So sad the little girl, who lost it all before she got it. It's no wonder she doesn't talk.

A small form slowly made it's way up the stairs into the astronomy tower. She had express permission to be up here at such a late hour, so there wasn't a chance she'd lose house points for being out of bed after hours.
With a star chart under one arm and a small satchel under the other, Mary made her way to the highest point she could get to. She took a glance at just a few other scatterings of other students who had picked this area, but they were all too focused with their telescopes aimed for the sky.
Removing her own telescope and aiming it up she focus on one of the first patterns she saw, it was the constellation orion. Never having a hard time finding that one, she tried finding something else a bit more hard to identify, and got to work. There she blended in with the few other students on the tower, except for the fact that her hair, being a bright white blonde color, was very visable in the dark. Her eyes would also have attracted plenty of atention, being an almost luminous blue, but they were hidden behind her telescope as she started making her starchart.

"Seems like everybody's got some Astronomy homework," a quiet voice at Mary's right ear, out of nowhere. It was a boy, looking like a sixth year, with untidy blue hair that gazed at this Hufflepuff student with a cordial smile.
He turned his face back out to look at the stars, resting his forearms on a railing. "I myself tend to avoid Astronomy, truth be told." He said with a laughing voice. Then, realizing that Mary was doing her homework, he laughed out loud. "If I'm disturbing you, say the word and I can, ah, vanish, right?" He told her with a dutiful nod in her direction.
