A hard, icy rain twirled from within the bellies of clouds high above MH. The sound of plastic wheels against a gritty pathway could be heard just down the hill, and thunder boomed every few innopportune moments. A young woman gave a quick sigh somwhere out in the sheet of rain, and puddles splashed as someone mauled their way up the hill and towards the door.
A girl emerged from the ethereal grayness of the rainy night, and a rolling suitcase sloshed around a bit behind her before they both came to an abrupt halt at the doors. The luggage wobbled, tipped to the right, and twisted its way out of the woman's hands before falling to the ground. The woman cried out in surprise, and slight pain, as she watched her luggage roll down the hill a few meters before stopping. She sighed, picked up her booted feet, and walked to grab her trunk. Once it was secure, the girl rolled it back to the top of the hill and set it on a bench.
The girl's long-sleeved, oversized pale gray-green shirt was soaked through, and it stuck to every inch of her body right down to the top of her thighs. Black bike shorts covered her legs to two inches just above the knees, and seaweed green hair had tumbled all over the place, and currently resembled seaweed very much. The girl's very skin shimmered green under the wealth of hair, though it was rather pale in reality, and similarly colored wide green eyes speckled with gold around the pupils wandered their way over the height of the castle and the wideness of the grounds.
The woman raised a soaked, tee shirt covered hand to her delicate lips, wondering at what could be held hidden inside, and rubbed her dainty pinkened nose. She sneezed several times, and knew she should be getting inside. She hefted her luggage off the bench to her left and eeked open the right-hand door, peering in.
"Hello...?" her soft, tiny voice mewed as it echoed into the halls. She gripped her luggage tighter, squinting into the heavy darkness, and moved inwards. Her soaked clothes left a trail of rather large puddles, her sopping boots making wet squiiish, squiii.. sounds as she moved further inward. The doors closed behind her, and the walls almost seemed to be breathing. She stood slightly bent at the waist, her torso leaning forward so she could get a better look at things, and her green hair fell in rivulets down her back and over her shoulders, stopping just above her knees. Her right, tee-covered hand, was back at her mouth, and she was sucking lightly on the sleeve. A bad habit of hers, and she knew it, but it was a sub-conscious thing she'd done for years when she felt... out of place. Her large, wide eyes blinked in the darkness, her pupils dilated to adjust, and the gold around the inside glowed with an unearthly light. She could see better now, and she took in the wide marbled halls and staircases, the sleeping paintings, the fine wood benches, high ceilings, and statues of armor.
It's so quiet..I wonder where everyone is...
