A mourning look was permanently etched onto her features since that day. Her expression and tone were lifeless, as she felt. Nothing was going to make her mood match her hair anymore, making her think of dying it again. Were losses always this hard to get over? It had been a few days, but it still felt like the first.
Hope loved to match her mood – and the weather volunteered. The day was cold, feeling normal against her numb body. Her clothes took a good part in matching; she wore high-heeled black boots, meeting her knees. Her legs were covered in fish net material with a black skirt coming to mid-thigh. She wore a black tank top that came to the belt on her skirt. A lonely sigh filled the crisp air. Accompanied by a few coughs.
The Slytherin girl took a lighter out of her [skirt] pocket, and a cigarette. She lit the cigarette and took a long drag, inhaling the toxic chemicals. One of the first things Faith had said to her was not to smoke – or something like that. A light smile twitched at her lips, a memory, a small bit of joy that relieved her sorrow – until reality hit. She had only just met her sister when she arrived. They had grown closer, and were getting a sisterly bond… But now what would happen? Nothing, obviously…
Hope wanted to know the whole story; she was left with only bits of information left by people. Half of them being rumors.
After her walk around Magic Horizons she tossed her cigarette on the ground, putting it out with her foot. She walked into the castle, climbing up a long set of stairs. Hope entered a small room that was high up in the castle. She walked over to a large window, the sight was quite wondrous. Stars glittered through the night sky, making the cold night seem nicer.
“I wish you were here…” Hope said into the night, grabbing another cigarette. She repeated the process she had done earlier, then sat on the windowsill. She continued taking puffs, her mind wandering aimlessly.
