She tugged onto her robe, the winter wind blowing strongly as snow flakes fell from the dark and gay skies. She blew heat into her hands trying to keep warm but the attempt was not working as she planned. Before her stood the sight of the castle walls, and relief swarmed her body.
She placed her hand upon the cold handle of the door, opening it slowly, peeking inside. The colorful decorations filled the entrance hall, banners held up high. Welcome Students! She read. She sighed softly in realization that she had made it here.
Looking around, she noticed many amounts of new students. Their faces were of fear, confusion, and excitment. Pushing past the students she made way to the middle of the crowd, looking at the many fascinations around her. She couldn't hold in the anxiety that filled her body..she finally came to the well known place of Magic Horizens.
She pulled back strands of her blonde hair, trying to look for a familiar face. It was disappointing..none of her friends would be here with her. Though she knew she had the chance in making new friends..but it was often hard to find trustworthy friends..people who wouldn't betray you in the very least. Shrugging her shoulders she continued her way through the crowd of students who shoved their way past her.
She smiled to many unknown faces, trying to be friendly. But, none seemed to give it their all to introduce themselves. Though she deeply understood...she was new and they were trying to find their old friends. She was the same way back at her old school, remembering all the new students who had once looked eager to become her friend as well. Now she was the one in their place...she sighed, it wouldn't be as bad as she thought...it would just take time to adjust.

Persephone had recieved an owl from her twin, Ariadne, that she was returning to the school after heading "home" for the holidays. It wasn't really home, the two sisters had grown up in a small orphanage, and had only known Magic Horizons as their home. Still, it was close enough, and Ari had headed back hoping to see old friends and Manny and Joe, their care takers.
Persephone got up early and headed out of her common room. Her silver blonde hair flowed down the length of her back to end at her waist. Her small frame looked all too fragile, and the pale ivory skin only helped to create a more fragile picture. At only five foot, she seemed so much younger than her sixteen years. Only her emerald eyes showed the knowledge and pain of her years, though the wisdom was much older than her.
She walked slowly down the stairs. She wore her robes and a pair of blue jeans underneath. She didn't wear a cloak though since she didn't plan on going outside. Ariadne could come inside and meet her, since they would end up here anyway.
She walked a bit further and saw a swarming mass of students. After all, the holidays were finally ending and everyone was coming back. They all looked happy, and as she looked at them all she saw a girl that looked lost and a bit sad.
She glanced at the watch on her small wrist. She still had time, and this girl looked like she wanted to talk to some one. She too wanted to talk to some one while she waited for her always late sister.
She walked closer to the other girl. Like everyone else in the school, she was taller than Persephone, and Sephe had to tip her head back slightly to look at her.
"Hi. I'm Persephone, or as most people call me, Sephe. Who are you?"

She looked up at the clock above that chimned a quarter after. It would seem about time to start leaving to get sorted and settleled into her new house. She was quite anxious to know what house she would be sorted into...afterall her family was pureblood...but she wasn't sure Slytherin would be the house for her.
She was taken aback as a small girl introduced herself to Cecily. Afterall, who would want to talk to a new student...she figured the students that have been here wouldn't want to waste their time on a lost and confused "newbie." She decided to reply..she didn't want the same "reputation" as she did at her last school. Cecily was known as an unsocial and shy person..this year it would all be different.
She smiled at the girl, " It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm sure." She said simply.
" I'm Cecily, obviously new to Magic Horizens." She said with a slight chuckle.
She could tell by the girl's expression she knew how confused she had looked earlier...it didn't take that much to see her nervousness.

"Nice to meet you Cecily. I'm sure you'll get used to MH soon," Persephone said hoping she was right about what Cecily was nervous about.
It seemed almost as if she was looking at herself six years ago. How confused and dazed had she been when Kelcia had come down and met her? She must have been just like this. She wouldn't have expected an older student to even notice her.
"Do you know what house you're in yet?"
She wondered where Cecily would be. She knew better than to try and guess on where she would end up. It wasn't that all bad people ended up in a certain house, in fact there weren't that many bad people.
Yeah, well, the only person that ever hurt me was a lycan. Most of the students aren't bad, and I know better than to judge by houses.
She smiled again kindly, and ran a hand through her long silvery hair. She usually didn't do that, but Daemon's habit seemed to be rubbing off on her. She smiled at the thought of that.

She smiled, " I do hope so." She said simply. " 'Tis quite a grand place."
She noticed the girl studying her as she looked around the hall. Did Cecily look that nervous or lost? She shrugged her shoulders keeping her thoughts to herself, hoping the girl wouldn't seem to pity her in the very least.
She looked at the girl once more when she asked another question. She nodded simply, " Yes, I was placed into Gryffindoor. I was hoping to be in any house..except for Slytherin." She added painly. " I just didn't think I would feel comfortable there."
" What house are you in?" Cecily asked with interest.

Heidi was bored in her common room and thought she would take a walk around the Castle in hope of finding someone to talk to.
Heidi exited her common room and made her way towards the Great Hall and just before entering she heard a voice that came from the Entrance Hall she was talking about being sorted into any house as long as it wasn't Slytherin.
Heidi was sorting into Slytherin and had heard that people thought Slytherins were not to nice, but Heidi believe that if that was Slytherin then she did not belong as she had thought herself to be very kind.
Heidi entered the Entance Hall, with a bright smile on her face, her long purple hair was out down and stright something she only did if she was bored or had time as it took forever. Her purple eyes sparkled in the light from the windows, she was wearing her favourite tight black jeans with a black t-shirt that read Behind every great girl there is a guy checking her out.
Walking towards the girls Heidi saw one that she knew Sephe, Sephe had been the first one to introduce herself to Heidi when she first arrived.
"Hello Sephe, how are you today?" Heidi asked then turned to the other girl "Hello I am Heidi, Slytherin student, Pleasure to meet you" Heidi said offering her hand to the new girl

Persephone frowned slightly, but her thoughts were hidden behind the deep emerald of her eyes. Nothing could be shown through them except for a little bit of twinkle in the dark depths of the green. She was almost completly unreadable, but she didn't look much different than a few seconds ago. And that was a good thing since she had learned this little trick for survival.
"I'm a Ravenclaw. It's a nice house, and everyone there gets along great. But you shouldn't..."
She trailed off as she hear Heidi's voice behind her. This was on of the people that she had met from Slytherin that had shown her that the Slytherins weren't all bad. Of course she'd been attacked by one, but that didn't damn them all.
"Hi Heidi! How have you been?"
She turned smiling to her purple haired friend.

She smiled, " ' Tis a great pleasure to meet you too, Heidi." She said.
She gasped as the girl, Heidi, asked her the question, " I didn't mean to say it that way..." She stated simply. " I just felt that I wouldn't be right for that house just as a personal oppinion from my heart." She said. " I did not mean it in any offense."
Just great... She thought. What an impression I'm giving on these students..at the rate I'm going..I will never make any friends here. It was hard for her to meet to people. She would often become nervous and seemed to always say the wrong things. It had to deal with moving from place to place. Her life was of a wanderer. Never finding her true place called home.

Persephone gave Cecily an encouraging smile. People often said things they didn't mean on their first day, and this only proved that Cecily was human. That was a good thing, and Sephe liked that fact. People often had the ability to seem too perfect, and that was something the small Prefect didn't like very much.
Still, she waited with bated breath for Heidi to respond. It was up to Heidi to say it was alright. She'd wait to speak till then.
