Noriko had just arrived MH and she was already wondering what house she should be in, one that fits her personality. She might not be in a house at all. Noriko was never the one to join groups, she pretty much avoided people because they always ended up aggrivating her in some way. Her attitude was very dangerous to tamper with so normally she'd distance herself from others in order to keep the peace.
She knew that being salty toward people wouldn't make her the "popular" one, but she didn't like to be a people-person. She stood in the middle of the entrance hall looking around with her arms folded. "Well, isn't this a fancy place..." She said sounding mildly intrigued. Noriko was certain she'd be at home here, as long as nobody gave her any problems. Don't get her wrong, she'll talk to you, but not on her own. You have to talk to her first.

Krista watched a girl enter Magic Horizons from afar. She smirked at the girl's simple auroa. Not a girl to mess with, just like Krista herself. Nice if you got to know her, not nice if you didn't. Krista knew this by observing.
She often found herself in the Entrance Hall, greeting the newcomers, checking out the new meat of Magic Horizons.
She smirked before beginning to walk over towards the girl. Krista's black hair got in her face, and she pulled it away. A few strands of green fell into her eyes, although she kept them there, to frame her face. She boots clicked on the ground as she got closer.
Krista was wearing simple blue jeans, held up by a studded belt, and a lime green tank top. She smiled at the girl before finally stopping. "Need some help? I'm Krista, Slytherin house, how about you?" she said easily, so used to greetings by now.

Noriko looked at the brunette with a vacant expression. It was like she came from out of no where. "No, I don't need any help. I was actually just getting a feel for the place...Thank you anyway Krista..." Noriko said looking away from her again. She said with almost no emotion. Noriko walked a little ways away from the girl and looked around the entrance hall.
She didn't usually have actual friends, more like "associates". Noriko didn't want to come off rude but, it was already bad enough that she was new here. She was trying to get used to her surroundings before she got used to the people around her. Noriko hugged herself from a slight chill she got. Her dark grey tank top didn't give much warmth. And her black capri's were only so warm. For the most part, her purple locks came down to the middle of her back and provided some kind of warmth.
Noriko waited there for Krista to reply to her. She wasn't sure if she would say much of anything else to her. Being in a school with so many students, it would be hard not to talk to someone.

"Alright then," Krista said simply. She began to walk away when she turned around, beginning to say something, but then closed her mouth, deciding against it.
"See you around I guess," she said finally.

"Yeah, see you around..." She said stilll looking around the school's architecture. At that moment, something striked her curiousity. "Hey Krista?" She said turning around slightly, just enough to see her. "What's that 'Slytherin' house of yours like?" She said with a devious grin. Just the name in it'self caught her interest.

Krista turned around quickly, a smirk appearing on her features as the girl called her back.
"What's that 'Slytherin' house of yours like?" she had asked before Krista had left.
"Slytherin house...what to say...well...it's by far the best house. Well, that's actually my opinion. But the facts about it, well..." Krista decide how to explain it.
"It was founded by Salazar Slytherin. It's colors are green and silver, and its represented by a snake because Sytherin himself was a parseltonuge, which means he could talk to snakes. Um... That's the history basically."
"You're sorted into houses by your qualities and personaltity. Slytherins are cunning, resourceful, courageous, trouble-makers, sometimes they are mean. Snappy and sarcastic, but if you make friends in Slytherin, you won't be betrayed. You can make your best friends in Slytherin house," she explained.
"Then there's Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Ravenclaw. Each have certain qualities and histories."
She smiled at the girl. "I didn't catch your name, by the way." Smirking, she turned ack towards the girl.

Noriko was interested in the Slytherin house, it fit her just right. Snakes and other threatening creatures were her favorite, the dragon represented her most. In any matter, Noriko was seriously considering getting into Slytherin house. When Krista asked her name, she walked back over to her but stood about a good 3 feet away from her. Noriko's most comfortable distance for her aquaintances.
"Noriko, my name is." She said with a sly smirk. Noriko liked introducing herself, she loved to share her unique name and a bit of her personality when introducing herself. Though she wouldn't be too kind right off the back let alone show happy emotions often, especially to people she didn't care for. Krista seemed to have good intentions and it sounded like the people in Slytherin house did too.
Noriko folded her arms over her chest and began again with a serious/curious approach. " This Slytherin house sounds like home for me...I might consider it, but I want to get some opinions from more than one person on joining houses you know?" She said slightly hiking an eyebrow for emphasis. " So far Slytherin house sounds pretty promising." She said with a confident nod. For a moment it she sounded like she was talking buisness with a company.

Krista laughed. "Interesting name...never heard Noriko before..." she said finally. Noriko seemed to have qualities that matched those that Slytherin house looked for.
"Well, you should definatley consider it, you seem like the type of people we look for."

Noriko made a small chuckle. "I suppose I will." Noriko wanted to have a fun experience here at MH. She would be suprised if there was anyone similar to herself around here. Most of all, she wanted to experience all of the cool things and fun learning experiences here. "So Krista, mind showing me around? Ya know, like a tour." She said in a sort of lazy way and waving her hand downwards for emphasis.
Noriko was pretty sure that she'd be on good terms with Krista. But still, she was highly selective of her friends, mainly because she was a bit of a pariah. She didn't mind having a cool associate, but a friend would be something she'd have to think about. Not that she didn't like having friends or anything, often times people couldn't stand her attitude or they didn't understand her.

"Obviously, I'm not going to leave you here stranded. I leave that for the little worry-warts," she said to Noriko. She headed towards the marble staircase.
"Ready to go?" she asked. "The school is pretty big, so we should get started."

Noriko felt a bit of happiness well up inside of her and she almost made a whole smile, but beat it back some. "Sure, let's get to it." She said walking over to Krista eagerly but trying to make it look otherwise. Noriko couldn't wait until she saw the school, she was amazed at the sight when she came in so she was sure that she'd see some pretty neat things around other places in the school.
Noriko started up the stairs ahead of Krista but still gave her enough space to walk along side her. Though Krista was giving the tour, Noriko liked to be the leader instead of the follower. Of course she would let Krista tell her which ways to go, Noriko didn't know this school's mapping from a box of sand.
