Sakura was running like the wind down a large corridor with only one thing on her mind, FOOD! She had realized just an hour ago she hadn’t eaten anything all day and since then couldn’t think of anything else. Being in the Common Room reading for hours on end worked up her appetite, it generally does with her.
Come on energy, she thought, don’t give up now.
Speeding around a very sharp corner (and almost falling backward in the process) she entered in the Great Hall. She immediately sat down on an empty chair and ordered the food she wanted. When it came she dug right in. Sakura had eaten about half of her hamburger when just looked up and took a little glance around the large hall. She caught the small of her burger and carried on gorging it down her throat. It wasn’t that she was greedy, she was just simply extremely hungry, or in her words absolutely starving.

(OOc: I didn't reply earlier since I thought you'd want to be meeting someone from another house. Heh ^.^; )
A laugh came from behind the girl. "I didn't think anyone could eat so fast!" was Carmen's exclamation as she curled her cloak so she could sit down next to Sakura. Pulling her wand from her pocket, she was caught in thought. The last time she had used this wand was against that Lycan. The one who had put those scars all over her. Her cheek, her wrist, her chest, her arms.
She shuddered and waved her wand over the empty plate. Immediately a bowl of fish 'n' chips appeared. Hoeing into it, through a full mouth, the girl said "Long time no see. Where ya been?" That is, if Sakura could make out what Carmen had said.

Hearing laughter behind her, Sakura whipped her head round to see Carmen about to sit next to her. Sakura’s eyes followed Carmen as she sat down and summoned some fish ‘n’ chips, which looked very tasty. She heard some noises, like words that sounded like a different language to her ears. “Huh? Sorry what did say?” she said after swallowing the remains of her dinner and still felt hungry so she got out her own wand and summoned a chocolate fudge sundae that really did look amazing that she had to force herself to eat it. After taking a few spoonfuls she paused. “How are you?” she asked, “It has been a while, I haven’t seen you since my argument with Lottie, is that right?”
It felt like a shadow curled its way around Sakura as she thought about that day when Lottie had lost her silly rainbow sock and woke most of the house just to find it. She was taken over by sadness and anger but tried her hardest not to let it show one bit. She knew that Carmen would worry if she saw her face if it was sad or angry and Sakura didn’t want that to happen, so she smiled pleasantly and carried on with her chocolate fudge sundae, which was still extremely tasty.

Hoeing her way deeply into her fish, Sakura seemed to involved in her own eating to hear Carmen's words. Once she had asked what Carmen had said, the girl shrugged, and wolfed down her flake. Leaving a bit, she offered it to the fellow Hufflepuffian. "Yes, that's right. I've had a very eventful time since then." Scanning back to that fateful day when she was attacked by that Lycan in Hogsmeade, she was surprised that Sakura hadn't noticed the massive paint-blotch like scar on her cheek, let alone the scar ring around her wrist.
Perhaps she was more into her eating than Carmen had thought. "So where have you been hiding for all this time? Haven't seen you for aaages!" Upon finishing her sentence, Carmen picked up a few chips and eagerly ate them all up.

Sakura heard clearly what Carmen said this time and looked up to ask what she had been up to. She opened her mouth to speak noticed something that surprised and scared her terribly. Looking at the blue haired girl hands she saw yet another one. “Carmen… are those scars?” she whispered, shaking a little. “How did you get them?” A question spread through her mind and after pausing for a few seconds and then she asked “What have been doing that was so ‘eventful’?” A noise, her spoon dropping on the table, snapping her out of shock.
Without thinking Sakura jumped up and gave Carmen a great big hug. “I’m fine, but what about you what you been doing to yourself?” she said almost bursting in tears. “I’ve just been here and there,” she said still holding on. “But Carmen, what ever you have done please try not to do it again.”

Blargen... Carmen thought to herself. Many times she had been cornered in to telling the story of her scars that riddled her face, arms and torso. By this time, Sakura had launched herself onto Carmen for a friendly supportive hug. "Don't cry for me, it really isn't what you think." hushed the Australian.
Sakura must have thought that the scars were from self-harming ways. "I didn't intend for these. I was in Hogsmeade with Ozzie, and a Lycan attacked me and killed Ozzie. Forgoil came to save me, and got hurt too." Not once had Carmen dared to look at herself in the mirror of the common room. She didn't think she would have the strength for what people gasped about.
