Yes! I have returned from camp, I am refreshed, and I missed you all TERRIBLY much. I'd show you all pics this very instant, but I still haven't really got the hang of downloading pics from the digital camera. It's a weird program.
I missed you all!
I know I said that already, but it's still just soo true! I wondered what you might all be up to and what I was missing and if when I got back you would remember me.
Also, the people who usually go to that camp - the really cool and slightly insane ones - couldn't go this year, so I met new people.
We had a band come and play one night, then last night we learned how to swing dance in period clothes (theme night) I thought it was great fun. I'll show you photo's once I get them downloaded.

Alright! The pics are downloading to my comp this instant, then I'll upload them for you all. But there seems to have been one small misunderstanding, I had to meet new people: this means I didn't have the greatest time. I'm not very good at making friends, I spent more time talking to the camp leaders than to the campers. Also, it was a beach camp and I'm not incredibly fond of the beach. Oh well. The THEME NIGHT and BAND NIGHT was great fun. But yeah. DOWNLOAD YOU STUPID PHOTO'S !!!!!!!!!!! it's taking too long. Don't worry, I'll get there. OK. I think that's it. It's not all of them, the computer is being a pain, but these are some of the pics. Ok, this is Wade holding up a paddle that he broke trying to roll in a kyack. Yes, he broke it. I had to get a pic, I really did. It was just such a precious moment. This is a fellow camper by the name of Zac wearing a sombrero as we shoved him into a Vinnies bin as part of a camp challenge. Our group leaders drove us out from camp to a nearby town to do this. Good fun. This is the room I was in. I had the top bed in the left corner. Really terrible sleeping conditions, flies, mosquitoes, a couple of spiders, and foam mattresses covered in vinyl. It's a pet interest of mine to take a pic of the room I stay in, just to compare how messy it is with other rooms I've stayed in either on my own or with others. And this is me, dressed up for the swing night and with more gel in my hair than I have ever had before. Also, I wasn't posing, I was just pulling up the shoulder strap when the leader took the picture for me. I did ask for her to take the photo, and I was looking at her, but I didn't expect her to take it just then. I'm kind of pleased with the way it came out anyway, so I'm sharing it.

-chuckles- I shall remember that bin one for my own psychotic gang of friends.
You are so beautiful Shae, those two shimmery colours in your dress suit you very well. Welcome back my dove, I've missed you. -Mai-hug-

Zac is just a little wider than a piece of A4 paper, and really only as thick as my hand is wide. He's long and it was his idea in the first place, we just had to hold the lid of the bin open and kind of feed him in. It's actually the THIRD time I've been in a group that's fed a member into a bin like that. I'm a little in shock that we've done it that often. I want to share a pic of Stelle, she is THE coolest leader. On the last night she stuck her head into the cabin and enquired about an old tradition of the camp: the Hot List. This is a list made by the girl's on the last night ranking the hottest guys on camp. She is very cool and probably organised the list herself a few times when she was a camper. Anyway, she rocks generally. UNFORTUNATELY, the camera just gave up on loading and it stopped before the great pick I took of her came through, so you will have to wait for the one I want to show. In the meantime, this is a crop of her from the group photo I took of the leaders.

Thank you Mai! It's good to be back. You can't tell in that photo because I've made it so small but my eyes are blue.
Also, I would like you all to know that I made the dress myself the week before camp.
