Everyone had gone asleep in the common room that evening by one. Jenna wasn't remotely tired even though her blue-grey eyes were blood-shoot. That and her extreme boredom lead her to go the astronomy tower that night. She didn't know why she wanted to go, but she did. She was looking up at the unusually bright stars and smiled. This is where she wanted to stay forever. She actually might've stayed there forever but she heard some one hit a chair behind her. Jenna immediately turned around.

"Ow!" Haycee exclaimed as she bumped into a chair. "What's the chair doing there, anyway?" Haycee asked the air. Suddenly, Haycee realized she wasn't alone. "Oh hi." Haycee greeted the girl. "My name is Haycee. It's hard to see around here when it's so dark out..." Haycee said with a laugh. "Anyway, I'm from Ravenclaw House and this is my first time up here in the Astronomy Tower. I've only been at Magical Horizons for about 2 weeks now. I just wanted to come up here and gaze at the stars...I love looking at the stars." Haycee said with a smile. "So...how about you? What's your name?" Haycee asked.

Jenna smiled. It must have been really dark because her and Haycee had already met. "Haycee. I guess your always the same no matter what time of day." Jenna turned her gaze back to the stars and said in a dreamy voice, "when I'm up here, gazing at the stars, everything seems so far away, you know? We must be so tiny from up there. It's times like these that people really appriciate what's out there. But I disgress; I have a nasty habit of chewing people's ears off.
"So what are you doing up here after hours?"

Haycee smiled a little. "I just like looking at the stars...but I don't come up here too often. Some nights are too cloudy to see the stars, or too cold. I like it when it's really clear out and nice."

"Yes, tonight is a good night, isn't it? But I'm up here most nights, or I'm down there," she said nodding to the forest. "So do Ravenclaws have rule-breaking adventures too?"

Haycee's smile disappeared from her face. "Rule-breaking? Hmmm...yeah, I suppose being out after hours breaks the rules...but being in the Astronomy Tower is still on the school grounds and is a relatively safe place to be. Plus, the Astronomy Tower is for looking at stars and you can only do that at night!" Haycee hated breaking the rules and had justified her coming up to the Astronomy Tower with the logic she had just told Jenna. She didn't want to be seen as a rule-breaker and hoped that her justifications would still allow Jenna to think of her as a good, rule-complying student. After all, this had been the only rule Haycee had broken so far...she has never done more dangerous stuff such as wandering through the Forbidden Forest. "And as for Ravenclaws as a group being rule-breakers, I don't think they are. At least I consider myself to be a rule-obeying, but everyone is different..." Haycee remembered her friend Persephone, who liked to pull pranks on teachers and who was also a Ravenclaw. Haycee didn't want to appear unfriendly, but didn't like the topic at hand, so she decided to add a comment about Jenna's first words. "Yes, tonight is a good night...that's partly why I'm up here." Haycee then managed a smile, hoping the rest of the conversation would be forgotten.
