OOC: Yeah it's ok Kezaa. Just think, my Mojo and yours must be having a party somewhere together.
IC: Ashlle looked perplexed at Zee hoping she wasn't as silly when she'd not known how to sword fight, still She said nothing knowing most likely she HAD been that silly.
" Since we are all on different levels, maybe we should take turn being taught." she suggested. She knew she'd most likely be last but that didn't matter to her so much as long as she got something accomplished.

The ghost looked at the first year again.
To the phantom the young red-head had a look in her eye and a set to her jaw that said she'd stick to what she put her mind to, that was obvious, but more subtle was her stance as a sensible person.
"I agree with you Ashlle." She said, meaning it, but saying it slowly as if she almost didn't believe that she believed it.
"I'm going to try and get a sword I can work with, so I'll wait till last. I really want to keep skill sharp, that's all." And she could learn as much from watching the others as she could from practicing herself.
She didn't doubt in the least that Kezaa had more tricks up his sleeve than he would share with everyone, but nearly everyone had a few tricks that they'd keep to themselves, including her.
The ghost moved away from the group and tried again to create a sword from the ether. If she could create it, it should stay with her once it was made, with no effort. Creating the sword, and making it sharp to those who lived as well as those who didn't, would be the hardest part.
A small silver fire bloomed in her hand again as the girl forgot about her troublesome purple hair and closed her bright green eyes in concentration. The light grew away from her, and became sharp.

(OOC) The Head Boy sends his regards. And Kez, if you needed something to spark up your RPing mojo, you could have just asked. *Grins devilishly*
(BIC) So very amusing. I look about as young as you kids, so can I play?
The cryptic, raspy voice rang out within that crowded area of the hall, the tone of the voice offering no hint of caring as to whether or not the children were willing to comply with his rhetorical question. If they were really so gung-ho on facing this Danawi character on their terms, then the demonic presence could only ponder how they would fare when they were unprepared. Chances were, this was going to turn to a bloodbath.
As if plucking himself from an invisible hole in midair, a tiny demon with a furrowing moptop of indigo hair climbed out and dropped softly to his feet on the ground. His dull, rust colored eyes lazily inspected each human with a hint of bored arrogance, stopping with a mere scoff as he eyed the young female with the red curly hair. He had heard rumors a while back that he had a reward on his head from several different Ministries, none impoirtant enough to remember.
"So you think you're ready to fight a war? Let's see how you fare when you're struggling for your lives." the demon boy said, his body shrouded in a long, dirty, tattered cloak that reached the ground.

ooc: Yeesh. And here I thought I was going to have a relatively calm rp with Kezaa. Do you know if he will be coming on soon, Laharl?
(IC) "Actually, we're here because we aren't ready. That's an interesting ensemble you've got going there." Zee said, putting up a pretense of friendliness. She gestured to the rather worn cloak adorning his shoulders. This wasn't exactly how she'd thought this practice would go, but... Despite her nonchalant manner, she'd brought both her sword and wand up in front of her, and was balancing on the balls of her feet. Zee was suddenly reminded of the fights she'd gotten into at her Muggle School. She was sure though, that regular street fighting wasn't going to help her here. Unless the demon reacted in a mortal way to being kneed in the crotch. She quickly sorted through the spells she'd learned, and picked an offensive and a defensive spell, just to be ready.

Ashlle staired like she'd just walked into a dream. This was the Demon that Kezaa had delivered the letter about - wasn't it? She shook her head. Now how did she know that?! Was it the Hunters Instinct emerging? The Demon hadn't even said his name! But if this was Laharl she must do her duty and tell him he was a wanted -er- Demon.
"Sir" she began, unsure of how to address him, this being her first assingment and all. "Are you the Demonic Prince known as Laharl?

A sword.
Opening her eyes carefully, the ghost thought she might actually have one she could use now, and carefully tucked it into her belt when she heard the words "Demonic Prince". The ghost slowly turned her head to look at him.
"In a fight against a demon, one would have to be the epitome of fighting skill and ability to last more than a few minutes, and smart on top of that to walk away from the fight." If anyone in the room knew what it was like to fight a demon for their life, then she would.
That was the fight that had caused her to find a new life in the ether. Even her etherial form had a scar across her neck through which the demoness Mai had ripped her heart.
"Highness?" She said, both addressing the demon, and quering as to if that was actually him. A small bow executed as she said it.

(OOC) Oh, he's around. But as you probably could guess, he's been in desperate need of motivation as of late. So here I am. (BIC) The pint-sized, punkish prince allowed a broad line widen across his lips as he tilted his chin up in a somewhat surprised gesture. The spectral figure apparently had some manners, if not gained in her previous life, then certainly in her current one. Tiny brat he may have been, but Laharl was a curiously bright demon. He wondered just how much integrity this girl possessed. "That's the name, insects. And please, no begging for your lives today. I'm really not in the best of moods." Laharl uttered with a menacing tone, crossing his arms in contempt. One of the girls already stood poised for an attack, though he held a giggle at how much good that would actually do her if he actually outwardly attacked her. As for the young redhead, it seemed she already had him pegged. "And there's no need for further introductions, since you chumpettes' names aren't important enough to remember." intentionally choosing not to distinguish sexes, he waited for the Head Boy, pondering what he intended to do about this.

Silent. Kezaa stood there amidst the group, his fists clenching ever tighter with each moment that passed. Under that gentle and short mane of blonde hair was chissled a deep scowl, and a light smog perpetuated from his eyes, indenting a light pink color in each of his irises. He looked up with an unusual, almost unnerving casualness in light of the demon's perpetual threat of his very presence.
"You, child, are out of line. I ought to give you a spanking." His words passed through his lips as Kez looked up, his irises trailing down threateningly towards the inchling prince. To the best of everyone's knowledge, Kez had come only with the wooden bokken he had laid a short distance away. And yet, his jacket jingled and clanged with a tell-tale promise of an otherwise more dangerous presence beneath.
(OOC) Please excuse the shortness. That's the best I can do for now.

OOC: Kezaa! *glompage* Glad you could make it!
IC: Zee was shaken to the very core of her soul by Kezaa's reply. She turned slowly to look at him, pint-sized demon prince forgotten. Never, in all her dealings with him, had he ever given her the impression he was now. His eyes had changed as well as his manner. Obeying her instinct, she slowly inched out of his view, and took up a position behind him. Wanting to trust him, and not all together sure she could. Zee fought with her fear, trying to restore some semblence of calm. Finally managing it, she made the conscious decision to stick with Kezaa, wand and training sword at the ready. She trusted Kezaa, she told herself fiercly.

The ghost unhesitatingly moved to stand beside Kezaa, not caring that he radiated calm, controlled rage. It was an emotion she was used to, and knew how to deal with it. She'd felt it often herself, the ramifications were almost always painful to those at whom the emotion was directed.
"Well, Sire, I find that terribly bad manners. Names are important. Mine was Shadow, everyone calls me Shae. Only reason I'm dead is because I didn't care about living." The phantom said in a "Tsk tsk" voice, as if reprimanding a child. As far as the dead girl was concerned, that was all she was doing.
An expert hand raised the saber, ready to do something that someone was going to regret.
"How many tricks do you keep up your sleves? I keep at least three at all times." The etherial being said quietly, as a wind only she could feel played menacingly with her hair.

"I was afraid of that,” muttered Ashlle, and she took a parchment out of her pocket. She had written this small speech to include everything the BFC required the Quarry (who some had the arrogance to call the Prey) to know.
"By order of the BFC you 'Prince Laharl of the Underworld' are under Arrest for the willful destruction of many lives and properties. You have the right to a non-eternal attorney. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do can and will be used against you in a Non-eternal court of magical law. That being said-” Ashlle now rolled up her parchment and stuck it in her pocket.
“-With the power invested in me -Ashlle G. Rainier Level Ten Assassin for the BFC- I move that we do this another time. I’m sure you have more important places to be than fighting a lowly Tenth rate Assassin, her unofficial teacher, and her two friends. I’m sure –if it please your Highness- that if you were to wait a while they would send a more experienced Assassin after you that might actually be worthy of your greatness.” And here –though it killed her to do so- she too curtsied to the Demon prince.

The redhead was quite perceptive indeed. Of course, she probably noticed that she had lost his attention about four seconds or so into the rights she was reciting to him. This was evident by the way Laharl abscent-mindedly began picking his nose with his pinky.
"I'm sorry?" he inquired, mockingly snapping back to attention to the group before him. It seemed that the spectral figure was actually there to hone her skills as well, and they were ever present indeed. It took a strong constitution to manipulate her ethreal and ectoplasmic energies just to hold a sword in her hand. He actually held quite a bit of respect for this girl, though no one in a million years would ever guess.
"I don't think you understand, little girl....." he rasped, the demon boy's eyes now glinting a murderous red. Just as the Head Boy reacted to his powers, Laharl was reacting as well.
"When I say 'not in the best of moods', that usually pretains to just waking up one day and hating everything." at that moment, both his palms flared with two awakening orbs of fire, sizzling at the air around them at his sides.
"What I'm trying to say is, you ladies really should have stayed in bed today!" Laharl then locked his arms forward, and sent a huge seering blast of energy straight at the group.

Kez tilted his head over his shoulder perplexidly, denoting how none of the girls seemed even remotely intimidated by this creature whom stood before them. And yet, they appeared to be very aware of the inpending threat that loomed before them as the ragged little black thing stood before them. Still, he hoped that if this little monster really was looking for a fight, then he would be the only one here that would have to get his hands dirty.
Of course, Ashlle stood poised and ready to fulfill her duties. She certainly had more courage than Kezzy did at her age. And Shadow, well, she was a ghost. So of course it was hard to be scared of anything that existed on this plane of reality. But all the same, he was more than moved by the quiet confidence that illuminated those brilliant sea-green irises of hers. And Zee, well..... she seemed a tad shaken, probably by Kezaa's reaction. He found himself wondering why he let himself act that way so easily. It was an old side of himself that he would sooner put behind, but alas.
His thoughts were quickly cut short by the demon as Laharl dispelled a massive amount of energy, instantly turning the stone room into an oven. Unsure if it would do any good to take the two 'living' girls in his arms and try to run, Kezaa took then next best option: his new weapon.
With a swing of his neck and the scraping of finely sharpened metal against the stone floor, sparks flew upward as his cape cut through the air, and also diverged the energy ball. Focusing his own energies with a silent encantation in his mind, the air particles began to move around with a gentle, sweeping breeze. While they unfortunately succeeded in adding more spark to this flame, it also helped pull it appart more easily.
Finishing the upward sweeping slash, the bladed fins nailed together could now be seen in Kezaa's tattered jacket, now glinting in the moonlight which streamed forth from the two new holes in the wall.

The ghost sighed at the futility of Ashlle's recitation. Demons didn't have a reputation for giving themselves over to those who were trying to do the right thing.
Then the runtish prince explained what an angry demon looked like, and she almost shut her eyes in fear. She couldn't though.
She couldn't feel the heat, but she remembered very well how the flames of hell had felt when she was fighting for her life, but night in the forest was a bit different to here and now. There was also that she was encased in a frozen moment in the ether, and emmited an icey chill of her own.
Which really only meant that the person nearest her didn't feel the heat quite as much.
The phantom wouldn't deny that she was impressed by the weapon Kez was holding, she was, but she wouldn't try and create one for herself.
"Highness, if you would excuse yourself, for now, this really isn't a place for demon royalty." The dead girl said, holding her blade calmly at the ready.

The moment Ashlle realized what was happening she proceeded to 'Hit the dirt'. Thusly laying prone on the floor only the back of her robes caught fire. However this was not much of a problem, for she was already calling the rains in thought the open window. By the time Keeza had dispelled the Fireball Rain was pouring down on the whole room including Ashlle's burning robes, neatly putting them out before they even got close to her.
"I tried being Nice" she whispered quietly to herself as she regained her feet. "now for Naughty."
Puddles were already filling the Dueling Hall's Floors Ashlle quickly pulled her wand and performed a Ancient water charm she'd found in the book 'Demigods - What Muggles were Actually Seeing'. Then she immediately put her wand back and smiled at Laharl being careful to make it seem she knew something he did not. This was one of the main rules of Dueling in her BFC handbook.
As the waters began to rise Ashlle called wind forth to form them into large waves with Laharl at their center. Being a fire demon, this aught to do it. Ashlle thought Unless he fleas out the window, or has other powers (which is probably the case). I hope the others can swim or at lease hold their breath for 10 seconds. at that moment the waves crashed, filling the room with swirling water.
