Elorra walked up the stairs towards the Astronomy Tower, she hoped that it was empty. A big dark red book was being supported by Elorra's arms which were coiled around her chest.
Reaching the top of the stairs Elorra was glad to find that no one else was there. Walking over to the ledge, Elorra sat herself on it cross-legged, using her wings as supports to keep her balanced.
Opening the booked, Elorra smiled as she flicked through the photo's on the pages. Looking back on the people she use to know, and the fun she had with them.
Stopping on a picture of herself hitting her beloved Chris, Elorra felt a tear trickle down her cheek. Looking up, Elorra wiped the tear away and looked out into the night sky. She knew that it would never be like that again, but she wished with all her heart that it would, for as the days passed here, she was begining to feel more and more left out.

The distant but heavy clomping of shoes slowly ascending the stairs resounded, fortelling the arrival of another star gazer come to enjoy tonight's view. It seemed to be a miniscule eternity before there was even any form given to the sounds, embodied by a shadow that slowly, lazily crawled up through the entrance way.
The delayed appearance seemed to promise that of someone of a malevolent nature, like a person slowly taking their time to corner an innocent victim in the back alley streets of Hogsmeade. This actually turned out to not be the case though, as the thick head of blonde, bouncy hair of the Head Boy came into view. His right arm was poised upwards, holding his shedded jacket over his shoulder and the other hand jammed in his pocket. The brilliant gold and almost angelic tufts of hair bore a startling contrast to the deep red hue his hair used to hold in the eyes of the faery, and one could even wonder if she recognized him. Afterall, his appearance was so different that he infact looked as young as he was when he first walked through the doors of HF, so very long ago. It was sad indeed, that those tender memories of his were all but gone.
Kezaa's brilliant blue eyes fell upon the girl sitting and viewing the pages of what looked to be a photobook. It must have been nice, he surmised, to have memories like that to look back on. Try as he may though, they were memories that came in the most trivial of doses.

Elorra's head spun around when she heard someone enter the landing. Seeing her long time friend, Elorra felt suddenly stupid, sitting there with a photo albem open and tears running down her face.
"Kez" said Elorra quickly wiping the tears away from her face without much sucess "What are you doing here?" asked Elorra, swinging her feet onto the ground but remaind sitting on the ledge.

"E....Elorra? That's your name, right?" he asked with a hint of uncertainty as he came closer still to the faery, his lips perked in the shape of a faint 'o.' His lips then merged to form a gentle smile, relieved to find another vital piece to his past, an aqquaintance linked to tender memories long missed.
"I just came to enjoy the stars from a better view, but now it seems I get to enjoy it with a friend, no?"

Elorra gave Kezaa a smile, closed her book and set it on the ledge beside her "Yes, it does seem that way" replied Elorra, using her sleve to wipe away the rest of the tears she had missed on her first attempt
"So how have you been? We haven't spoken to each other in what seems a very long time" Elorra asked taking her feet of the ground and crossing them.

Kat spiraled up the winding stairs to her favorite spot. Just staring out into the skies was the most relaxing and peaceful way for her to clear her mind. She was being lazy trudging up the stairs slowly, every footstep echoing in the stone tower. It was a clear night, perfect for star gazing.
She walked through the entrance and seeing it not empty, she turned to depart. The glint of the moonlight on the fairy's wings caught her eye though and she turned around. Elorra stood there, next to Kezaa, who she hadn't seen in forever. "Elorra, Kezaa..hey guys," she said walking back into the moonlight. "Wow, been awhile," Kat said looking up. An instant calming came over her as she saw the stars. But seeing her friends of old, somehow stirred a sadness in the calmness. Happiness as well was added to the mixture.

Elorra looked over her shoulder and saw Kat walking towards them "Hey Kat" smiled Elorra, she hadn't seen Kat for awhile "It has indeed be awhile" replied Elorra, her hand moving to her side and resting it on the photoalbum "This seems to be a night of meeting old friends, or should I say friends we haven't seen in awhile" said Elorra with a smile smile.

Kat's eyes shifted to the red book beneath Elorra's hand. "Does it feel that with every new magical new one, the old ones are pushed farther out? Or is it just me," Kat asked. Then suddenly she blurted out of no where, "I wish with all my heart that the Fortress wasn't dead. There are some people I will never see again and.." Kat stopped herself. "Wow..guess that was building up for awhile,"

Elorra let out a soft laugh "I wish that to Kat" said Elorra with a small smile "and it does indeed seem that way. In comes a newbie and out goes an oldie. And I'm making rhymes now" laughed Elorra
