If Bob is a nickname for Robert, shouldn't Rob be a nickname for Bobert?!

Dear Mom, Dad, Davy, Kobe, Benny, Ryan and Sama, Well I'm here and it's great. The castle is absolutly gigantic. I even made a few friends. I'm in Ravenclaw, the smart house! Mom- No I have no idea who decorated. Dad- The omlettes here are okay but nothing like your killer mushroom/cheese. Davy- There are two classes here you'd love, potions and arithmancy. Kobe- Yes, of course there are sports her. I saw some books about them in the library. Benny and Ryan- I'm giving you hugs, kisses and sweet dreams every day I'm here. Sama- No, I've only been here for a couple of days. I havn't met any boys yet, so no crush.
Thanks for your letter, Kassie

Dru opened the owlery's door and saw a girl standing there. "Hey," she said, smiling. "Writing to your family too?" The dark hair fell in her eyes.

Kassie looked up at the girl. She didn't look like she meant any harm. "Yeah, they're in Boston, in the States. I kinda miss them. I mean, they're so far away. I'm used to having them see who I see, know who I know." Mira had not meant to let this slip out, but the girl had a comforting presence. "By the way, I'm Kasmira, Kassie or Mira. Who are you? I'm a Ravenclaw. How about you?"

Kasmira got up from the floor where she had been sitting cross-legged. "That's good. Now, not to be nosy, but where do you come from? What's your family like?"

"I'm from Norway. Don't know who my parents are though, I was adopted as a little child. Can't even remember them. Oh well, I was raised by an average rich family outside a small city called Drammen. We lived in a house from the 18th century; I loved it!" Dru smiled when thinking about the happy childhood she'd had. "I had one sister and a brother. My sister, Sarah, was very kind, but too realistic for me. I'm more like a dreamer." Dru stopped talking while wondering why she told the girl all this. She decided to tell her more, after all, Kasmira was one of the few she'd talked to here at Magic Horizons. "My brother was more like me. He liked to get lost in his own world, draw and write, or just... talk. My Dad has always been a bit distant, while I told almost everything to my mother! Where are you from?" Dru asked, and smiled at Kasmira. She felt that this girl was of that kind you can rely on.

Kasmira trusted this girl, which was not common for Kassie. 'She shared her life with me, now I'll tell her about mine.' "I was born in New York City but raised in Boston. I've got four younger brothers, named Kobe,Davy,Benny, and Ryan and a younger sister, Samantha, Sama for short. It gets kinda hectic in the morning when everyone is getting ready to go out." Mira sighed. She missed those mornings when everyone was rushing around, looking for keys and bags and cramming breakfast down. "I went to school at a place called Four Corners. Not so fond memories of school."

"Bad memories from school? Yeah, I know how that is." Dru shrugged. Disturbing that miserable part of her life was hard for her. She thought about what the students had said, about the things they had...called her at her former school. The room was silent, except for the owls' howling.
