Fuu stood atop the astronomy tower and watched rain come down from the skies. It wasnt that pretty rain, it was tha tugly boring drizzle stuff. she leaned on the railing, her head in her hands, and looked out over the school grounds. She sighed and thought, school is so boring lately....
Fuu was wearing a olive colored turtleneck, a white belt with black studs, black dickies, red bowling shoes and her hair was in a half ponytail. It was dusk and getting far darker than it usually was at this time-the rain clouds too care of that.
For some reason, Fuu was depressed and wasnt her normal self. She stared absentmindedly at the watch on her wrist, following the second hand in a circle with her eyes.

Lars ran to the Astronomy Tower, as it began to rain cats and dogs. This would be his first time ever visiting this place, which could be seen by from anywhere. As he reached the stairs, Lars decided to climb up to the top, so he could see all of this would, which seemed like a fantasy world two years ago. As Lars made his way up the stairs, his wet clothes weighted him down, making it harder for him to get farther.
Eventually Lars made it to the top, and could quickly see that the rain would not stop in awhile. He stepped to the railing and looked to his left. As he looked he saw another student, that he never seen before. "Hello, I am Lars Claybourne and I am a proud Hufflepuff," he introduced himself. The fact of winning both the qudditch and the house cup hadn't taken much effect on him.

Fuu didnt answer right away because she didnt now that another person was there. Suddenly relizing that she wasnt alone she jerked her head up. She blanked out for a moment and regained herself.
"Oh....oh! Hello My name is Fuu Sunzaki....Slytherin House?" she did a slight bow a looked back at the rain. She was still not completley with herself. After just meeting her father and all the things he said to her she was a little broken. She felt like she could cry. But she resisited the urge since she had never met this boy before. She took a deep breath and try to clam herself down.
She turned back to the boy, trying to start conversation she asked, "Lars? What nationality is that?" She slid her bangs to the side of her face revealing her azure eyes. The humitidy make the hair sort of stick to her paLe skin.

"Umm, I am Christian if that is what you are asking. I am very Christian actually, mostly due to my parents, but if I was like them I wouldn't be here, so I am lucky I am not like them," Lars said with a smile. He looked out and watched the rain pour down in buckets. Lars never saw it rain like this, here or anywhere. "Fuu? What nationality is that?" Lars asked her. He never heard of a name like that, but he didn't knew a lot of people.
Lars put out his hands and caught some rain water. When he accomplished this, he splashed on his face, to refresh himself. The walk up was so long and tiring, and he was amazed that he did this. Lars knew it wasn't as great achievement, because many has gotten up there many times before him.
"It looks like we will be up here for awhile, the rain shows no signs of slowing down," Lars said to her. He learned weather from his father, who could predict the weather by the clouds. It was probably because he was a farmer he could do that.

Fuu thought about the question before she smiled, "Fuu....its Japanese for rainstorm." she smiled as she said this. But her smile quicly faded as she heard the news.
She leaned over the edge sticking her hand out of the ledge watching the rain droplets land on her hand and slowly roll off. She looked at the dark sky.
"Really how do you know?" she replied. She didnt doubt him she just wondered.

"Well it is quite easy, the clouds are endless, it just started, it seems like nothing is moving, and a lot of other stuff," Lars said quietly. He did not want to get in the advanced stuff, it would take forever to discuss that. Lars sat on the ground, against the railing. His back caught the cool breezes that came in all directions. Lars wondered how long he could stay in this school, and if he would become a teacher, but he knew this would be a long time away.
"How long have you been here? I have been here a half a year, but this is my second years," Lars stated. He didn't want to go into the reason why he missed a lot of days, and hope she wouldn't ask. He stared at the stairs, and thought, I will never make it back down.

Lars did not want to tell what happened to him, but he knew that wouldn't be polite if he didn't. "Well, about two days before this school year, my parents tricked me into coming for the week. They lied, they wanted me there forever. They never wanted me to come to this school, but my brother got sick, and they did not had enough money for both of us. So they decided to let me come here again, this time I will stay forever," Lars told Fuu. This was the second time he ever told anyone, the first time he told Forgoil, who is now Lars' best friend.
She is right, it is cold, Lars thought to himself. He now leaned against the wall near the stairs to keep warm. Lars also rubbed his hands together, which was a very common method. "I have an Owl, a Barn Owl. His name is Samus," Lars said, trying to start the conversation back up.

To hear Lars' comment she seemed even more sad than she was before. After he finished she turned around and faced Lars.
"I sort of know how you feel but i have never had a family so i am always here..." she took a deep breath. "Well thats not completely true i have....had a father." Another quck cold breeze came. She shivered and then followed Lars and leaned on the wall next to him. She gave him a sheepish smile and hugged herself. She felt the mood needed to lighten up as well. "Samus....I use to have a pig, um Pig was his name. But i called him Buta-chan sometimes but that also means pig."she said with a happier tone.

Lars felt sad to hear Fuu's tragic story, but he didn't want to bring it up again. He could tell that thinking about that made her sad. "I use to live on a farm, we raised chickens, cows, pigs, and a lot more. Sadly they all ended up in the slaughter house. That is why I became a vegetarian," Lars said softly. He never liked the look of meat, to him it looked to fatty and gross. Which also played a factor why he was a vegetarian.
"I found Samus in the barn one day, and I convinced my parents to let me keep him. We have been best friends ever since," Lars whispered to Fuu. He knew to never grow emotionally attached to the farm animals, so the only friend besides Samus, Lars had as a kid was his brother.

She smiled, "I think it great that you are a vegitarian!" she said cheerfully. "I would but i love fish too much so i just cant seem to convert." Fuu slid down and landed on her butt. She drew her legs up and sat in sort of a ball.
"You lived on a farm, what was that like?" she asked.

"Thanks," Lars said to Fuu. It was quite easy for Lars to be a vegatarian, mainly because he started at an early age. The only problem is, making sure all your food is meat free, which can get confusing. He was never fond of other meat subitutes, see he remained to a vegetable, fruit, junk food, and sweets diet. His favorite food was churros.
"I love churros," Lars said, he couldn't stay off of the subject. "I was introduced to them two weeks before the start of school. They became my instant favorite food," Lars finished.
OOC: G2G, sorry for short post.

Fuu looked at him confuzed.
"What is a churros?" she asked. She blushed because she was embarresed.
