With unsolvable answers, Clues will fine each other, And members that belong To the Monolayre family?
Why didn't anybody tell him? Keagan didn't understand, Or even know about the explanation, Somewhere in the magical world, Was a person he didn't know about? And they didn't know him?
The winds were blowing at top speed, as the cold impact his body. A boy was walking down a narrow pathway, which didn't have much affect expect the compress snow that showed his footsteps and made a crunch noise. The castle wasn't in sight because he still had a long way to go with the push of every stride. Keagan Monolayre was only at the village of Hogsmeade when he looked down at his watch, which wasn't working because of the blizzard. The old sign pointed him to the directions of Magic Horizon's. Most likely he would arrive at midnight or earlier depending if the weather would just clam down. Shops were closed and as he walked by the Three Broomsticks, Zonko's and a shop for Qudditch Supplies and there are plenty more to name and visit but that was for another day. A foolish mistake of wearing a winter cloak and black robes. Would Keagan regret it, probably not, his main reason was getting to the school on time. This might even lead the student to be adventurous. Two stone pillars, one on the left and the other on the right. A half way point from the castle, but still he had at least a half an hour to forty five minute walk, in these horrible winter conditions. There was no pathway from this point on, nobody had walked in the fresh white power that was blowing frequently. A frozen lake that was cover in snow and capable to walk on, which he did because it would cut the length of his travel in half. It was slippery, but he so much fun with himself. The castle was finally in view, with some lit windows and would the castle doors be locked? He didn't want the doors to be locked, or spend another hour outside either. The weather was annoying him, so he decided to run a bit hoping that he wouldn't trip or fall, if he did then it most ways the auburn boy would just laugh and would continue on in the run. At last Keagan Monolayre had reached the castle doors swinging them open with his remaining strength and walking in. The halls were dark and empty, portraits were asleep and some of them were snoring and others gave him a confused look. "Lumen" A shot of light came out of his wand, "Turn that thing out..." It came from a portrait, some were upset and others were still a sleep. All you could see was a male figure that stood out, wearing black robes but blended into the darkness well. "Would anybody else, be up this late?" Keagan whispered to himself.

Krista DiGloria was fast asleep in her bed. But not for long. "Ah!" she screamed, and fell out of her bed. 'It's that same dream again...' she thought. She picked herself up.
She looked around the room to make sure her roomates were still asleep. She walked quietly to her trunk and rummaged through it for a moment. She eventually pulled out black robes. She swung them over her shorts and tank top and tied them.
She crept on tip toes out of the room and down the staircase to the common room. The embers in the grate were barely ablaze. 'Hm...I'm hungry...' Krista decided and set off at once.
she grabbed her shoes, which were at the entrance to the common room where she had kicked them off, and slipped into them. She quietly slid out of the common room and into the drafty dungeon corridor.
She walked slowly up the steps, checking for prefects as she went. she began to make her way to the kitchen, where she could get a midnight snack for herself.
She had made it halfway to the kitchen through the entrance hall when she saw someone enter the door. "Damn," she whispered and hid behind a statue of a hag.
She got a better look. On second thought, it wasn't a prefect. A new kid maybe, so late at night? Odd...
She slid out of the shadows and peered closer. She edged closer, and noticed it was a boy, who looked very cold.
"What are you doing out so late?" she asked, getting close enough to whisper to the boy without being heard by prefects who may be lurking around.

Heidi could have been found in the Great Hall, she was sitting there alone thinking about the students, the houses and questioning the house she was in.
It was getting very late and she knew that if a prefect or headgirl or boy was to come walking in she would be finding herself in alot of trouble and even lose points for her house, but for some reason Heidi didn't care.
Sitting on the long table that was so well known to the Slytherin students, Heidi watched the sky above and the snow being whipped around I am so happy I am not out there right now, I hope it will clear out by tomorrow Heidi said to herself, when she heard someone walking past towards the Entrance Hall.
Running to the door she saw a girl walk past not one of the prefects, so Heidi thought she may just follow.
Heidi was wearing her favourite tight black jeans and a Black t-shirt that read The Used. Her long purple hair was down and straight something that only happened when she was not feeling lazy, Her purple eyes watched the girl like a hawk when she noticed her start to talk to a guy that had just walked in.
Thinking that she shouldn't be rude any longer she walked up to the two and smiled "Hello I am Heidi, Slytherin student, pleasure to meet you both" Heidi said placing out her hand for both of them to shake

"Slytherin as well, 4th year," Krista said, turning the girl who had sneaked up behind her. She turned back to the boy.
"Who are you, by the way?" she asked.

OOC: Anyone that's writes about avoiding prefects is sure to find them. IC: Bored, Teagan was reading over a chapter in her notoriously thick potions book. Though she admired the subject, she really needed to find some other more entertaining excuse to avoid people. After all, a person could only read textbooks for so long before her body was threatening to pass out to avoid the hundreds of lament repetitive words laying in front of the reader's drooping eyes. At first, reading constantly was a good way to be alone and help your grades. Away from prefect duties, eating, sleeping, homework, classes, and other common things, reading books or textbooks what what the prefect had started spending most of her free time doing. It was good. After reading through most of your textbooks at least ones and chapters plenty of times, though, it didn't take much for a person to quickly decide that they needed a new hobby.
As for something else to let Teagan spend her part of the never-ending time for, she was normally constrained to the basic things and the pattern she went through ever day. She was a quidditch captain, but, since quidditch matches weren't very often, there was little need for any practice. In fact, there weren't very many people urging to have a practice, either, especially in the frozen air and landscape outdoors. The first snowfall had started during the first match of the season, actually, with Ravenclaw versus Gryffindor; fortunately, with most of the team missing, Teagan had managed to pull off a win after switching her position to seeker mid-game. Personally, she didn't like playing seeker; she found that being a beater was much more entertaining in her dull life. Who wouldn't enjoy whacking absurd black enchanted balls into people flying on thin sticks through the air?
Teagan's stressed eyes were now more violet than red, as they usually became when something was aggravating her. There was no way that she'd be capable of reading any more of that book without unpleasantly dozing off. Thus, she put it away with her other texts, stretched out her mobile limbs, and lazily glanced around the common room. Her dark lashes shielded her sleepy eyes in the dainty amount of light still issuing from the dying fire in the dirty fireplace. After calmly flexing her stiffened fingers, the young prefect decided that she still had no desire for sleep; perhaps, that was what happened when a person took a long nap in the afternoon so others would leave her alone. Well, duh. What do you expect to happen when you'd rather stay up late with no one nearby than hassle yourself with work after your last class?
Waving her arms gently, black cloth serenely swayed over them and, when they stopped, quietly dripped down to her pale knuckles which then led down her spidery fingers and to her firm nails. Gently, she moved her slender fingers and brushed some of her lengthy red bangs from her unpleasant eyes. There was little left to do. Of course, she could always venture to the empty (usually empty) Prefects' Bath and, perhaps, relax in its bubbling waters. Either that, or she could have an excursion around the school in such a late time of night; there was a very good chance that new students would appear, seeing as they had a remarkably odd tendency to show about this time. Unsurprisingly, during night-time visits was usually when she helped newer students get to the place they needed to be; in other words, into their common rooms.
Deftly stepping out from behind their knight, the prefect began to quietly walked toward the Entrance Hall. She liked being a prefect, even though she originally didn't wish to be one because she could walk around the school as late as she wanted to after hours. Of course, going out into the grounds was another matter; she preferred staying in an area where she was less likely to freeze to death in the cold. Anyway, it was always fun giving the students sneaking around late a good reason to scuttle back to their common rooms. Even though neither of the Ravenclaw prefects minded people roaming the halls during the darkest hours, it was something that could be used to pass the time.
Silently, she walked out into the deeper shadows of the Entrance Hall and gazed at the group that had come there; it seemed as if nearly every patrol had the same routine of asking why they were up so late, very long introductions of names by everyone nearby, and scaring those their out of their wits by having a prefect catch them. Though Teagan normally walked around with her badge hidden deep within her jean pocket, she was now wearing it, and its simple shape faintly gleamed in the little light nearby.
Another girl appeared from the opposite hall near where the Slytherin common room was rumored to be and introduced herself as Heidi, a Slytherin student, to the boy and girl who had showed before Teagan had walked over there. The original girl said that she was a fourth year Slytherin, but didn't mention her name... It had been a while since the prefect got to play with Slytherin students; Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs often roamed around the halls, protective of their palace.
Lightly enjoying the change from her dull books, the prefect gazed at them from the shadows with mere interested hidden beneath her eyes. Delicately, she maneuvered her slender feet to carry her toward the little group with, of course, no sound being made. At most, she would only be seen by the boy, as he was the only one facing anywhere near her direction. Apparently, black's in fashion, she teased. Normally apathetic, she was entertaining herself with the little enjoyment that appeared before her. One girl was wearing a black tee shirt, and the other boy and girl were both wearing black robes. Even Teagan was wearing black, though it was a long-sleeved Muggle shirt, and she wasn't bothering with robes. Carelessly, her wand was wrapped in her right palm, ready for action if necessary; surely, there would be no need for it, as usual.
Soundlessly stepping not too far behind the two girls, the Ravenclaw prefect smirked; there was no way they could have known she was there until she spoke. "Shouldn't you all be in bed right about now? One student can have the excuse of helping a new arrival, but, for two out of bed, that's not a good excuse." Not a person for talking too much, her eyes coolly moved between the two girls, one in her year, the other only in her first. As for the boy, he was wearing a winter cloak and was layered in melted snow. Maybe the rumors about girls suddenly swarming around a boy as soon as he appeared were true; for some reason, there were many more witches at the school than wizards.
In the steady shadows that neatly filled most of the hall, it was nearly impossibly to see any characteristics of the people there, but Teagan, like other members of her pure-blood family, could see motion pretty easily; unfortunately, that didn't include seeing specifics of the people nearby. Like them, her own face remained unsee-able.

((OOC- Where trouble brews, Teagan goes. And I mean that as a compliment.))
Krista heard the voice cut through the silence like a blade cutting through bread. And the bread wasn't very thick either, in the first place.
Krista wheeled around to come face to face with Teagan, whom Krista already knew to be a Ravenclaw prefect. She knew many of the Ravenclaws herself, and didn't find them as much of a nuisance as the rest of the houses, excluding her own.
Her face clearly shown shock, she didn't need a mirror to know that. Obviously, there must have been prefects about, she was being ridiculous. She shouldn't have stopped for anything.
"Well, I'm sure this looks like we're out after hours. Of course, because we are," Krista muttered. "But I awoke and felt slightly ill, so came to get a glass of water, and I found him," she said, pointing towards the still name-less boy, "wet and standing here alone. And she," poitning to Heidi, "just showed up."
She tried to put on her best innocent face. "You aren't going to get us into trouble, are you Teagan?" she said sweetly.

A lone for only a couple minutes, when students were starting to break curfew already. Keagan could probably make up an excuse like "I was looking for my way to this witch craft and wizardry school, when I got lost and a witch pointed me in the wrong direction." Or they could just let him go with out any questions at all. Keagan was cold, but didn't mine at all. The wet snow started to melt making a large clear puddle. At the time being there was no prefects to be seen but maybe one would show up. The portraits were getting madder so he gave his wand a shake and the Lemon spell went out. They smiled and all went back to their business of getting some sleep for the next day. When the portraits went back to sleep, he saw a couple of girls breaking school curfew. They were breaking curfew but it didn't look like they were going anywhere until they saw him and enter the entrance hall, waiting to greet him. Keagan Monolayre smiled at the two other girls and though about the questions that he might as well answer, he didn't want to be rude at all, but he was kind of half a sleep. One of the girls had light blond hair with green eyes with a black top and shorts that didn't match. At this time he didn't care because they were lonely the girl's pajamas and the other girl who had light violet hair with violet eyes had black robes that had a symbol of Slytherin across it. Keagan was predicting that Krista was from the house of Slytherin too because it looked like they knew each other. As for himself he didn't know which house but so far the Monolayre's had a good prediction of the status of Ravenclaw. A clever house that loved to read and get a long well with others. With plenty of homework to keep her mines busy and another reason was they could have lots of fun on the weekends. It might sound crazy but Keagan wanted to be sorted into Ravenclaw. They were soon joined by other person; you didn't know that she was there until these words came out "Shouldn't you all be in bed right about now? "One student can have the excuse of helping a new arrival, but, for two out of bed, that's not a good excuse." A girl stood there in a black muggle top with plants and a badge stood out that showed Ravenclaw Prefect. Which meant trouble, any one could handle her but the best thing to do was just answer her questions and fellow long. With red hair and eyes that were the exact same color as his, she seemed different from the others. Eyes that weren't lonely red but you could see they were almost turning violet, which reminded Keagan of the Monolayre Family Secret? Keagan thought about the Ministry and how could any body else get violet eyes with out the Ministry of Magic who was a Ministress. Did she had permission? Let's forget about it?Now back to questions that didn't have time to response to and thought it about it for a while. One had asked him "What are you doing out so late?" and the other girl had introduced herself. It was pleasure to meet both of them at his time of hour, even if they were going to get in trouble. "Well, I was suppose to come earlier, but this weather drove me to latest hour possible?" he said to Krista and for the others he might as well introduce himself, but weather to say his last name wasn't a a willing go at this late night. "Keagan." was what he just say and hoping that he didn't have to repeat it, because that would annoy him even more. OOC: Fixed my horrible Grammar ...

Krista looked at the boy, who called himself Keagan, and then back at Teagan the prefect. Hopefully they wouldn;t get into much trouble.
"I'm Krista," she said, and then tried to flash another innocent smile at Teagan, while really cursing her for finding the little group. Of course, Krista knew, they were out right in the open of the entrance hall.

OOC: Compliment accepted. Apparently, my grammar issues are well-heard of. IC: The girl who said she was in Teagan's year ungracefully sped around with blond hair rapidly dancing in the little light that managed to snatch it. Her expression was one of terror. It was quite interesting, actually; the prefect usually didn't have the enjoyable opportunity to sneak up on students and scare them that much out of their wits. Of course, even the winter nights weren't usually that dark inside the castle; only a few faint things were actually detectable in the comforting shadows. The Slytherin solemnly admitted that they were out after hours, came up with a weak excuse to get a glass of water, said she found the boy already here, and stated that the other female Slytherin "just showed up" before drenching her face in flawed innocence and pulling an act along with it. The boy said that he was supposed to have arrived earlier, and said that his name was "Keagan." The blond dame quickly followed suit, adding that her name was "Krista," nervousness leaking through her angelic act. The other girl had yet to give her name, but it appeared, in the distorted and faint light surrounding them, that her hair was purple.
The cooing darkness mixed with undefinable shadows seemed to be unique for that night, made just for it. Occasionally, harsh storms caused such blackness, but only snow quietly fell outdoors and few drips of liquid slipped from Keagan's robes. The night was silent, the best companion. Perhaps that was why everything was so soothing, so entertaining and enticing. The silence was melded into the caliginosity of it all; it was luscious. Some people kept the witching hour of it all to be their best friend for as long as they lived. Others, like vampires, had it as their only ally, it being an enemy to their enemy, the sunlight. Tonight, the dark twilight calmly twisted through their pores, flesh, hair, sight, senses, and being. It was lovely to any who could understand or relax in it. Apparently, Krista wasn't one of those comfortably wrapped beneath its covers.
As for Teagan getting them in trouble.... That would be dealt with in due time.
The boy's hair seemed to be a dirty red in the disorientated light that tried sifting through the welcoming darkness. As soon as she had presented herself, though remaining calm, he had his hidden eyes locked onto her, most deeply observing her with some hidden thought. None of the few stands of light managed to slash across the eyes he held, cloaked in the settled shadows. The prefect's own eyes, relaxing into more rose that plum, were meekly tinted with the faint lighting. Her eyes sometimes made other students uncomfortable; perhaps this was the reason for his stare? Generally, the unnerved peers would soon realize that there wasn't anything too odd about them other than the color, but then notice how Teagan acted and use that for a reason to avoid her. Of course, no one knew the truth about her eyes reason for change. No one other than her family, which she had dutifully left at home when she switched schools.
It appeared that Keagan had actually been a new arrival. Once more, a student had arrived at the school near midnight. It was interesting. Why would all of these magical people arrive at such a late time? Maybe some thought of it as good luck. Others, possibly, were delayed like Keagan. It hardly ever failed; if you wanted to welcome a new student, stalk the Great Hall a few minutes before morning begins.
The two Slytherin girls seemed excuse-less, and the Ravenclaw prefect smirked. "I'll only get you in trouble if you cause me trouble,..... Krista." She had yet to ever assign students a detention. Of course, it would be slightly enjoyable to view how the Slytherins would take this information. After all, Krista's expression in her lips wasn't being greatly flattered by that in her eyes; she would probably carry the most interesting reaction. "Keagan, have you been sorted? That's how you learn what house you're going to be in.
"Oh, and I'm Teagan, as Krista already knew."

"No trouble, Teagan, no trouble. I just wanted to make sure Keagan here was going to get settled in alright, is all," she said sweetly. she knew Teagan saw right through her innocent act. She was in Slytherin, after all, so the Ravenclaw prefect would know ebtter than to believe something she said.

After the lock on Teagan he rolled his eyes back to Krista DiGloria she seemed like a troublemaker and would try to get in trouble whenever she wanted too. Not respecting the common room rules or her fellow house at all, costing them house points and maybe detention for herself and even Heidi, just stood there not saying anything at all. Maybe the Slytherin girl was in shock and didn't want to be down here any more then he did.
Teagan seemed like a nice person and for that he respected her and wanted to fellow every rule. Her question's where asked in manner that he did fellow and she asked him.
"Keagan, have you been sorted? That's how you learn what house you're going to be in."
"Oh, and I'm Teagan, as Krista already knew."
Of course he would get to these answer but he wanted to help out first. "By the way, the other girl's name is Heidi, a first year Slytherin student." a broad smirk came across his face when he announced this fining the inner pride that once belong to him as a Prefect at his old school. "I have been sorted Teagan, in fact the house that I'm in is Ravenclaw." From a smirk to a grin what else could he ask for in this night?
Monolayre's did have there family secrets but he didn't know when he would release this power. Teagan should I tell her that I'm part of the Monolayre family, I think that in my own belief I should tell her, every single word, but then maybe she would hate me. Forever. his mine was thinking through his for quite a while before he made any signs of talking.
Keagan Monolayre approached the girl who called her self Teagan, and whispered something in her ear, "I'm part of the Monolayre family, but I'm different and their for I respect the purest heart, whether there half-blood or full-blood." he went silent and hoped that Teagan would accept these words.

OOC: Sorry for the post. My muse isn't cooperating. XP
IC: Krista said that she wasn't going to cause the prefect trouble and that she was just helping out Keagan. She was still action innocently, but she didn't seem to be trying as hard as she had been before. She wasn't overly happy, too eccentrically friendly. It appeared that she was merely "sucking up" to the prefect, at the moment. By all means, that was fine. After all, the prefect really didn't care. It's not like anyone listened, anyway; prefects couldn't cause them too much trouble or problems other than scaring them out of their wits, apparently. All most student thought was that it was bad for prefects to catch you; they didn't exactly realize what could be done to them. Otherwise, they wouldn't be so jumpy when the prefects popped by.
Keagan said that the more silent student's name was Heidi, a Slytherin first year. A shift of the shadows on his complexion showed that he was either smiling or making a very disturbed expression. Next, he said that he had been sorted into Ravenclaw; most students were sorted before they came to the school, but a few were not. After a pause, he walked toward Teagan and whispered something to her.
Though she heard every word he said, she made it seem insignificant, and her expression didn't change a noticeable amount. In fact the only thing that showed that she heard him at all was the slight glimmer of notice in her eyes, but all that showed was that she had heard him; they didn't say whether anything was important, merely basic stuff. It could be as casual as him saying that he didn't know where the dorm room was. After all, most students didn't know where to go since their luggage was usually taken up there before them. In fact, that was one of the things prefects usually had to deal with; new students and all.
"Well, since I can take care of Keagan now, why don't you two head back to the Slytherin's common room?" Teagan's lips smirked in the darkness surrounding them. They would know that it would be her job to take care of Keagan, the new Ravenclaw.

Krista stared as Keagan leaned forward and whispered something in the prefect's ear. She wanted to know, so direly bad what he had said, but she knew not to push it. Teagan had just told her and Heidi to go back to the common room.
Krista was still hungry but decided she could raid someone's trunk for food. She turned and smiled to the prefect. "It was nice to finally meet you Teagan, sorry about the situation though. Well, I better get back. I'm feeling a little tired now, anyways. Also nice to meet you Keagan, I hope your stay here at Magic Horizons is a pleasant one."
She turned away from the situation and began to head towards the common room. She left the girl Heidi just standing there, knowing she could take care of herself. She hurried down the staircase to the dungeon whispered the password to the common room, and entered it.
The flames of the fire were a relief. She headed straight back to bed though, hoping to catch a little shut eye before she had to awake for her classes tomorrow.
