((OOC: Invite only, please))
As Pierre waited in the dark and abandoned classroom he stared out the window. The stars in the sky twinkled so brightly, but only half as brightly as her eyes. Pierre walked away from the window and sat down on top of an old, dusty desk. Although he’d only been at the school for a few weeks now he’d met a girl who made his heart flutter. Never in his life had Pierre felt so powerless to a girl’s charm and never had a girl made him feel this way.
The door to the old abandoned Astronomy Classroom was opened slightly and every time Pierre glanced up at it he felt his nerves over take him. “What if she says no…” Pierre thought as he looked around the classroom. The classroom was dark and hadn’t been used for a while. But there was one thing that showed it had been used before. Above him the ceiling domed, as he stared at it he got an idea.
Pierre pulled out his wand and waved it at the ceiling. Small balls of lights in shades of purple, blue, green, white, and lavender shot out and went straight up to the ceiling and began to circle around and they formed an indoor starry night. When he’d seen what he’d done Pierre smiled to himself and remembered how he’d first mastered the trick to help his twin sister cheer up after being stuck in bed for a week. “Hopefully it’ll be just as meaningful to her as it was to Gen,” Pierre thought.
After that there wasn’t much left for him to do, except wait and hope everything went right.

Savanah Haas walked slowly up the steps to the Astronomy Tower. She had received a request to meet Pierre there tonight, the note that had been written lay folded in her pants pocket. With curiosity, she had dressed in her best, a pair of form-hugging khaki capris, and a deep blue tank-top under a cream-colored sweater. She walked, as prefered, in a pair of old and worn sneakers. Her footsteps sounded softly on the stone steps as she rose to the top of the highest tower. Her thoughts swirled in her mind. Pierre. . . she didn't know him well, yet she already felt close to him.
Finally, she came to the top of the stairs and she opened the wooden door and stepped throught. The sight immediately drew her breath out of her chest. The stars outside in the night sky twinkled with bright light, but not as bright as the light in the tower. Bright colored lights sparkled in the dome of the ceiling, sending everything in the room into a realm of soft colors. It took her breath away, that sight, and brought a smile to her face. Looking around, she spyed Pierre standing near one of the windows. With a bright grin, and a twinkle in her eyes, she bowed deeply, as she always did. After a second, her smile became one with a hint of a question in it. She reached into her pocket, and pulled out the letter, smoothing it in her hands.
"Good evening, Pierre. It's wonderful to see you on such a lovely night! Did you spell the lights? They are so beautiful. . . " she trailed off, as she looked at the beautiful room around them.

"Good evening, Pierre. It's wonderful to see you on such a lovely night! Did you spell the lights? They are so beautiful. . . "
Pierre looked up and saw Savvy standing nearby. He felt his heart start to pound in his chest and for a second he couldn’t speak. But he was able to breath just enough to answer Savvy’s question, “Yes. I learned the spell a few years ago from a book.”
After having said that Pierre felt his heart beat start to slow a little and could speak clearly now, “I hope it isn’t too much. I thought it might be perfect for this though…” Pierre paused and cursed himself. Why had he added that last line? “‘Perfect for this’ what’s wrong with me?” Pierre thought to himself and he looked down at the floor.

As she listened, Savvy smiled, the lights making her eyes sparkle and dance. With a chuckle, she walked over to one of the window seats and sat down, tucking up her feet.
"Perfect is exactly the word I would use. It is a wonderful spell. . . "
She trailed off as she looked at the ceiling, but then looked back at Pierre. She patted the seat next to her, gesturing for him to join her.
The note was still in her hands and she held it up in question. "Pierre, it's lovely to talk with you, but may I ask why you wanted to see me? Not that you need a reason, but. . . . " she trailed off once more, feeling foolish.

For a second Pierre hesitated to sit down next to Savvy and sure enough his stomach felt weird again. But he braved it out and walked over to Savvy and sat down next to her. At first he didn’t know what to say, but he decided what he would say had to be good so he started, “When I first met you, at the Entrance Hall, not long ago I couldn’t stop thinking about you afterwards.” Pierre paused and looked at Savvy then he went on, “At first I wasn’t sure why I kept thinking back to you. Then I started thinking. I think it was your eyes…they sparkle like the stars above us.” Pierre felt himself redden in the face when he said that but he kept going, “I brought you up here for more reasons than just to tell you that.” Pierre reached into his robes and pulled out a thin, square, black velvet covered box. He wasn’t sure how she might react to what was inside of it but he opened towards her to reveal a necklace of diamond and emerald. Pierre spoke softer now with his lighter French accent, "If you go out with me I promise that on every birthday, anniversary, Christmas, and Valentines day that we are together there will always be something this spectaculaire. djl.net/jewels/emerald-necklace2.jpg

ooc: O.o
bic: Savvy felt her jaw drop as she stared at the absolutely gorgeous piece of jewelry in Pierre's hands, and as she heard his words wash over her. She was speechless for a moment as her mind whirled, but then she calmly closed her mouth and with a smile, took the box out of his hands and placed it oh so carefully at her side before she flung herself, literally into Pierre's arms, hugging him tightly.
It took her a moment to speak, but she finally could and said, "I couldn't stop thinking of you either. You are perfect in every way, and how could I say no? Yes, of course, yes," she said joyously.

For a second Pierre didn’t know if the reaction on Savvy’s face was a good one but when she flung into his arms he knew it was. Pierre hugged Savvy back just as tightly and felt a rushing feeling explode inside of him when she’d said yes.
Jumping to his feet (with less composure than usual) Pierre said excitedly, “I can not wait until you meet my mother, she’d love you! And my sister goes to the school! Also, if you visit me over winter break you could even meet my father and step mother!”
Pierre paused then added quickly, “But I don’t really like my step mother but who cares! You said yes! You said YES!”
Pierre jumped around the room moving swiftly, by now his brain knew he was making himself out to be an idiot but his heart didn’t care. Finally Pierre settled down and regained his composure. He took Savvy by the hand and looking into her eyes said, “You look so beautiful. I can’t believe you’re mine.”

Savvy watched with amusement to Pierre's excited antics, laughing with him. She still sat, but was grinning like an idiot and felt like dancing for joy as well. As Pierre sat down again and took her hand, she looked back into his eyes and smiled. "Thank you, and you are so handsome. I can't believe it either. It's. . . perfect," she said, happily.
