"Oh gods, oh gods, oh gods... they're going to be here soon... oh gods, oh gods, oh gods..."
Carrie, as per usual, was running around the hospital wing like a headless chicken, though this time for a much different reason than usual. Kasey had managed to find two replacements for her while she was on maternity leave, and Carrie had somehow, in the space of a few days, managed to get the hospital wing into the most unorganised room in the school.
The few patients in the wing watched her with amused looks as she tried to find spare lab coats, clip boards, quills, parchment, lollies, medical journals, and a patient's cat that had managed to worm its way into the wing without her noticing.
"Since when did cats know where the hospital wing was?!" The brunette nurse asked herself frustratedly, making another dive to try and retreive it at the same time as trying to find the piece of parchment Kasey had, for some unknown reason, trusted her with. It had the two replacement's names written on them, and now, Carrie had gone and lost them.
"Gotcha!!" Carrie cheered as she pulled the parchment out of her pocket, and ran over to the door, making another dive to try and retreive the cat, without much luck, but banging her head on the doorframe in the process. "Owie..." she mumbled, giving up on the cat for now.
The wing was still a mess, and the two would be here before long. "Fantastical," she sighed, standing back up giddily. "What will they think?"

Elorra had been passing the hospital wing when she jumped by the sound of something hard hitting the doorframe "What the?" exclaimed Elorra holding her hand lighting over her heart. Walking back over to the doors, Elorra gently opened one, dodging down quickly to scoop up a cat trying to make its way out "Belong to anyone?" Elorra asked a quite fustrated Carrie

Carrie looked towards the doors as Elorra opened them and gave a small smile. "How'd you do that? I've been running around after it for half an hour!" Shaking her head, and laughing a little, she looked around.
"Be honest with me, Elorra... does this place look organised to you?" In all honesty, the brunette wouldn't believe her if she had said yes. Everything Kasey usually kept neat and tidy was all over the place as students began coming in with colds due to the quick change in weather. Hayfever was still common, too, and something she couldn't seem to get rid of.
And if one more student came in in the middle of the night after being outside... she wasn't going to be happy.
"I think the cat belongs to a Gryffindor student... it managed to get in here somehow..."

Elorra gave the cat a lazy scratch behind the ear "After chasing Midnight around the place, who is bigger and can knock you down harder. This little guy was easy" smiled Elorra and looking back up at Carrie and the room around here
"Huracan Carrie?" Elorra asked refuring to the slight un organised hospital wing "Kind of reminds me of my room during the summer" laughed Elorra "That's when I get lazy" she added walking over to the burnette nurse

"Something like that," Carrie laughed as Elorra suggested a hurricane had happened. It certainly looked like it. "I was trying to tidy," she explained, somewhat not believing herself as she looked around the room, some of the patients stiffling giggles in their bed covers.
"Kasey'll kill me when she gets back.. keep this our secret?" the brunette asked, her eyes pleading as she looked back at Elorra. "Amy Stevens and Ashlle Rainier are coming in to help while she's away, and I can tidy up while they're helping.. but Kasey'll still kill me...."

"Well if she does. I'll just have to remind her of the summer we went away together" smiled Elorra "Nither of us wanted to look at that place for days" Elorra laughed "Either did my dad" giggled Elorra.
"Tell you what how about I help you. How does that sound?"

"Sounds better than being killed by dirty nappies," Carrie smiled, pleased with her choice of words. However, Elorra's own words caught her ears.
"What did happen?" the nurse asked, picking up some parchment and folders. "You didn't blow the place up between the two of you, did you?" she grinned.

Elorra laughed "You could say something like that happened" laughed Elorra "Lets just say that all three of us got a little bit carried away" said Elorra grinning sheepishly

"Aha! I knew Kasey was a rebel on the inside!" Carrie giggled, holding her pieces of parchment up as though it wa a trophy of somesort.
Continuing to go round, stopping to give one boy the potion he needed to take that morning, Carrie called back: "Do you know Amy or Ashlle?" Maybe she could get some inside info before they started.

Elorra nodded "They're both in my dorm. Have spoken to Ashlle a couple of times and Amy and I talk when ever we get the time" smiled Elorra and following Carrie around the room "And what exactly would you like me to do with this guy?" Elorra asked holding up the cat that was still in her arms

Well... a little inside info was better than none. They were both Gryffindors, that much was clear, and if Elorra spoke to them, they couldn't be that bad, could they? Hopefully they'd get along.
"I think it'd be best if he went back to the common room. I'm going to have to find something to keep pets away. They're not allowed in here, for obvious reasons..." she told Elorra, putting the sheets back over a sleeping student who had, by the looks of things, done a lot of tossing and turning in the night.
Looking at her watch, which read five to nine, her eyes widened. "Oh great, five minutes!!!! And the place is still... a mess!!!"
All of a sudden, Kasey's words came back into her mind. Stress less... she had advised. Laughing to herself, Carrie wondered if she would advise the same thing now. Probably not.

Ashlle arrived just then huffing and puffing. She had just received notification of her Nurse-hood form a very worn and slow looking owl that reminded her of a friends family owl named Errol.
She'd realized she must be late and threw on her school uniform, and grabbed her emergency 'Oh-no-I'm-Late' bag making hair brushing and face washing attempts along the way.
After she regained her breath, she said:
"I'm so sorry I'm late! Whom should I take care of - I mean care for first." Ashlle went red in the face. It sounded as if she was a Death Eater ready to take out the invalids. The Patients were gonna love that.

Carrie turned back as she heard someone huffing and puffing as they opened the door. Raising a brow, and looking at her watch, she looked back to the girl. "You're two minutes early," the brown haired nurse explained. Maybe she wasn't the only unorganised one... though this girl looked a bit more composed than she would in the same situation.
Suddenly, a shocked look came over her face. "Oh! I've forgotten my manners. My name's Carrie... Kasey's... second hand I suppose," she grinned, holding out her hand. "Everyone seems stable at the moment.. so we just need to wait for someone else, and then have a quick chat... then I need to do a little tidying," Carrie said sheepishly, casting another look around the Wing. A few days... thank the lord she wasn't on her own any more.

Ashlle smoothed her skirt and shook Miss Carrie's hand. "Thank goodness. The owl that delivered my summons looked like he was capable of flying backward he was so slow. Anyway I am Ashlle Rainier. Pleasure to meet you." Ashlle plopped her bag by the door and looked around at the giggling patients. Thank goodness they hadn't taken her comment to heart.
"While we wait, can I take a look at the inventory? Ever since I showed Kasey that potion (it seems like years ago) I've wondered if she's put a few more powerful potions into the closet." Ashlle suddenly realized she was being presumptuous. "Then again may be I ought to wait till the other person you were speaking of to get here." And she sat down on a chair by the door, that was used for visitors.

Carrie smiled. It seemed like Miss Rainier knew what she was doing. Maybe more so than Carrie. Maybe her job really was on the line and that's why they'd employed help. Shaking her head violently and trying to get the thoughts out of her mind, the brunette raised an eyebrow at the patients. "I thought you were ill. If you're well enough to giggle, you're well enough to go to class," she scolded, a slight playful tone to her voice. Turning back to Ashlle, Carrie said: "Would you like to put your things in the office? It's a bit of a mess at the moment, but I'm sure there's a spare patch of floor somewhere in there." ooc: Sorry for shortness of posts...
