evening schedules. Two evenings a week, Thursday and Monday were Prefect round nights where she could be up all night, and afternoon rounds were on Tuesdays and Fridays... "Weekends and Wednesdays are best," Hayzie explained, trying to think of where she could swap rounds with someone if need be. "And where ever's easiest, I suppose."

Merry gently dipped her pen in the ink and wrote this information down. "Well, I could possibly see you the first time this Wednesday. Once we have that first class we can scedual the next one. Since you don't have a preferance how about we just have the Lessons here in my Classroom?" She smiled at Miss Roberts, a puckish twinkle in her eyes. This really was as challenging a Dumbledore had made it out to be.

Hayzie nodded once, making a mental note to make a note of it next to her bed before she climbed in that night. "Sounds good to me," she smiled. "But... no one would expect me to be taking extra lessons... so can we keep this quiet?" Hayz whispered, her smile growing sheepish.
Although she wanted to do well, the blonde still had a reputation to upkeep.

"Oh" said Merry immediately lowering her voice to a whisper. "Yes of course! No one needs to know anything." and she made a ssssh face and tiptoed on to the next student.

Dovie smiled as Stella came in and nodded towards the board before turning to congradulate Ashlle. She gave a full-hearted, warm smile when Professor Divine also congradulated Ashlle at the same moment and chuckled just slightly. Want to work on homework together, Ashlle..? Dovie thought over. She was sure it was allowed, she'd always been allowed to do homework in class as a study tool with friends at her other schools. I just can't seem to think much right now, my brain must've dried up without any school for so long.. Dovie smiled warmly again. What do ya say?

Sylph looked up from chewing on her quill to see a familiar red-haired girl, looking down at her with a slightly friendlier expression than the last time they met. Sylph was glad, that night hadn't been the best of times to get to know someone; at least Teagan wasn't intentionally insulting and riling her now.
"Alright Teagan? Hows it goin'?" she said, her green eyes twinkling slightly, before looking at the box that she had levitated across the room.
"Uh, sorry 'bout that, too," she added, grinning a little. "My charm work always seems to get away from me. I can do it properly though! Just watch." She pointed her wand at the paper aeroplane that lay on her desk, wingardium leviosa-ed it and sent it fluttering above their heads with ease. Maintaining her charm, Sylph looked back at Teagan.
"Sorry to bring this up," she said in a hushed voice. "But you haven't heard anything else about Danawi have you? That's the guy responsible for our memory loss - I'm guessin' that very large cat you described works for him.
"Oh, and while I remember," she added. "You don't know a girl called Billie, do you? Dovie said we need to find her, and that she might know you." Sylph looked apologetically at the emotionless girl, her peridot green gaze meeting a stony red one. "I wouldn't ask, only it's important."
