Cloaked. Hidden from everyone it seemed. No one had even noticed her in the Entrance Hall, and it was most likely that no one noticed her now. There Mable sat, furnished in a flowing, cream coloured dress, across her shoulders a mantle was drapped. In her smooth, honey brown locks a mauve butterfly hair pin held a few chunks of hair from her porcelain face.
Glancing around the large room, Mable hoped someone would addess her and help her overcome her shy demenor.

Eleanor walked precariously between the tables, balancing a bowl of rice pudding in the palm of one hand and a plate of corned beef on the other. Her bag was slung over her shoulders, customarily filled to the brim with books, broken quills, and crumpled pieces of parchment. Her calm brown eyes surveyed the Great Hall as she made her way to the Hufflepuff table, a vague smile over her lips as she turned sideways to slide through a group of chattering Gryffindors.
She had just set her bowl down on the end of the table nearest to the doors leading into the castle when her eyes fell on Mable. The girl looked alone, and more than a little nervous. Setting her bag down but keeping a resolute grip on her plate of corned beef (which she would not relinquish for the world), Eleanor maneuvered herself around a clustering of friendly Ravenclaws and then through an assortment of contemptuous Slytherins until she had reached the girl.
"Hey." She smiled, looking back over the rest of the Hall before speaking again. "Want some eats?"

Mable drew her eyes from the grain of the large wooden table and placed her sight on the girl who had approached her.
"Alas...food cannot fill the void that I possess, but it would fill my aching stomach quit well. Where did you get that plate?"
The scent of the hot food aroused her senses and she hungered for it now. Trying to remember the last time she had eaten was difficult. It was on the Hogwarts Express, but that was hours ago. Looking at the girl again she paused for a moment before letting her thoughts escape.
"I apologize for being so rude and not introducing myself, I'm Mable Monjhonet. And who might you be, miss?"

"Ah...well, that's interesting." Eleanor blinked at Mabel's dramatic opening, offering the plate with a renewed smile of happiness. "They're all over the tables...but...oh, you haven't been Sorted yet?" The Hufflepuff realized. No wonder she looked so lonely. She waited for a moment, then realized part of Mabel's last statement could have been a suggestion towards her.
"Oh, I'm sorry! You must think me so rude." She blushed in embarassment, nearly dropping her plate of corned beef as realization dawned. "I'm Eleanor Sel'shea, of Hufflepuff."
