OOC: Hey no problem! As you can see I'm not the best at making the posts long myself. I have to go to Class now but I'll try to get back sometime today, if not I'll be here tomorrow.
BIC: Ashlle nodded "Thank you Miss Carrie" Taking up her bag, she disappeared into the Office. While she was in there she discovered a Nursing apron that fit her and dutifully put it on. Then she put her bag on an empty shelf deciding to leave it there just in case she ever did come in late.

ooc: I'll try to make this as good as possible, I'm a bit giddy right now. ^^
bic:
With a sigh, Amy had watched through her bedroom window as the owl had flown around the grounds, searching for the person with whom it was supposed to leave the thin letter it grasped tightly in its claws. She was surprised, however, when the ruffled grey owl landed on her windowsill and hooted loudly in a demanding tone for her to open her window. Astonished, for she hadn't had a letter in ages, Amy pulled on the wooden frame until it gave way, causing the glass to raise slightly and the little bird to crouch through the opening.
It dropped the letter on Amy's pillow, before hooting to her again in a more dignified manner and hopping out, headed for the Owlery. Knowing now that it was probably a school owl and nothing more, she did not expect the good news that fell from the manilla envelope.
"'You have been accepted to be a Temp. Nurse at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, starting Wednesday, September 7th.'"
As she read it outloud, a grin spread over her face. She had been looking for a job for almost two months now, and the notice in the library searching for fill-ins for Kasey while she was on maternity leave had seemed too good to be true. But true it was, and Amy had signed up alongside a large number of hopefuls for a chance at the job.
And she had gotten it! Elated, Amy stood up and walked over to her bureau, a slight spring in her step, where she picked out a set of simple but pretty blue robes that accented her hair and eyes, and a pair of clean socks. After she quickly dressed, she pulled her hair back in an artfully messy bun, deemed herself acceptable in the mirror, and dashed off to the Hospital Wing.
When she arrived, she spotted her friend Elorra chatting with two other girls she hadn't yet met: a young but pretty red-head and a brunette whom she assumed to be the other nurse Kasey had told her about.
"Hello! How are you all today?" She asked happily, beaming at the two women before her.

OOC: you are so much better than me at this. *jealousy, jealousy*
BIC: Having put her things away Ashlle came out of the office to find her new counterpart had arrived. "Have we met somewhere before?" she asked, the new girl seemed very familiar. "I am Ashlle Rainier, pleased to make your acquaintance." and she curtsied prettily to her.
Turning to Miss Carrie she smiled and smoothed her new apron. "Wasn't there something you wished to say to both of us? I'm pretty sure I remember you saying something of the sort when I came in."

ooc: -uber blush- Thanks for the compliment, but I don't really think so. I just have no life, so I can sit for half an hour and compose a big long post. x-x
bic: Amy smiled a bit wider as the red-headed girl walked back into the room and introduced herself with a dainty curtsy.
"I am sorry to say that your name and face don't ring any bells for me, but I hope that will change in the near future. My name is Amy Stevens, and it's wonderful to meet you."
At Ashlle's comment to Carrie, Amy turned to face the brunette. "Oh, good, I was hoping you hadn't started without me. I'm sorry I'm so late, by the way, but my dorm has been a mess lately."
Amy reached a hand up to her hair and pulled out the elastic band that held it up, sliding it onto her wrist where she fidgeted with it while waiting for Carrie to show them around. Amy had been to the Hospital Wing on numerous occasions, but had always been the one in the white linen beds, all wrapped up like a small child's play thing. She had had medical training, of course, because her grandfather wouldn't have had it any other way. But a nurse had not been something she had seen herself doing on a job basis. But this was a job, even if she was just a temp, and Amy would take whatever she could get.
