Guess who's back?

[Dakota Scheving]

OOC: hello all! Did you miss me? I apologize for the long absense, but I've decided to come back. I have, however, also PMed Wilting Rose, asking her to give the position of prefect to someone else. Someone who's more deserving. I will be on, but probably not as much.

Bic: Kody pushed open the large doors to Magic Horizons, taking in a deep breath. She had missed this place. It looked pretty much the same as it always did, and that consistency was somehow comforting.

Kody, on the other hand, looked very different. She, for the first time in a long time, had decided to wear her natural hair and eye color. As a metamorphmagi, she was always changing looks, but not now. Now she was her natural short, straight blonde hair and hazel eyes.

She was dressed more simply than her usual flamboyant looks as well. Today she wore jeans, gym shoes, a white tanktop and a green jacket. She did, however, carry her ever-present cane. That cane was as much a part of her as her arms or legs.

I wonder if anyone will remeber me. Or recognize me, she thought with a grin.

[Sirese Prince]

Sirese had entered the Entrance Hall on his way to go to the Great Hall from the side doors. He noticed the girl with the cane standing at the doorway. He found it odd for the girl to be carrying a cane with her but he decided it was her choice. He smiled at her for a moment then walked over to her "Hello." He said to her with a cheery smile.

He smiled at her still "My name is Sirese Prince, pleasure to meet you miss?" He said to her asking for her name in a kind tone. He had the feeling she was not new and that was confirmed with the way she looked around the room. "Your not new are you?" He ask her watching for her reaction.

Kody grinned at the boy.
"Pleasure to meet you Sirese. That's a cool name. Nah, I'm not new. I've just been...out of town for a little while. well, a couple of months, really."
She held her hand out to Sirese.
"I'm Dakota Scheving, but my friends call me Kody."

[Sirese Prince]

"Nice to meet you Kody." He said with a smile taking her hand. "Thats if I can call you Kody." He ask her with a kind smile in his eyes. She released her hand and smiled at her. "So why where you go for so long?" he ask her then blushed "Thats if you don't mine me asking."

Kody grinned.
"Of course you can call me Kody. And I don't mind you asking. In all honesty, it was my uncle. You see, my parents died when I was very little, so my brother Dan and I moved in with my uncle in the U.S. My uncle is in this rock band and while he was on tour, some idiot shot him in the side at a concert."

Her eyes darkened with anger as she thought about it.
"So I went home to take care of him. My brother helped, but since he would have lost his job if he took too much time off, I decided to help out."

She grinned, her eyes a light amber color again.
"My uncle's all healed now, so I can come back to school. Crzy story, yes, but true. So, what house are you in? And how long have you been here, if you don't mind my asking?"

ooc: stupid excuse, but my muse is on vacay apparently.

[Sirese Prince]

"I am glad to hear that your uncle is alright." He said with smile and a compassionate look in his eeys "Thank you for giving me such permission." He teased lightly making her feel more welcome. When she ask about his house he pointed to the crest on his robes. "Slytherin house." He said with a smile.

"I only got here a week or so ago, Just before the Christmas dance." He said with a smile "Met a few interesting people and creatures but I am having a blast."

OOC: I know what you mean, mine hates me right now..

Kody grinned.
"Ah good. It'd be great if one of these days I learned how to read. But a fellow Slytherin. Always good to meet new members of our illustrious house. And I'm glad that you're enjoying yourself here. It's a great school."

Ooc: Ugh. I think mine sold itself on eBay.

[Sirese Prince]

OOC: oh good I can go buy it *goes off to look*

Sirese smiled "Yeah Slytherins are good, but it is funny I have feelings for our head girl who is Gryffindor." He said with a smirk and a blush "I like it here because I feel so relaxed, in my last school it was to strict." He smiled still "Though the school being under attack does dampen those feelings of carefree spirit a little." He looked around "You haven't been around in a while, but there is someone out to destroy the school." He told her "but as long as you stay out of the way you might be fine."

Slytherins where not cowards they just knew when to fight and when to hide and wait for a time to strike, like a snake. He normally would have but Hayzie changed things, people where out to hurt his friends and that could not stand. "I joined the resistance, but not everyone is in it, hardly anyone."

[Dakota Scheving]

Kody grinned.
"Hayzie's a great girl. I can see why you like her."
Inwardly, she thought, Darn, the cute one's are always taken.

She sighed.
"Of course the school's under attack. It's sad, but it's pretty much always under attack. When I left it was under attack. I'll keep out of the way, for now, but don't think for a second I won't join the fight. I love this school and I'd sooner die than see it taken over. I won't let my friends get hurt. Ever. Not if I can help it."

[K~Bear]

The familiar blonde walked down the stair case that led up to where the Hufflepuff Common Room was concealed. Her sapphire eyes twinkled as always as she quickened her pace upon reaching the last few steps. Stepping off the end she heard two voices in the relatively empty Entrance Hall, one sounding rather familiar.

Looking up she knew the boy straight away, she had seen him in the Christmas Ball with Hayzie, but the girl was a mystery, but there was something about her that screamed to the nurse that she knew her.

"I'm Dakota Scheving, but my friends call me Kody."

Kasey could have kicked herself. It was then she saw the cane swinging from Kody's arm. A tackle greeting would have been typical for the Hufflepuff so she too decided to change one of her trademarks and strolled casually over to the pair.
"Well welcome back Miss. Scheving" Kasey said smiling to her friend.

[Hayzie]

Speak of the devil and she arrives.

That was how the saying went, and it appeared to be true that day. Deciding to change out of her school robes and into a white vest top, light blue jeans, trainers and a denim baker cap had been the best thing for Hayz, who was beginning to try and relax a little. Her school robes were so... confining, and she had always hated the ties...

As she reached the Entrance Hall, two familiar voices and one sort of familiar voice reached her ears. Bringing her wheelchair to a halt, the blonde girl leaned forward to peek around the corner and find out who the third voice belonged to. "Kody!!!" Hayz squealed as she leant back and began wheeling her chair closer to the group. It was amazing how complicated the Hovermatic controls were.

"Long time no see!" she grinned, putting the 'handbreak' on so she wouldn't roll back any. It had been a few days since the Head Girl had seen Sirese around too. Since the day Sen had been brought in in this very room. The thought of the day brought goosepimples to her bare arms. "You too, Mister," Hayz smiled, leaning her head back a little so she could see him.

Turning to the side to look at Kasey, the blonde girl grinned. It had been even longer since the two of them had met outside the hospital wing and outside of the dance hall. "How are you Kase?"

Kody, having immediately recognized the first lovely blonde, pushed away thoughts of formalities and promptly tackled the girl in a large hug.
"KASEY!!!" she practically squealed in joy. "I missed you soooo much!!"

She also immediatly recognized the second lovely blonde who she also hugged promptly.
"Hayzie!! Long time no see is right! How are you?"

[Hayzie]

Moving her arms to wrap around Kody friendily, Hayzie's eyes were slightly more alight than they had been for a while. "Been better but been a whole lot worse," she smiled. "How about you? Where have you been all this time? Not hiding from us, I hope?" Hayz asked sternly, putting her hands on her hips as much as she could before they hit the arms of her chair, hard.

"Ouch," she whispered, rubbing at the worst elbow gently.

Sirese rolled his eyes lightly "I can fix that if you want Hayzie." He said with a smile "You know I can, just ask and you got it." He gave her a wink playfully. "I take it you both know Kody very well then." He ask them both with a smile "Seems your quiet popular, I feel special to have met you and me being so new tot he school." He teased her lightly.

He nodded his head to the nurse with a smile "Pleasure to meet you, I think I saw you briefly at the Dance but not more then that." He said trying to avoid the two party crashers that happened into the school at that time.
