OOC: CONTINUED FROM "TRAITOR IN OUR MIDST", ENTRANCE HALL. hmmm….I wasn’t going to start this thread because I thought someone else would want to, but no one seemed to be in a hurry and I’ve just done five hours of homework ( ) so I wanted something different to do! If it doesn’t work or…something...or if someone else wants to start it instead, it can magically disappear! Just let me know! BIC: The events of the night before had played over again and again in Aednat's mind after she had left the Entrance Hall. She had known there was no sense in trying to sleep straight away- her brain was far too active, she'd never come close to dropping off unless she calmed down. So she'd gone for a walk instead. Aware of how stupid it would be to walk in deserted areas alone, especially in light of why her brain was working overtime, she stuck to areas where she knew she'd find people, even late at night. She had paced up and down the corridor outside the Hospital Wing a few times, she had spent a while in her common room, she had returned to the corridor outside the Hospital Wing... All the while she turned over everything she remembered from the night in her mind. Had Sen said anything at all that would help them before her memory was modified? Not to them, she knew that much. Maybe she had let something slip to Roan before they had arrived. Had that Slytherin who had tried to help Sen said anything to his comrades before they disappeared? Not anything that Aednat had heard, although she strained her memory, wondering if she had heard a whisper, thought it insignificant at the time. It was no use. She focused instead on what they'd be doing in the morning, trying to think of things that would help them succeed in their goal. Two hours later, she knew she had to stop thinking about anything to do with Angelus Morti at all. Her brain would never slow down and let her sleep otherwise...and she needed to sleep if she was going to be in her best physical condition. Aednat might have been the world's greatest idealist and a total dreamer, but even she knew that there wasn't much chance of them simply finding Aylen and the professor and arriving back at the school with no intervention of the part of Angelus Morti and his followers. Their task was dangerous, and although it would be nice not to be discovered as they attempted to carry it out, it was also very unlikely that that would happen. They'd been up late, and they'd be leaving just a few hours, as soon as it was light. That thought in mind, Aednat had returned once more to the common room, and curled up on the floor in front of the fire, a cushion under her head, hoping that the heat from the flames that still crackled even late at night would help lull her to sleep. She had forced herself to think about home, food, sheep jumping over a fence- anything other than something likely to keep her awake. Eventually, she had dropped off. ***** The sun's first rays of the morning crept in through the window, and Aednat woke. It wouldn’t be long now until it would be bright enough for them to leave. There was no point in trying to go back to sleep, even if there was maybe just enough time for another nap. A determined look beginning to form on her face, she mounted the stairs to her dormitory and took a few minutes to prepare herself in any way she could think of. When she arrived in the Entrance Hall not long later, the curly hair that tumbled down over her shoulders as a rule was pulled back and plaited over one shoulder, a green hair-tie securing the end. She wore jeans- the most durable trousers she had, the hardest to cut through. The jumper that she wore was stretchy, giving her room to move, but also warm. In her pocket, she carried a small tin of Vaseline. Muggles used it on their lips, or sore skin, to soothe and moisturise. Aednat knew that when applied to a small skin wound, it would stop bleeding. It wouldn’t be much use for anything bigger than a shallow cut or scrape from a bramble…or claw…though. In all her possessions upstairs, there had been nothing else worth bringing, nothing that would be useful at all. Armed with just the Vaseline, her wand, and herself, she stood in the Entrance Hall, the first to arrive. Waiting, she paced the floor, running through every spell she knew in her head, anything that could help them if they needed it. She reminded herself of where her strengths and weaknesses lay, what she should rely on if she needed to. She was alert and focused…which is why, at the sound of a footfall about to enter the Hall, she spun around, wand held out, eyes flashing, the charm Protego on the tip of her tongue. The figure appeared before her, and the unusually hard look on her face lessened considerably. She lowered her wand. It was another of the group. “Sorry…I’m not sure if I was being safe or paranoid!” she smiled. Hopefully it wouldn’t be too long now until the rest arrived. OOC: And, that done, it’s time for maths… aaaagh!

OOC: nice post Thanks for starting it. "Is that how you greet your current leader?"
The voice was tired, but cheerful. Sylph had spent most of the night running around doing various chores, though they probably couldn't be considered as mundane as this. First she had seen the destruction of one of the school towers, caused by a bomb of some kind, then she had been charged with leadership of the small resistance movement that Aylen had lead before he had been captured; not an easy position for Sylph to hold. Then she had helped Ashlle treat Sen in the hospital wing, before winding up facing a sub-zero demoness in the library and finally spending the remainder of the night researching defensive spells with Roan. By rights Sylph should have been exhausted, but fortunately today was a Sunday, and she had spent most of the previous day asleep anyway. Besides, Aylen had to be found, and there was no time like the present.
In preparation for the hunt, as it were, Sylph had dressed in muggle gear. She had never liked wearing robes, and jeans were easier to move in anyway. Today she donned a pair of comfortable trainers - who knew if they'd have to do some running? - an old pair of faded black jeans - just the thing if you were likely to be messing about in the graveyard or wherever else Aylen could be held - and a black long sleeved shirt over a t-shirt - for warmth. She also wore a pair of arm-guards of brown leather, something she had not taken off since her second arrival at MH. A bag was slung over her shoulder, containing various useful supplies - food and water (for Aylen - he had been gone for a while now), bandages, and, though it may or may not come in handy, her invisibility cloak. Her wand, however, was stowed in her back pocket, ready for use, and on her shoulder was perched Aylen's messenger hawk, Mercury. It was on this tempermental merlin that she rested their hopes of finding her friend. No doubt her own osprey would have something to say about her having another bird with her - if he could talk of course - but as needs must, and Sylph knew necessity when she saw it.
Before her she grinned at Aednat. The girl was clearly ready for the fight; her face was fixed in a determined expression, and her wand was pointing directly at the approaching Sylph.
"Safe, I think," she replied in her characteristically wry voice. "But you can probably leave the cautiousness until we're all outside. I don't think we'll see any threats until we leave the castle."

After Ashlle had been sure that Kasey and Shea could keep Sen safe she'd left to get into Hunter Gear. It had arrived while they'd been treating send thought Ashlle hadn't gotten to look at it till she'd been aloud to go to her Loft room in the Gryffindor Tower. The newest Hunter List. Ashlle had opened it eagerly, hoping her new quarry would be on it. And so it was, unfortunately he was at the top, and there fore something she (a Ninth Class assassin) shouldn’t be attempting; Fenris Fenrir, Lycan - Consider him Armed and Dangerous, also any who aide him or any he appears to take orders from should be Considered his allies and there for Acceptable Targets. Damn, that meant Angelus Morti's entire group was her Target, though mostly Fenris Fenrir. This was crazy! Why was she risking her career and life over a boy? "Crushes are for babies" she told herself, as she loaded her gun with sliver bullets. She shined her sword and made she her Holy Water Vials were all filled and within a reasonable date. Then she dressed in her inner hunter outfit; She then put on her waist hunter belt, witch held her gun, her vials of holy water. Around her leg she fastened her wand holster, which was magicked to be flexible yet to never let her wand break. Then she put her Hunter Robe on which was not unlike the one used in the Triwizard Tournament being light and airy, yet durable and fire proof. "Besides that he doesn't even know I exist." she added, as she put on her over-the-shoulder cross bow that fired, not arrows but blessed, holy water washed stakes. Knowing she couldn't carry everything she had only one loaded and three more on the belt. She made sure the safety was on. She then put on her Sword, the one Kezaa had taught her to slash a dummy in two with. "It's now or never Kezaa" she added, meaning that what he taught her was about to be put into practice as Gavin had wanted all along. No more rules, just real fighting. Once she left the Tower she ran back to the Hospital Wing and filled her satchel with one of almost everything she could lay her hands on from Pepper-up Potion to Burnie's Brilliant Burn Balm and everything in between. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ "'Morning" said Ashlle darkly as she walked down the stair into the Entrance Hall. Her insides were churning. This was NOT something she wanted to do. But Aylen was in trouble and even if he didn't notice her, he was her friend. Why did friends always have to get into so much trouble. "I'm not doing this for him you know," she lied the others "It just so happens that the new list came out last night and Fenris Fenrir and his friends were at the top of it. If you don't believe me you can read it for yourself." and she held out the paper for whomever needed proof. With all her equipment she looked very terrible, but her pale skin, (paler than usual) betrayed her fear. "If anyone wants to be in charge of this" she said indicating the healing satchel "Then take it now. I've stuffed it with just about every Healing potion or Remedy anyone might need. And don't worry, the instructions should be on the back of each one."

ooc: thanks for starting it? believe me when I say that it was a very welcome break... "Is that how you greet your current leader?" It was Sylph, of course. Aednat smiled a little ruefully, but her smile also showed that she was glad to see the other girl. And there, on Sylph's shoulder, perched another welcome sight. It was the bird that had arrived yesterday, the one that the others recognised as Aylen's- the one that they all recognised as their best hope to find the boy, wherever he was being held. Blue eyes gazed seriously at the bird for a moment, wondering if he really could lead them to Aylen. Aednat had no doubts that the hawk was very clever, and she was one of the people who believed that humans, (wizards and Muggles alike), frequently underestimated the intelligence of animals. She just hoped that Mercury would chose this morning to prove his intelligence. "Well, I'm not sure what usual protocol is," she replied, rolling her eyes at herself. In response to Aednat's statement, Sylph had said "Safe, I think. But you can probably leave the cautiousness until we're all outside. I don't think we'll see any threats until we leave the castle."Reflecting on her leader's words, a look that held both determination and disappointment formed on the petite brunette's face again. "Well, I was going over defensive spells and all the curses and jinxes and hexes I know...I suppose I was caught up in the moment. You're right, I don't think we can expect trouble yet, not here. But... well, now we know that there are enemies within the castle too. People in close contact with us...and they...I still can't beilieve her!" The final words were spoken through clenched teeth. She referred, of course, to Sen. The arrival of Ashlle, however, stopped any further comment on her part. That in itself was possibly a good thing, for thinking of such betrayal by a fellow Gryffindor served to make Aednat both furious and miserably disappointed. It did make her determined too, though- determined to try to undo whatever awful work Sen had done. Ashlle's one-word greeting was enough to make her dark mood plainly obvious. "You too," she replied, more welcoming, though it wouldn't have been hard. Ashlle immediately launched into a statement about how she wasn't doing this for Aylen, but because Fenris and his gang were on her new list. Aednat raised an eyebrow. When people tried to deny things that others hadn't even accused them of, it smelled immediately like a cover-up. Maybe there was something between the two that Aednat didn't know about... "I don't need to see it," she shrugged as Ashlle offered to show them the paper. The healing satchel, however, was a different matter. She considered the matter for a moment. Whoever took it would be burdened, to a certain extent, by it. It would make the bearer tire more easily if it was heavy, and whether heavy or not it would limit flexiblity and mobility, which they were going to need if they came to the almost inevitable fight. Aednat didn't know who was coming this morning. She presumed that everyone from last night would show, and maybe more. Would some of them, like Forgoil, be injured or slightly weaker than usual? Was Forgoil coming, actually? She didn't even know that much. Should, in that case, someone take the satchel who was quick at fighting and quick on their feet? The weaker, that way, wouldn't have the extra weight. Or should it be given to someone who wasn't going to be the quickest anyway, in the hopes that those unburdened would be able to use that to their advantage and try to defend the lot of them? Should they take it at all? Yes, it was a good idea, but if all came to all and they ended up in combat, would they even have time to make use of it? Undecided, she turned back to Sylph. "Well, chief, it's up to you," she grinned, some of her usual sparkle back as she spoke to these two- it took her mind off people like Sen. "I'll take it if you want me to, and I'm sure everyone else will feel the same. I could take it because I'm as fit as I'll ever be so it won't bother me too much. On the other hand, maybe you don't want people who are fit to have extra weight. 'S up to you!"

I see no bravery in your eyes any more...It had gone. Once again, the famed bravery of the Gryffindor house had failed her in its time of need. How pathetic. Hayzie had experienced an uneasy night, her head filled with possible scenarios of what could happen the following morning, none of which was welcomed by the blonde girl, none of which she wanted to happen. There had to be a way to stop it from happening. But Hayz knew from experience that Sylph and the others would not give up until they reached their goal, and the Head Girl felt immensely selfish for not wanting to go and rescue her friends, friends which everyone else knew and loved.. and yet Hayzie felt doubt riddle through her. Waking up from another nightmare, green eyes looked at the clock. Seven forty-five. It seemed some of the Gryffindor house were moving, too, though a lot earlier than normal. Swallowing uneasily, Hayzie closed her eyes again. Today was the day. Fifteen minuted later, the girl was hovering into the Entrance Hall after having finally managed to work out the controls of the Hovermatic. Smiling slightly to the three already there, Hayz wondered what they were thinking inside, if pre-raid jitters had gripped hold of their insides and began twisting round their intestines yet. Hayz knew that that was how she was feeling. Going back to the Graveyard would unearth those memories she had tried to keep to the back of her mind. As little as had happened that night, the blonde girl still hated to think back on it. "Morning," Hayzie almost whispered, her face paler than normal. I see no bravery in your eyes any more...
Only sadness

Mercury
The hawk cocked his head this way and that, shifting on his feet. They were going to do something important soon, he could feel it. The atmosphere was so thick with tension he wasn't sure how anyone could move in it at all. However, it was somewhat of an improvement compared to the night before.
Sylph had locked him in the Gryffindor girl's dorms. She had told him to stay put--not that he could go anywhere--and shut the windows and doors. He would never admit it, but the merlin had a sudden bout of claustrophobia and proceeded to make a fine mess of the room. The other girls weren't too happy about it, of course, but they couldn't blame him, could they? He was in distress. Aylen always let him do what he pleased in his free time. The hawk had been grumbling all morning.
Now, however, the seriousness of the situation had overidden his peevishness. Mercury searched each of the others' faces curiously. This was similar to the feeling hovering over the Hawkins twins' heads when they fought recently, only he was sure this was much more important. They always made up again after their disagreements; would these people solve their argument with whomever they were disagreeing with?

Roan was lying on her bed when the alarm went off, loud blaring and annoying. 7:30 AM, she had slept for an hour in the last two days. It had been a rough night, and she was face-first in her pillow, groaning before she got up to go downstairs. Her messy brown hair spilled forward as she grabbed some clothes out of her trunk. Jeans, a sweater, her cloak, her boots, and leather gloves. At the bottom was a knife hanging from a belt, that she grabbed too. Everything went on, the sweater a dark unbroken black, as were the gloves. Her wand was safely tucked and secured in a loop on her belt, easy to reach if needed. With a sigh the 'Puff put her brown hair up into a ponytail before striding over to her desk to pick up a bag she had packed before falling asleep. All this done, she headed downstairs into the Entrance Hall to meet the rest of the Resistance.
Brought into greater light, someone would easily see the haunted look in her hazel eyes brought about by the nights hallucinations and flashbacks. There were lines on her face from stress, and a small strip of white could be seen at the bottom of her sweater where Roan had tied up a piece of her bedsheet and tied it around her waist as a make-shift bandage for the night's previous injuries. All in all though, she strode with confidence and strength, trying to mask all weakness in her body. The bag on her shoulder was black, and things inside it shifted as she approaced the group. When she was nearby, Roan nodded to each of them in turn, not even bothering to put a fake smile on her face. Finally she looked at Sylph. "Captain." She said quietly.
There was a quick flash of concern on her face looking around. "Are there more coming?" She asked tenatively, hoping they honestly werent striding into the graveyard with 5 people and a bird. That would be plain suicide. Roan shrugged it off and dove a hand into her bag, pulling out several maps of the graveyard, and holding them out to Sylph. "I made copies of these last night before going to sleep, you are the Captain, its up to you to tell us what the plan of action is here, if we even have one. I also have spell lists with me if you want people to look over them. I brought as much as my research as I could, we are going to need all of the help we can get." Roan said quietly, her hand still outstretched to Sylph with the maps in them. She had told the girl her ideas last night, it was up to the Captain if she wanted to use any of them.
This was going to be tough. Once in the graveyard, this group would depend on each other more than anything. Roan found it hard to believe she had to trust Ashlle, the arrogant little girl she aboslutley hated. But the 'Puff cared about Aylen. After her 1st attack by Fenris, the boy had made her laugh in Hogsmeade and brought her out of a depressing mood. And then he had spoken so strongly to bring this Resistance together. He was worth saving, Roan would give her life for him if the time came here. They needed someone as strong as Aylen to lead them against Angelus Morti. "Its going to be a long morning..." She whispered, waiting for everyone's reaction. Hopefully lack of sleep wouldnt change her targeting with the wand or ability to think, everyone needed to be alert.

They probably had enough people now, Sylph thought. Aednat certainly was keen, and noone could doubt Ashlle's courage. Her face may have been pale with apprehension, but she was determined to go anyway, and despite her young age, Sylph knew she was the daughter of hunters, and could prove very useful - especially if her kit was anything to go by. Of couse, she didn't believe her given reasons for going - Ashlle was a Gryffindor, and a friend of Aylen's - that was why she was here. Well, that or she's just spoiling for a fight, Sylph added to herself wryly. The only problem was that her and Roan - who Sylph would not have left behind for anything - didn't like each other, and that was putting it mildly. Sylph hoped that they'd stay off each others' throats, for the next few hours, anyway, else nothing would get done.
Hayzie on the other hand, didn't seem keen. Sylph knew the head girl had reservations about this expedition, and by the look in her eyes didn't want to return to the scene of her previous traumas. It had been a tough past year for the blonde girl, so Sylph decided to give her a route out - should she choose to take it.
"Hey, Hayz," she said, turning to the head girl, making her voice soft and apologetic. "There might be some more people turning up, but we really need to get going. Could you stay here and get them together for us? A smaller group will be better for moving around quickly and quietly; we can handle ourselves fine. If we get into trouble we'll send a message or send up sparks, and you can come help us out - having a back up group is a good idea, don't ya think? Would that be alright? I don't want to deprive you of any adventure or anything."
Next she turned to the others.
"Ok, Aednat, you take the medical stuff, Roan's got her stuff, and Ashlle's all kitted out. Is everyone ready?" Sylph grinned her characteristic devil-may-care grin; it was clear that she for one was leaving happily, unafraid and fierce, glad to be finally doing something rather than just talking about. She held out her gloved arm for Mecury to hop on to, tossing him one of Dylan's bird treats.
"Lead on then boy," she told the hawk. "Take us to where Aylen is."
OOC: Alyen, start a thread where you want us to go... we'll follow.

Relief couldn't have been more evident in the girl's eyes if she had been trying. Nodding with a small smile, Hayzie looked at the Captain. "Just... be careful, okay? Don't do anything I wouldn't do," she added as her smile turned almost wry. Sylph, Roan, Ashlle and Aednat... not forgetting Dylan... not a better group could have gone out.
All she had to do was wait, watch and hope.
ooc: Gack, sorry...

Oh for the love of thought Ashlle as she handed the magically light satchel to Aednat. Roan was still at it. There was no way she was going into this with Roan and her chip on her shoulder. She'd gladly go with Roan but not Roan and the chip.
"Listen," she said to her, "I honestly don't know why you don't like me. Please, if I've done something, let me apologize and we can get on with it. I personally feel very nervous about going into something like this with someone who has a problem with me. If the situation occurs where you are the only one who can bail me out, you might not do it and that might be the end of me. Just the thought of such an eventuality is giving me shivers. Don't you think we should resolve this?"
Ashlle gave Roan a earnest look, never in her life had she been so sincere. It wasn't that she thought that such a happening was likely but the possibilities were fifty/fifty at this point. Not knowing how many followers Angelus Morti had and not knowing how many of them were as potent as Fenris Fenirir made for bad odds.

Roan felt a pang in her heart as Hayzie was asked to stay behind. It was sad, they needed as many people as possible. Now they were only going down with four, and one the girl couldnt even stand. She shot a glare at the nurse, her hazel eyes annoyed and tired, not wantind to deal with this. "Listen, just stay away from me Ashlle. I wont let anything hurt you, but you leave me alone. I wont deal with any of your nonsense right now, Im far too stressed and far too tired." She snapped at the Gryffindor, not wanting to put another thing on her plate to worry about. With a sigh she placed the maps back into her bag, it seemed Sylph didnt need them or the spell lists. All that work for nothing, what else is new. Maybe I should even go. Roan thought with remorse, shutting the bag back up and putting her hands on her hips, waiting. But something came to mind that made her face go even paler, if thats even possible.
If Ashlle was down here, and Sylph was down here...Roan's head perked up, her hazel eyes alight. "You guys, who is watching Sen?" She asked with panic. Shae might be, but no offense to the nurse, she was a ghost. There wasnt much she could do to stop an angry student from leaving the Hospital Wing. And the head nurses werent in there either as far as Roan knew. She gave a half-groan, half-sigh, running her hands through her hair. Tears almost sprung to her eyes but she held them back. It was just too much to deal with, first the graveyard, and now someone wasnt watching the known traitor to the school. Even if Sen's memories had been erased, her intuition and consciouse hadnt. Roan could bet that the little girl would try and escape with all of the Resistance Members gone.
The 'Puff tore off her shoulder bag and threw it by the base of the stairs, checking to make sure her dagger and wand were both at her side. Sen might not remember why Roan attacked her, but she would certainly remember that the girl was at fault for her burns. The Gryffindor would be praying for those burns if Roan found that she escaped or even tried. This Graveyard expidition was going to be hard as it was, they didnt need some traitor to come in and ruin it all. The girl pointed at the bag. "All the maps and spells are in there if you want to use them, if not then just leave it. Ill pick it up on my way out. Im going to go and check on our little traitor, and she had better be in that Hospital Wing or God pity her because I sure as hell wont." She growled. Even if Sen didnt escape, Roan had questions that needed to be asked.
"Go ahead without me, Ill catch up. I know my way there, and will follow my ears to you. Good luck and dont get yourselves injured." She said, turning around and heading up the stairs to the Hospital Wing, muttering curses as she went. Why didnt she realize it earlier? Sen was a major thing on her mind, and this Resistance didnt have the sense to set a guard on her. Even with memory erasing. They needed to get organized if they wanted to win this war, or the enemy would just massacre them.
OOC: Im sorry about leaving you guys >.< I need to be set up in case Sen makes a break for it.

OOC: Roan, The thread with Sen isn't over yet! I was planing to get Kasey to watch Sen and Sylph chained her to the bed anyway! You may not have faith in Ashlle but have some faith in me (=Ashlee, the author).
BIC: "Roan, come back!" cried Ashlle "Kasey the Head Nurse is watching Sen. I can't believe you'd think so little of me when Kasey thinks so highly of me. Besides Sylph chained her to the bed, last night, and she has no wand to free herself."
Ashlle was reassured that Roan wouldn't let her be killed just because she didn't like her, but not trusting her as a healer, rent Ashlle like a knife. How Dare She! When Kasey had gone it had been only she and Shea for a while and she'd cured many a Student. In fact she'd made friends with Kira that way. The poor Blind girl had come in starving because she couldn't find the Great Hall and Ashlle had giving her the Talking Cane, not to mention a good lunch.

OOC: I know Kasey may be watching her, but Sen has told us she is going to try and make a break for it OOC, and who knows what she can come up with, if she tries or succeeds, I want to be ready. Worse comes to worse, Roan comes down to the graveyard after seeing she is still there
Ashlle's words hit her when she was at the top of the staircase, and Roan's hands went into fists. Her body started shaking with rage. Calm, calm, you dont have time for this, calm down. The 'Puff was desperatley trying to calm herself down, and make her feet move so that she could walk to the Hospital Wing. But she couldnt, the brunette lost it and turned around, her brown hair whipping as she did so. If the Gryffindor didnt notice how tired and stressed Roan was, then she was a fool. And she was even more foolish if she didnt know that Roan didnt take things like that lightly, especially not in this mood. The Gryffindor was about to get a taste of what happened when you seriously ticked this girl off.
"What is the one thing I requested of you? Leave me be. Well you have broken it. And you know what Ashlle, other people's faiths in you has nothing, I repeat, nothing to do with how I think of you. Its your actions alone that determine that, and with every passing moment you make me more and more want to shoot you with a fire spell myself. So if you are smart you will keep your mouth shut around me or you will find a stunning spell or something worse 'accidentally' hitting you when we go out into the graveyard today." The 'Puff yelled, heading down the stairs to stand right in front of Ashlle, her hazel eyes flashing with anger. The nurse picked a bad time to anger Roan, she hadnt slept in a couple of days and was just lucky to not be slipping in and out of Hallucinations and Flashbacks. There was very little keeping the 'Puff from blasting Ashlle then and there without a care in her heart.
"Sen was...is...a member of Angelus Morti. We cannot trust one person in watching her, especially a nurse. A nurse has several patients to attend to, not just one traitor. And from my expieriance, you nurses spend more time in your offices then in the actual infirmanry where the girl is held. Now, this girl was clever enough to get around the school and help Angelus Morti without our knowing. Do you really think she cannot get out of a chain and a one person watch. Do you really think she was smart enough to go with just a wand? And even weaponless, I know as well as the next you do not need a weapon in your hand to do damage. She being held in a Hospital Wing with syringes, and muggle hospital tools for people like me who cannot stand your magical treatments. Plus potions that can induce sleep and other things. Sen is a clever girl, and if there is only one guard on her then we are stupid. Im going up to check on her whether you want me to or not Ashlle." Roan was yelling still, her eyes directly on the nurses, then she turned and headed halfway up the stairs again.
"So like I said earlier, do not speak to me Ashlle, for I am very, very close to trying a few of my new spells on you, and it wouldnt even be that hard. One other thing, if Im injured when I make my way down to the graveyard, dont touch me, I hate your magical treatments and would rather let an ogre do it. I can wait till I get to the Hospital Wing if anything happens. Now Ill catch up with all of you later, I must check on our little traitor." Roan said with a smirk, her hazel eyes concentrated on Ashlle.

Mercury
Making the jump across the space between Sylph’s arm and shoulder, his talons gripped the leather-clad hand. Snapping up the treat, Mercury blinked as he swallowed. The bird seemed to put on a hawk version of Sylph’s famous expression. Shifting so he faced the Entrance Hall doors like some kind of compass, he squawked, indicating that they should go outside.
However, before the group could get moving, two of them began squabbling. The bird put a wing over his head in an oddly human gesture. Mercury wasn’t sure what they were arguing about, but he was positive it wasn’t worth it; and he wasn’t afraid to show what he thought of situations. Doing what he would normally do if Aidana and Aylen arguing about something he thought was useless, he took flight and gave both Ashlle and Roan a good sharp peck on their skulls. Perching on the banister between the two, he complained loudly in a combination of squawks and screeches. He wasn’t there to judge them, of course; he could care less who started what or who was at fault. Both their voices were giving him a headache, therefore both were pecked.
If merlins could sniff in annoyance, Mercury would have. They were just like bickering little chicks. He then cocked his head as if he remembered something. There were four baby chicks...the bird seemed to scowl in annoyance. He had promised to take care of those chicks, but with both Aylen and Talon gone, he had to do all the work. He didn’t have time for this. Ah, well, change in plans. Mercury began hopping along the banister in the direction of the classrooms, muttering to himself.

If Sylph had been a hawk like Mercury, she would have done the same thing. Not now she thought at the squabbling pair angrily. They didn't have time for this.
"Roan, get back here!" she shouted after the fleeing girl, but to no avail. Sylph cursed under her breath. Now they were only three, and that was unlikely to be enough should they need to defend themselves. Grumbling and muttering something about listening to their captain, Sylph picked up Roan's satchel where she had dumped it and slung it grouchily over her shoulder along with her own bag. Even the sight Mercury pecking people on the head didn't cheer her.
"Right," she said, her voice now brisk and cold. "Ashlle, Aednat, let's go. There's no time to waste, even if we are one down." Unfortunately, things still weren't going Sylph's way; Mercury began hopping off away from them, up the stairs.
"Oi, hawk-boy, get back here!" Sylph cried at the retreating bird, a hint of desperation in her voice now, but Mercury ignored her. With a slight strangled cry, Sylph chased after him, wondering where on earth he was leading them.
OOC: ick, sucky post. But, uh, where are you leading us Ayl- I mean Mercury?!
