Wrong way in!

Caris was getting quite scared. She knew she had seen that tree before. She was going around in circles.
'Silly girl' she scolded herself 'I should have just headed straight for the castle.
Caris remembered how happy she had been feeling only a few hours earlier. She was all prepared to start her first day at Magical Horizons: She'd had her bags packed, taken the train, and then arrived in Hogsmead. As she had walked into the school grounds she noticed the lush green of the nearby forest trees. The scent of nature had been intoxicating after spending much of the day on a musky old train. The evening was only just beginning and there was still some light coming from the slowly lowering sun. Caris remembered thinking to herself that perhaps she would have some time to peek her head into the forest and have a little bit of an explore 'What could be the harm?' she had asked herself.
Now here she was, two hours later alone in the forest. The sun had finished its western descent about an hour previously.
'Why did I have to wander in this place?' Caris asked 'I just wanted to start school'.
Suddenly Caris heard a noise ...
'Oh no, Who's there?'

Amelia appeared in front of the blonde haired girl. She stood her ground, her shoulders tight, her dark brown furr shining in the light that passed through the leaves of the forest trees. Her rose pink eyes stared at the blonde girl.

I am here...but you shouldn't be... Amelia warned the girl. You are trespassing here...and if a forest lycan or other forest creature finds you they will not spare your life...

she sat down on the cold hard ground, her tail beated the floor as she watched the girl with deep interest.

‘I don’t know how to get out’ wailed Caris.
‘I’m lost in here, I just want to get back to the school. It was my first day and … and…’
Caris couldn’t go on. She suddenly realized that the furred animal was watching her with those neon like pink eyes. Their luminous light was fascinating Caris, but she was aware she needed to get away as fast as possible.

Amelia pointed into the thick of the forest with her paw...

Its that way she said Telepathically into the girls mind...but then she realised that it was quite a way and there were lots of trees...enough for anyone to get lost in.

Caris thought that by saying no, she may anger the mystical creature in front of her.
‘Yes, please. Show me how to get out.’<br>

Amelia sensed the girls fear about angering her and she smiled.

This way she said as she started to walk into the forest

Caris started to follow. She couldn't even feel her legs moving. It was almost as though this creature had her under a trance.
Caris was vaguely aware that she was being led further into the forest, but the thought of danger was only at the very back of her mind. Although fearful of the creature, Caris felt a strange sense of safety walking through the forest with her.

Amelia could sense the girl was scared...but that she also trusted her....

Whats your name? She asked the girl telepathically.

She continued into the forest....she was going this way as it was easier to get out the way that she knew

Oh, are you leaving so soon? a cold voice rang through the forest. Two glowing gold orbs peered through the shadows at the two. Out from the bushes stepped a girl with hair as golden as her eyes, clad all in black. The girl nodded her head at the lycan in greeting than turned her steely gaze on the human. "You shouldn't be here" she hissed "and I truly don't care if you are lost, better for me and mine."

Amelia bowed her head slightly to the elder Lycan.

I was just showing her the 'way out'

Amleia explained to the other lycan. Amelia's pink eyes sparkled with excitement at meeting another Lycan

"Why would you show her the way out, when you'd have much more fun leading her deeper in" she said in a voice tainted with mischief. Her gaze slid back to the lycan girl as she arched a delicate brow.

With a small smile she melted into her lycan form. The silver-white lycan circled the human before saying to them both I have been quite bored since my return, and frankly an ignorant human would do perfectly well in providing me long needed entertainment.

You dont understand...she thinks I'm showing her the way out...but if you notice...I'm leading her deeper into the forest!

The lycan's gaze moved to study the path Amelia had chosen. Paige smiled (as much as a lycan could smile) and sent to Amelia (only!) Indeed it seems you are. Serves her right, nosy human. Mind if I join in the fun? The lycan moved closer to the human girl snapping playfully at her ankles, with an evil gleam in her eyes.

But the Lycan's didn't noticed a pair of large dark eyes watching them from the bushes. The blonde girl turned into her human form and watched her friend, Amelia and another lycan...she heard Amelia's voice in her mind...

Sure..join in the fun...I was thinking of leading her as far in as I could and then hiding and watching! Daniela lips curled into a smile. A little game won't hurt anyone, she stood up...

"Leave her alone!" she yelled, her face were wearing a serous expression, but you could see her eyes sparkling.
Let me join Amelia...I'd like to play with that human for a while... she sent to her lycan friend.

"Come here girl..." she called and stretched out her hand "they won't hurt you..."
Yet... she added telepathically, Danni was keeping herself from smiling, she just hoped that her fellow Lycans will cooperate.
