Silver paused while Lottie chased after the Ravenclaws to tie her hair back – it was beginning to get on her nerves. After doing so she gripped her broom firmly and shot forward, surprising the Ravenclaw Seeker so much they almost fell off their broom.
Silver smiled grimly, and swerved yet another Bludger – they seemed to be paying the Chasers special attention in this match.

Wyl sped around the pitch, encouraging the Puffs on distractedly as he searched, pushing the SpelloTaped glasses up his nose a little higher.
"Good work guys, don't let them get you down!" Wyl roared as he flew past them, the wind flying past his ears was loud and he wasn't sure if the girls would hear him or not.

Hufflepuffs already scored 10, and where were the rest of the Ravenclaw team? Dylan pushed those thoughts from his head as he scoured the pitch and surrounding area airspace for the small golden snitch. His pupils darted about until he caught of a Hufflepuff chaser who knowingly was persued by a golden sphere of reflected light, out of the corner of his eye. Jolting to the right, and stearing his broom fiercely, Dylan dove for it. Screaming ever closer it did exacting what Dylan expected it to do. The snitch speed off once again, leaving Dylan wheezing in it's tracks.
Damn, that things faster than I thought!

"Careful!" Lottie called out to Silver. Never had she thought bludgers would be quite this much trouble. Seeing her team-mate missing the ball, the brunette girl swerved around a few bludgers, and beaters lithely to scoop the ball up in her arms again. This was almost a walk in the park. The 'Claw chasers seemed to be giving the game away.... Maybe they were waiting. Not giving them the chance, Lottie began heading back towards the other end of the pitch.

It had been almost five whole minutes without Hufflepuff being in possession of the Quaffle, and Silver had a strange feeling the Ravenclaws were almost playing with them. They were tossing the Quaffle to and fro in an almost casual manner, but blocking any attacks they might receive from the opposing team. Suddenly, a memory began to flare in Silver’s mind… she had read about this… the team acted as though nothing was going to happen and then while the other team began to get restless and distracted, they would suddenly head right for the goal!
As this thought occurred to her, it happened – a Ravenclaw broke away from their safe circle at lightning speed and shot towards the Hufflepuff Keeper. Silver tore after the girl, desperately willing her broom to keep up.
And – a miracle! The Quaffle was knocked out of the Ravenclaw’s hands by a sweeping Bludger. Silver caught it and raced away, flashing a quick smile at the Hufflepuff Beaters before passing to Lottie.

Lottie caught the ball from Silver easily. There was no problems. A perfect pass.
Now... clear space. That was what Lottie needed, and that was what she had been granted. The quaffle was neatly tucked under her arm, and had no chance of slipping out. Now was her chance. Now was her chance to shine. There were no Ravenclaw players to block her way at that moment. All she had to do was aim this right, not get stopped by the goalkeeper, and that was it. Her moment of glory. Never did she think it would be found on a quidditch pitch. The stage had always been the place before.
Crouching over her broom handle and willing it to go faster, the hoops grew larger and larger in her eyes until she was close enough to aim effectively…. And a few seconds later, the ball was through the centre hoop, the goalkeeper left entirely helpless. “Gotcha!” Lottie whispered to herself, grinning. She had done it. She had scored her first ever goal!

Another Quaffle went through the Ravenclaw hoops, Hufflpuff had scored again. ”HUFFLEPUFF 20, RAVENCLAW 0!”

Wyl grinned and whooped madly with the crowd. She'd done it, scored a goal. He was hugely proud of her and offered her a wink as he flew past, still searching for the ever elusive Snitch.

“Yes! Yes yes yes!” squealed Silver excitedly as Lottie scored her first goal.
She allowed herself a tight loop-the-loop before reforming with her team, each of the bright yellow-clad players grinning as stupidly as the other. She imagined a crowd of canaries grinning madly, and this caused even more inner hysterics – she tried to keep herself from chuckling as the whistle blew, and the game was in play once again.

Still grinning madly to herself, Lottie flew faster than she ever had, and pushed herself further. Now she had done it once, the brunette was more than ready to go for second helpings.
Nodding to a beater on the other side of a Ravenclaw chaser, Lottie watched as the black ball was sent in her direction forcefully, knocking her off course in a panic, and doing just what Lottie had hoped. The ball was dropped.
Giving a little wave to the chaser who was still steadying her broom, Lottie scooped up the Quaffle once more and began soaring back into the air.
Now, this was business. They were ahead. They could win this!
If only Wyl could find the snitch...
clearing these thoughts out of her mind, Lottie concentrated on aiming the ball to Silver, who was closer to the hoops.

Almost out of nowhere, a Bludger came hurtling and thwacked Silver on the skull.
She cried out in pain and held her broom tightly, determined not to fall off, but the entire Pitch was fading in and out of her vision…<br> No, she thought desperately, I will not let myself be taken off… We have to be a whole team to win this together!
Shaking her head, she flew uneasily forward, her dazed eyes scanning in search of whoever had possession of the Quaffle, ignoring the trickle of blood that ran slowly down the side of her face.

Wyl's eyes widened in alarm as he turned around and saw Silver thwacked by the Bludger. He signalled frantically at Claire for a time out for flew over to Silver.
"Silver, are you all right?" He clutched her arm and slowly guided her to the ground. "Just relax, come on, Claire will check you out," He glanced up at Claire hopefully and helped Silver off her broom.

"Look, I'm fine," muttered Silver angrily, trying to shake Wyl's arm from her - she had to keep playing! There was nothing more important than winning this game!

Time out. Just what she needed. Lottie flew back towards the ground, and paled at the sight of Silver. Maybe playing quidditch wasn't such a good idea after all.
"Are you okay?" she asked, breathlessly as she reached her team-mates, already knowing the answer.

Claire saw the blood fall from Silver. Whipping her wand out of her robes, she flicked it in the Hufflepuff girls direction.
The cut healed quickly, the blood disappeared and all haziness left the girl feeling fine and ready to continue with the game.
