w00t. Okay, well, we've just got the go-ahead from Claire--we're doing the Golden Snitch Awards again. ^&^
For those of you who don't know what those are, they're just a fun thing that we did one year (I believe they were originally intended to be annual, lol) where we nominate people on this site for certain categories, and then we vote for them via polls.
Now, Claire has already said that there will be five basic categories; Best RolePlayer (overall) and then Best Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff. However, half the fun of these things is in brainstorming the other categories. Claire has said that she doesn't want too many, but that any ideas will be considered.
Last time we did this, some of the ones we had were "Best Plot," "Best Fanfic," "Best Couple..." I'm sure we had more, although I don't remember them all. Anyway, in that sort of vein. So let's have some input--what do you guys think?

How about 'Best Ministeress?' My brain isn't functioning properly, and I can't think of any... So there's - Best Role-Player - Best Slytherin - Best Hufflepuff - Best Gryffindor - Best Ravenclaw - Best Plot - Best FanFic - Best Couple I don't know how many more you would want...

What about best newcomer? Because people who have only been here for a few days, weeks etc may be left out with some of the other categories, so maybe we could have one for them?

*nodnod* Aye, I think that would be a good idea. Hmm, and is it just me, or did we have a 'most improved RPer' category last time, too?
Hm. Well, my thought is that it's awfully student-oriented. We should probably have a category for the magical creatures too--we could do 'best' lycan, vampire, faerie, etcetera, or we could try to come up with some more inventive categories for them...
Don't mind me, my brain's not working quite right. XD

Too early in the morning for you? That's a good idea, too... They were quite student based last time, from what I remember o.o Most improved RPer would be good, too o.o

- Best Role-Player - Best Slytherin - Best Hufflepuff - Best Gryffindor - Best Ravenclaw - Best Plot - Best FanFic - Best Couple - Best Faerie - Best Vampire - Best Lycan - Best Demon - Most Improved - Best New-comer * Funniest? * Best developed character? * Most mysterious? * Favorite character?
Then maybe have a few subcategories, like... most cruel? Most inventive? Most random? Most...?
This sounds like a good idea, I'm all for it!

Perhaps, but it seems most of the likely candidates for that catagory have up and left. Either that, or they've been keeping a really low profile.

Most likely. But it's ok to let some of the newer characters get awards. ^^

Hmm. The most likely to things would definitely be fun to play with... but I think that would be almost better off as a whole different set-up? I mean, Claire has said that she wants to keep this from being too big. *grins* And judging from Jean-Claude's list there, I think we might be nearing that mark... Ah well, I suppose we can keep throwing out ideas, and then we can leave poor Claire to do the decision-making... Hm. It might also be fun to play with stereotypes. So for the houses, it might be something like, "Most Book-smart Ravenclaw," or "Most Cunning Slytherin," so on. For the magical creatures... "Evillest vampire," perhaps, "Most cheerful Faerie..." Things along those lines.

Yay I get to enjoy all the fun stuff without having the trouble of organising everything, woo ha! But from what Claire said the other day, we've already got enough categories, and now you can start naming people you think should go in for each category. Dum dee dum.
Wow, this is fun. ;D
