More than a letter, but less than a word

Max stood in the owlery, she had ment to write to her parents, but never did, so there she was making one as if she had written a page each day. Dipping her quill in the ink every other time was getting to tierd when all of a sudden out of carelessness the ink bottle fell to the floor scatering glass and ink upon the floor. "D**n" She said outloud looking at the mess she made. Ink, glass, hay and dropping werent a very apealing combination.

"Hmmm, Do you know the spell for cleaning things up? I would be a bad Idea to leave that there, as the owls would get into it. It could make them sick."

Ashlle had just walked up the stairs with her Madagascar Red Owl On her arm. The poor thing had not wanted to stay with the others because her mistress was living outside the castle for safety reasons. However Ashlle insisted that she live up in the castle, as the Gamekeepers cabin had no extra room for an Owlery.

"If you don't, I could go get an upperclassman for you. They know all the good spells." she added.

Maximilienne was startled a bit by the girl not expecting anyone to hear the noise she had made. "Oh, no, It's okay. I know a spell, I was just...thinking of something, my mind must have drifted off somewhere elese." She said looking at the mess.
