Zee was lost within the conflagarations. Both fire and rain. Insanely, a song of the same sort started to echo through her head. I've seen fire and I've seen rain I seen sunny days that I thought would never end I seen lonely times when I could not find a friend But I always thought that I'd see you again. Her relative position to Kezaa meant that she was fairly well protected from the fire. However, the rain from Ashlle's spell thoroughly soaked her. Short, white hair now plastered to her head, Zee belatedly pointed her wand at herself, uttering, "Impervius." The water avoided her from then on. Now she just had to figure out what she could do to help. It seemed that Kezaa, Shae, and Ashlle were handling the demon fairly easily, though. Zee felt rather like a hairbrush that belonged to a bald man: useless.

Feeling the first drops fall through her, the phantom guessed what Ashlle had it mind, and stepped up to be at a level with Kezaa's shoulder, not disturbing the water flow at all by her icy touch.
Watching the water, and the scene through it, from her position in the air, it occurred to the spectre that there were definitely better ways Ashlle could have handled this.
But as the wave crashed around the demon prince, the phantom headed for the water pile-up, reaching her hand in, freezing the water over as she did so.
She circled the water tower twice, until it was a huge, solid tower of ice. Then she stepped back to survey her handiwork. The prison might hold him for hours, it might hold him for minutes, but now he would have to melt the ice to get out. Ice that thick couldn't be shattered, not even by a demon.

OOC: Well, I put -bump- because I thought Laharl would post himself busting out of the prison or melting it or whatever, but since he's not . . .
BIC: Ashlle stopped holding her breath when she was sure that what she'd seen had actually happened.
"Wow! I can't believe it, we stopped Laharl!" she said in an awed voice. The she turned to the ghostly Shae. "You are amazing! I need to learn how to put my Individual elements together to form ice like you can. That was totally cool -er- please excuse the pun it was unintentional."
She blushed, in the cold air that now pervaded the Dueling Hall it looked like her cheeks had become rosy from the weather she and Shae had made. She turned to Kezaa and asked; "How long do you think this will hold him?"

"I'm not all that confident that it is holding him. Have a closer look." The ghost said, not believing for so much as a second that the demon had been stopped. It looked more to her like he'd just disappeared, he certainly couldn't be seen through the ice.
She turned back to look at everyone else, wet through, and then at Ashlle.
"Ice comes from me not because I want it to, but because I'm part of the ether, which is frozen, and tries to freeze everything I touch. I just use it." The phantomess said, looking through her own hand before curling it into a soft fist.

"I figured it was something like that" said Ashlle of Shae's remark about her Ice power.
"Still if he's not in there I wonder why he isn't attacking? Perhaps we aught to search the room for him." she looked at her friends and suddenly imagined them getting hurt.
"Strike that, it's my responsibility, I'll search for him." and she started to circle the ice tower making bigger and bigger circles so she wouldn't miss anything that might be a clue.

The small phantom sighed at Ashlle.
It was exhausting just to watch her, and she was getting more and more tired all the time.
"You do that, I think I'll head off." The ghost said, her sword vanishing into the ether again, and she vanished into the ceiling.
ooc: dodgy I know, but I'm tired of this thread, so I'm out.

After Ashlle had 'secured the perimeter' She sent Vivian Tenahu to the nearest BFC outpost, -which happened to be right outside Hogsmeade village- with a massage. ~First Quarry neutralized. Please send backup to fetch Quarry for Destruction. Bring muscle.~ The BFC came sooner than Ashlle expected. Never has she seen other BFC members before. They on the other hand didn't seem to care how small Ashlle was or that such a small hunter had encased her Quarry in a pillar of ice. One of them however came up to her. "Fill out this form and send it in with your report on how this all occurred." he told her handing her the papers. "We can't proceed with the Destruction until your report is in." "Er, yes sir." said Ashlle. The Hunter turned away. "Er - Sir?" he turned back to face her again. " I just wanted to say be careful. I heard he's shifty as hell." For the first time the man smiled. "They all are my, dear Hunter. They all are."

(OOC) Uggh, I have no excuses. You guys must think I'm terrible.
(BIC) Sopping wet, Kez was rocked to a nearby wall by the sudden torrent of water that struck the room. He then slid down into the watery depths, blacking out.
Later, he sputtered up some water that was in his lungs. Apparently even the likes of he wasn't unsuseptible to surprises like that. And neither was Laharl.
"Well Ashlle, it looks like you've become a very impressive fighter." Kez said, slowly rising to his feet. "I've been out of it for a while, huh? Well, I'll let you wrap things up here. I have some other business to attend to." Kez said distantly, shaking his head a bit to let the water run out, and brushing his jacket off.
"Keep getting better, and call on me if you ever need anything." Kez said in a promising tone as he stepped out.

Ashlle was appalled at herself for not realizing her teacher had been knocked out. However before she could apologize he was shaking it off and walking away!
"But . . . My report!" said Ashlle, but it was too late. He was either very angry with her or he really was very busy. "Aww pu" Ashlle turned to Zee. "Will you help me with my report?" she asked. "I need a witness to sign it and I really haven't a clue what to write anyway."
OOC: You are NOT terrible. You are simply busy. I think I will now find Zee to help me write my report to the BFC.
