It had only been days since Hayzie Roberts had been awarded the status of Head Girl, and she wasn't sure the shock had set in properly yet. However, there she was on her way to Hogsmeade to have a first, proper, meeting with Wyl Thirsk, the new Head Boy.
What a scary thought.
It wasn't often the Gryffindor travelled to Hogsmeade nowadays as it was difficult to get her wheelchair through the crowds of people, but surely it wouldn't be so bad in the Three Broomsticks... would it?
On opening the door, however, the blonde realised with a despair filled sigh that she was wrong. Pulling the hood off her head, letting the warm air from the Three Broomsticks warm her quicker than any warming charm, Hayz waved to one of the bartenders who instantly recognised her. Well, it wasn't difficult. She couldn't think of another student at the school who was confined to a wheelchair, or hoverchair for that matter.
Heading over her way, Hayzie smiled. "Hey, Tim.. busy today?" she asked, to which he replied: "Busy's an understatement. Good thing I'm just starting my break I feel?" Hayzie nodded and looked for a gap in the crowd. "Any chance there's a private booth free anywhere? I'm meeting someone here soon, don't suppose he's here yet? Tall, blonde hair, glasses, blue eyes...?"
At these words, Tim raised one eyebrow her way which green eyes quickly caught. "No, not that!" she laughed, swatting his arm lightly and pointing to the new badge on her robes. "He's Head Boy. We've never really spoken before, but there's got to be a first time for everything."
"Ah.. Tim replied, gesturing towards the side of the room they were on. "In fact, there's one right next to you..." waving his wand, a new door appeared which opened to reveal a room with a small fire, a few scattered armchairs and a small coffee table. "Perfect, as always," Hayzie admired, wheeling her way past two or three people and heading into the room. "Butterbeer on the house?" she asked cheekily.
"Don't push it too far!" Tim laughed. "I'll let him know you're here if I see him."
"Cheers, Tim," Hayzie laughed, wheeling further in as the bartender left and warming her hands in front of the fire. Wyl had wanted to talk to her about some things, but what she wasn't sure. All she knew was that the conversation would be interesting....
