Sylph smirked a little at Forgoil's words. Equilibrium, eh? she mused silently. Balance. I like that; I've never been considered balanced before. Still, she kept her little joke to herself; there were far more important things afoot.
Namely Sen rejecting Forgoil's kindly offer. Personally, Sylph agreed wholeheartedly with Roan; the deal was far too generous, and still she was not surprised when Sen rejected it. It was clear what the girl on the floor was thinking; that she didn't give a rat's backside about anything they did to her. What did surprise her, however, was Forgoil's response. Well, not so much the response itself as the speed at which he executed it. Such vehemence was not something one expected of the ever-calm Hufflepuff boy, but there it was, jumping up and down in front of her trying to give her a haircut.
Memoriae Angeli Morti obliviate!
Instantly Sylph recognised it as a memory charm, designed to block all memories about their enemy, the one Sen had turned to, but was that such a good idea?
"She might have opened up eventually," she muttered in a mixture of anger and deep thought. "Now she's no use to us at all. And it might have been better to block her memories of our plans... who knows?" And yet there was no doubting it would at least give Sen some ease, unless she found her way back to Him.
There Sylph; I moved. Surprisingly I do not regret what I have done; it had to be done and that is all that can be done when reason is abandoned.... you stick to your ways and I shall stick to mine. Even if it means offering traitors and backstabbers a second chance; for is that not what everyone deserves?
Something in Sylph gave a sharp twinge; guilt, perhaps. Deep down she knew Forgoil was right - everyone deserved a second chance, and now she felt slightly ashamed of herself for not doing the same. Nevertheless, Sen had rejected it, and now there was nothing else for it. She opened her mouth to speak, but before she could do so, Forgoil had crashed unceremoniously face-first onto the floor, his features etched in extreme pain.
"Jeeze, dude, what's wrong?" she said, rushing to his aid, helping him to his seat on the first step. But instead of answering her, the Scottish boy said something which, for some reason, made Sylph's blood run cold for the briefest of moments.
Well Sylph? You were Aylen's lieutenant; if he is captured; that leaves you in charge.
Well, that was it, wasn't it? Okay, so Sylph made a damn good sports captain, and was instantly recognisable as the 'leader' type in any group of people, but leading others to what may be their deaths? Could she deal with that? The moment passed, and her old indomitable spirit returned, accompanied by a slight devil-may-care grin that sat far more comfortably on her lips than any scowl. They needed her, and she knew she was up to the challenge - or, at least, she would sure as apples were apples give it her best shot.
"Leader?" she said out-loud, her eyes twinkling despite the seriousness of the situation. Yes, that's right, the old Sylph was back, for the moment, at least. "Not without you, I'm not, Forgoil. Equilibrium, remember? But, if you ask me, we need to get a few here to the hospital wing, yourself included. Or, if you prefer, I can give you some simple painkillers that should do the trick for a little while.
"Roan, you should go to the hospital too, to stop that bleeding, and take Sen with you, if you can manage her, she seems in pain, and I don't like the look of those burns, though," she added with a whisper and a wry grin that only Roan could hear, "I'd love to learn the spell that you used to make them."
"Hayzie, Aednat, we need to find Aylen, maybe Professor Windwaltz too, if he's still, y'know, alive. I'm leading a search party, we can leave now or at first light, but I think it's a case of the more the merrier; so if we are to wait, can you tell as many people as you know and trust what's happened?" Sylph paused for breath, hoping she was doing all the right things. She turned her flashing eyes to Forgoil once more.
"What d'you think, Chief? Leave now or leave in the light? I doubt we'll have to go into the Forest..." Sylph added, recalling both her own vision and the dream that Anna had also recieved. "Something tells me the graveyard will lead us to what we need."
OOC: oi, that's a long post. Soz guys, hope it doesn't bore you too much!

"No..." Hayzie answered, uncertainly, and before she had even really thought about what she was going to say. The blonde looked between each person, and as she did so, despair filled her more so than before. Forgoil had just removed every memory Sen ever had, most likely of the whole Angelus Morti situation, but it hadn't helped their own situation any, in her opinion. Now, the group had little idea of where they were going, other than the Graveyard.
Rubbing her eyes, as though some dust had got into them, before looking back over the group. "That's exactly what he wants. He wants people to go looking... I think his overall motive is simple... but maybe too simple..." Hayz managed the latter of these words in a whisper, trying to think of some sort of catch which made it more complicated than it should be.
And now, she couldn't believe the next words were going to be spoken. "Leave it for now, and let whatever will be, be... he wants us to go down there... and I doubt he'd kill this early on... so maybe... Talon's in eternal sleep apparently... so..." Babbling seemed to be a hobby of the blonde's lately, one which maybe wasn't the best one, and yet maybe to others, her words would make sense.

Sirese watched the boy preform the memory charm and toke careful notes as he did to write it down later in his journal but till then. He walked toward them, he knew Hayzie but the others where new to him. "Whats going on here?" He ask them all. He was fairly certain he had missed something, he had of course heard of the rumors of the attacks but this girl's role was unknown to him.
He looked at Hayzie when she spoke about playing into his hands. He was confused by all of this talk about him and looking for Professor Talon and such. He remembered hearing that there was a group who where resisting the attackers. He smiled when he saw Hayzie after she spoke. "Look is this about the attacks on the school?" He ask them all. He knew very well if they where this group then the girl had to be against the school.
Now he had been here for the memory modification charm so he had a rough idea of what was going on. "If you wanted information from the girl erasing every memory she has was not a good idea." he said simply "There are potions or spell to gain information instead of erasing her memory." he said calmly looking at Hayzie then to the others "What can I do to help?" He said finally.
OOC: sorry about the cr*ppyness of this post, but Slyph said to post here to join the plot..

"Not much at the moment, by the looks of things," Hayzie answered, her tone slightly cold as a headache began to form. If she knew Slyph and Roan well enough, her previous words would not have been welcomed lightly, and their silence so far made it only worse.
Turning to look at Roan, her eyes apologetic, she explained: "You should head down to the Hospital Wing, Roan... just for a bandage or something, nothing huge. Kase and Shae should let you out in ten minutes, if that." Though the girl knew it was unlikely the Hufflepuff would heed her words, no one could say she hadn't tried, at least.
"Sirese, I think we're aware we could have done a number of things to retreive information, but I think we have the best piece of information we're going to get." Her voice was unusually snappy as she spoke to both Roan and Sirese, a sign that she didn't know what to do. People who knew her well enough would notice it, and those who didn't know her well may have taken offense.
Turning a cold gaze on to the confused girl on the ground, the blonde shook her head once more. "And I think the Headmistress may want to see Sen herself eventually anyway, so why not make it sooner rather than later. Maybe take Jordan along with her too." Stress really didn't do Hayz the world of good. Snaps were being directed left right and centre, all of them to the wrong people, and the blonde felt her stomach churning as each one came out, even if she couldn't help it.
ooc: Whoa she's scaring me...

OOC: Sorry, my mom wouldn't let me on for days and days after the ball dropped for the new year!
BIC: "What the bloody hell is going on here?" asked a cold and worried Ashlle, she'd been in the Owlry hoping to have received a return letter from the Ministry by now, when the magical blast went off in the tower. She'd hurried back into the school just in time to see Sen blasted with a Memory Charm.
"Do you have authorization to do those sorts of things?" she asked Forgoil wondering, if he might be an Auror after all. "I think spells like that are strictly regulated." Then looking around at everyones injurys she added. "I agree that some of you should come with me to get some healing balms."

When that memory charm was cast, Roan's eyes lit up, and she opened her mouth to speak, but there was nothing she could do to stop the 'Puff from casting it. When it was over, the girl's face was livid. It was obvious she didnt need to keep such a close eye on the traitor, so she unwrapped her hand from the rope and stood up slowly. Her hazel eyes were fixed on Forgoil, full of fury. It took her a few moments to gather her thoughts, there were a lot of them, and the people in this thread were going to hear every single one. "What have you done?" She said angrily, looking down at Sen. All of that hard work was now wasted.
"What could have possibly compelled you to remove those memories? That was information we needed! What if there is another traitor or spy in the castle, and she knew their identity? What if she knew exactly where they took Aylen? What if she knew any of his plans, even the slightest hint. All of that is gone now, we have none of it." She was shouting, directing them at Forgoil. This was too much to fathom for the Hufflepuff. "You didnt stop to think of what this could do. Not only was that Illegal, it could get you in a great deal of trouble for erasing the memory of a student. There are other ways to persuade her to speak. The Headmistress could have thought of something, a truth potion, a spell, something. This is a magic school for crying out loud!"
Her voice was escalating, but more out of frustration than anger now. Nobody was stopping to think, including her. Everyone was just rushing in and making plans without consulting the rest of the group. "This is not some game, we cannot risk moves like that. Every mistake takes us one step closer to losing this war." Now they were talking of going down to the graveyard. At this Roan put her head on one of her hands and took deep breaths. "Go ahead, go down and try and find them. We have no sense of direction, no information, no clues now that she has no memory! That Graveyard is a maze, its easy to get caught in the wrong place by the wrong person. We already know its guarded by a follower of Angelus Morti."
Roan took a moment to think, to give someone else a chance to speak while she brooded about the situation. Sylph was their new leader, Forgoil was too, that much was said. They would have to come up with a plan quickly, though they would have to be smart about it. Well they can do it without me, Im done for now. When everyone starts thinking smart Ill come back. The Hufflepuff thought angrily, turning her gaze back to the people in the room. Two more people arrived, one new to this resistance, the other, someone Roan did not want to see at all. Ashlle and Roan never got off to a good start, she found the Gryffindor arrogant and annoying. And now wasnt going to be an exception. Frankly, Roan was getting quite tired of all the comments on her side.
She turned her head to the nurse, a livid look on her face. "Im not some china doll! Would you all just leave me be on this, I know what Im doing. I will not be going to the Hospital Wing for something like this, it will heal on its own. You off all people should know this!" She directed her last comment on the new Head Girl. The two had gone to the Hospital Wing together the last time Roan had to go, and she didnt like it at all. The place unnerved the restless girl, it was too calm. She cast her gaze back towards the traitor, still on the ground. The Hufflepuff regained her posture, and a bit of calm. "Ill leave her to you then Sylph, you too Forgoil. I didnt fight her and drag her through the snow so that you could lose all of that information. But as our leaders now its your choice. So you deal with her, shes not my problem anymore."
With anger the girl resumed putting the cloths to her side and walked away towards the stairs. She sidestepped the injured Hufflepuff and headed up right past them all. Roan was headed for the library, where she could be left alone for a while. She was done for today with the fights and the scheming and the hassling. Let them all figure this out if they wanted to, she had her own plans to make.

Forgoil was still talking to Sen in that calm, tolerant way. Aednat hadn’t even been sure that offering her such a generous deal was right in the first place. His treatment of her was far too tolerant for someone who had done what Sen had.. Her senses and instincts fought with his manner, but still a part of her argued that his way of dealing with the traior might be…commendable. She’d have to think it out, alone, to figure out whether or not she agreed with it, believed it commendable, admirable. Right now though, she just wanted to bang her head against a wall. Not that she’d be any use to anyone if she had concussion. With that thought, she restrained herself.
Because Forgoil still spoke in such a gentle tone when referring to the ‘golden opportunity’ Sen had scoffed at, his next action came as a complete surprise. Erasing Sen’s memory of the whole thing? Why on earth did he think that was a good idea? There was still information the traitor had that she might have chosen or been convinced to reveal later. And that charm was irreversible…but even as Aednat felt herself grow both despairing and angered, a more consoling thought floated through her mind.
So she can’t help us anymore…but she can’t help Angelus Morti either.
That must have been Forgoil’s reasoning. It would also give Sen a release…Aednat just hadn’t decided if she thought Sen deserved it.
As the boy fell, Aednat started forward, but Sylph got there first. Forgoil was clearly trying to disguise his suffering, and that was noble. But if things were to go further, as Sylph now suggested, injuries would have to be dealt with to give them the best advantage. Aednat, always restless when action needed to be taken until it actually was, thought Sylph was thinking along the right lines with her suggestion. But the blonde girl began to speak next, and clearly disagreed. Aednat could see her point…maybe they needed more time, a better plan, strategy, more help. Her instincts, however, were urging her to go now, to try to help now. She couldn’t help it- that was her nature.
As Aednat struggled with instinct and reason, trying to figure out her opinion on the best course of action, another joined them. He asked if this was connected to the attacks on the school, gave his opinion on the memory charm, and asked what he could do to help. Aednat would leave it up to someone else to answer- she wanted to sort out her thoughts, although she would follow Sylph and Forgoil’s plan even if it was in contrast to her opinion. It was the blonde girl who spoke up again, getting more and more snappy in tone. Aednat just hoped this would not turn into a repeat episode of the continual sniping and bickering that had taken place at the gathering in the Great Hall.
When Ashlle appeared, Roan grew visibly more frustrated, turning, before long, to the nurse to disagree angrily with her comment. Aednat disagreed also, to a certain extent, and was about to speak up when Roan finished off her angry speech and the Irish girl realised she was leaving. Disbelief and frustration played across her face before she turned back to the remaining students to contribute her opinion, however short her thoughts were right now.
“Ashlle, I agree that injures should be treated, but if Sylph and Forgoil plan an attack now, how could we possible spare uninjured parties to go with you and get your healing balms? As for Roan…”
She trailed off and shrugged. For once, Aednat was lost for words. Should they go after her? Well, even if they didn’t, they’d have to notify her of their plans before anything happened. That much was clear…even if nothing else was.

Talking is all that they were doing clearly not answering her questions could they even hear her? Rustling footsteps could only mean that someone has left or arrived Sen's eyes hurt too much to be opened at the moment.
Sen kept trying to figure out what happened but the last thing she remembered was an image of the great hall and the grave yard if she was even aloud to stand up soon she would have to travel to these places but for now she wanted to sleep and her questions answered. The pain was growing on and on as these people talked clearly they didn't care how Sen felt like she was slowly dieing.
Sen opened her burning eyes she cold move her arms just barely but when she tried o move them apart they wouldn't budge. What have they done to me? sen though looking around she couldn't see anyone any more but could still hear them perfectly. Sen frustration was starting to build she didn't know what has been happening for a month or so it was driving her to the brink of insanity. It wasn't like forgetting what you were about to say next it was so much worse.
Sen still thinking could only rember feeling hatred toward the school then nothing? Nothing at all how could it be nothing? "Is anyone going to answer me?"Sen asked again slowly lifting her head.

Mercury
A loud chirrup interrupted the scene. The noise echoed about the hall, making it difficult to find the source of the sound. The one making these sounds, obviously annoyed when no one seemed to notice him, let out a deafening CAW! He preened, pleased. He was sure that he had gotten at least some attention for the merlin hawk perched on the stair banister. Shifting to get a better look at the people gathered here, he met each of their gazes with a sharp, intelligent one of his own. For a moment, perhaps, he seemed more than a hawk. But it was only a moment. Soon he was back his old annoying self. Taking flight from the railing, he alighted on a new violet perch: Sylph’s head. Mercury had seen everything that had happened during his master’s capture, and if he wasn’t going to get him back...he would never see a mouse giblet ever again. He missed his snack time darnit!(ooc: I still have a few tricks up my sleeves, folks. )

Sirese sat back and waited for Hayzie to finish her rant. He could hear the snappiness in her voice. He looked over the faces of the people around them and then back to her after a few moment. He did not speak right away rather he held back thinking of how to phrase it, he didn't want to offend her. He waited for another moment before speaking letting her cool off "I am sorry Hayzie I didn't mean to sound harsh it was just stupid." He said simply to her.
He waited for a few minutes till everything else was said "She is no danger now I suppose but it would to be good to have her running about the school." He said needlessly "As for this run to the graveyard, have any of you ever seen a muggle movie, never split up like that." he said slightly trying to lighten the mood to much stress caused problems. "Those who are wounded need to be healed, it is not good to go after anything half strength, even if it cost a little bit of time." He new he was a newbie to this little group but common sense was on his side.

Oh boy. Now what had she done. The headache was still there, but realisation had crept in alongside it. Roan, still bleeding, had stormed out of the room, leaving the remaining group with Sen and Jordan. Sirese was speaking to her in calming tones, but was calming tones really what she needed?
It was true, she should have known a lot better than to suggest Roan go to the Hospital Wing... but it was the only thing she could think of bar conjuring up a bandage and doing the job herself. In her mind, Hayzie wondered if that would have been more welcome, or less. Already it looked as though the group was falling apart from the inside, and the blonde had hardly helped the situation any.
A loud Caw distracted her for a moment as she watched Mercury, Aylen's hawk, land on Sylph's head. Mercury... Aylen's hawk... was Aylen back? Green eyes met those of the hawk for a moment, was it possible this was some sort of sign for them to do something?
Maybe...

People were getting irritable, snapping at each other for no real reason. What Hayzie said made sense, but Sylph was not one who could easily stand by and do nothing, especially when one of her best friends was at risk. She knew Roan was right, also, Forgoil had been rash and had apparently not thought through what he had done to Sen; it would have been better to hand her over to the heads for interrogation, not matter how much she knew. And the memory charm would not remove Sen's hatred. Despite Sylph's annoyance and concern at the present situation, it was far exceeded by Roan's sheer fury.
"Alright, alright!" Sylph said loudly, but without shouting, trying to get everyone's attention. "It's not a great idea to go looking without knowing where to go and look, but it's all we've got now! Are we just going to leave Aylen to his fate? And I'm sorry Roan, I just thought better safe than sorry - your wound looks worse than it is, no doubt." But even as Sylph tried to restore peace, things went from bad to worse. Ashlle arrived, and while Sylph had no problems with the younger girl, it was plain that Roan did. Eventually the Hufflepuff girl, the one they all owed right now, stormed off, her final words echoing in Sylph's mind.
I'll leave her to you then Sylph... you deal with her, shes not my problem anymore
Sylph's heart sank. How had things gone so wrong? Even Hayzie, usually kind and helpful, was rather snappish. Roan had gone, and Sylph was now relying on her to tell her everything that Sen had disclosed before Forgoil had hexed the captive girl. And despite the fact that Roan was okay, and unwilling to go to the hospital wing, it was plain that Sen needed attention - the girl looked more than just dazed - her breath was coming in short weezes and she was very pale. Sylph bent down to her and severed the cords binding her.
"She's no danger now," she muttered glumly to the others, before talking to Sen herself. "I'll answer you Sen. I can't tell youmuch now, but what we need to do is get you to the hospital wing, ok? Can you move?" Sylph glanced at Ashlle, the nearest thing to a nurse they had. "Can you look after her?" she asked softly, all the energy of the previous moments seemingly drained from her. "She needs those burns looking at... and stuff. After that she needs taking to the head's office. They need to know what's happened here." Sylph stood once more, taking a deep breath.
"We are not going to attack," she said in response to Aednat's words, her tone more firm now, a ring of authority to her voice. "But nor can we do nothing. I know Aylen is out there somewhere, and while Sen can't tell us where he might be, my gut is telling me tha- OW!" The exclaimation was due to a sudden sharp grasping pain on her skull. Mercury, Aylen's hawk messenger, had landed there amongst her hair, and as far as Sylph could tell, seemed to be making himself comformtable there. Rolling her sleeve down so her arm was covered (she had neglected to carry her farrier's glove with her tonight) she coaxed Mercury down, rubbing her head once she had done so. In an instant, all the weariness and disappointment in herself and what had gone on had vanished, replaced by a twinkle of hope in her green eyes.
"I wonder if this bird is smart enough to lead us to Aylen," she wondered out-loud, more to herself than the others. Reaching into her pocket she produced a meaty bird treat she normally reserved for her osprey, Dylan. "Can you lead us to Aylen, Mercury?" she asked the bird, tossing it the treat to make it more friendly; she knew how tempermental this merlin could be sometimes. "Do you know where he is?"
She turned to the others, eyes shining.
"So, who still doesn't want to come?"

OOC: Burns huh? is that all? Please if you could tell me all your injuries ooc than It will go a lot faster. Also shall I make a thread in the Hospital Wing or will you refuse to come as well, Sen?
BIC: Ashlle nodded and also went over to Sen, still not exactly sure what the bloody hell was going on. "Come Along Sen, you need help first off no matter what the other kids want to do with you," she knelt down to look closer at Sen's burns. "You must have gotten yourself into a load of trouble this time."
"So, who still doesn't want to come?"
Ashlle looked at Sylph with a perplexed look on her face. If Aylan was indeed captured nothing in the world would stop Ashlle from following him, this time. But she had duties to preform and hopefully Sylph knew that.
"Once I've healed everyone who wishes it, I'll come. I know I said I wouldn't but seeing as they've taken our captain and no one is making any strategies, it's kind of pointless for me to stay behind. I'll catch up to you once everyone is taken care of. Come along Sen, you need looking after."

"Is anyone going to answer me?"
Aednat glared at the back of Sen's head. If anyone would, it wasn't going to be her...at least, not unless Sylph or Forgoil told her to. How she hoped they wouldn't...it would sicken her to spend time with the girl. And yet...Sen had those memories removed now. Maybe...maybe the reason she had done what she had was also gone. Aednat didn't know why, and knew she probably couldn't forgive Sen...but she'd still hate it if she was told about something awful that she'd done. She'd hate herself for it. Aednat wondered how Sen would react, whether she'd hate herself for doing it, or whether the removal of the memories hadn't taken away the part of Sen that made her do it in the first place. The truth was, Aednat didn't know how to act around Sen now that her memory had been modified. Was she still the same person who had done terrible things? Yes. But was the part of her that had caused her to do them still there? Aednat didn't know.
She was glad that Sylph said that she, herself, would answer Sen later, and asked Ashlle to look after her for the time being. She was much gentler with Sen now. Aednat knew the girl needed to be treated, and was glad it would happen now...but she still didn't know if she deserved pity. It was all so confusing. Nothing was black and white. Listening to Sylph, Aednat once again found herself agreeing. No, they couldn't leave it, do nothing. She seemed to share a lot with the violet-haired girl, opinion wise at any rate. But Sirese had spoken sense too. They needed to stick together.
Divided, we fall...
The chirrup that echoed around the hall and the ensueing CAW! was a welcome release from her confused thoughts. Blue eyes, curious and alert, darted to the source- a hawk which perched, seconds later, on Sylph's head.
"I wonder if this bird is smart enough to lead us to Aylen,"
Aednat's eyes widened. The bird- it must belong to Aylen! Well, surely that was a good omen, a sign...perhaps even a sign that they shouldn't wait around. Hope and adrenaline began making their presence known in her body, in her veins, as Sylph put questions to the bird.
"So, who still doesn't want to come?"
Ashlle immediately responded, and her words, although they surprised Aednat a little, made her smile. Directly after the other Gryffindor, she added her own two cents.
"I don't know if you plan to start now, or wait. If you want to leave straight away, I'm ready. If you'd prefer someone to wait and come later, with Ashlle, I'll do that either." She shrugged. "Basically, I'll do whatever you ask of me. I'd rather get out there if that's what you decide on...I'm better when I'm actually actively doing something than at helping behind the scenes- I get restless, agitated...," she grimanced, "sometimes irritable. It's just nervous tension. But if that's what you need, I'll throw myself into it and do my best, I give you my word."
She smiled around at the gathering, fingering her wand. She itched to leave now, but had also totally accepted Forgoil and Sylph as leaders and did not lie when she promised to try her best at whatever task they assigned her, be it her choice or not. She had thrown herself into this...resistance...whole-heartedly, and when she did that, she never gave less than everything she had.

It was about time too but Sen started to realize she had done something terrible in her anger against the school of course Sen has been in loads of trouble before some worse then this some not what made them all the same was that it was for the students of the school she risked her life for them in return her body felt like she was just released from a hospital with stiff bones. Broken legs, broken arms claws slicing through her skin getting thrown into a tree but demons countless times and now this being burned for something Sen had no clue what of.
Sen was slowly becoming more and more angry toward the school but then Ashlle and a girl whom Sen had never met talked of taking her to the heads and the hospital wing? No was there time of finally talking? Sen could hardly breath and it didn't help if your friend was lying there feet from you and you couldn't save them.
Was that it? To think all those people in the muggle world used to call her selfish for wanting her friends back she put herself in harms way to protect them and then later they sneak out and getting them self killed. If that is what they call paying a favor back i wonder what then end of the friendship is like.
"Walk? No i don't think i an do that but i will make it on my own."Sen's voice did conceal most of the bitterness in it but a large amount still shone through clear as a summers night hatred was still in her system.
Sen maneged to sit her back up breathing heavy as she did so the ropes didn't help much at all now nor could they ever.
(ooc:Sen has burns and can't breath very well and um she won't go easily I'm afraid she has only had a few nurses one a student but hey you can try)
