Sammy I'm so happy for you. My school's musical is coming up, and I'm beyond nervous! We're putting on the King and I. It's gonna be awesome!

Hey, that's wonderful. I put on shows all the time, at my school, and with my community theatre group. Sounds like you had fun. Good for you! We are putting on our musical at school in a few months. It's Chicago this year, and I am going to audition, and hopefully get a part. If not, I'll either stage manage again, or assistant direct.

Hi, loved to act, but my parents squashed my dreams and now I'm far too old. But congrads and never give up even if you have to run away.
I'm a writer now, *Blech* just living someone elses dream, I want to finish my first novel by the end of the year though.

I was really into acting when I was younger. My only problem is that I can't sing... at all. So that kinda ruled everything out for me, since my school/community theater is very musical focused.
Then I joined guard, which is another performing art involving dance, equitment work and a dash of theater. xD Right now we're still trying to put our show together; we've got about 2 and a half minutes out of four done. I spin sabre in one part and flag in another, and at the begining we have an ensemble dance moment. And I have a solo as well.
Congrats to everyone who is/was in plays/musicals... it's certainly not easy, and it takes a lot of courage to get up on stage. At my first show... I was a nervous wreck. But everytime you do it, it gets easier.
