It was a Miracle! The two Dangerous people moved out of the way and on to the dance floor soon after Ashlle had stood absolutely still -like a deer in headlights- in the croud of revelers. Her chance was made and she wasted no time. Looking as cool as a cucumber she nonchalantly scurried out the door, almost as if she were bolting to the bathroom or something. Once she was out of sight she truly bolted, up to her Loft room in the Gryffindor tower to get her Hunter attire and weapons.
Where can I hide? she thought gotta find a place then her mind stopped dead though her feet raced on. She couldn't hide. She had to man the Hospital Wing, obviously there was going to be mayhem tonight and she had to be there when the Injured came in. Where's a Auror when you need em' she thought.

ooc: 'Fenrir's head turned ever so slightly to the refreshments table and saw a certain nurse that he wanted to exact vengence upon.' - Did I miss something o.o;
bic: Kasey watched as Hayzie moved away from the boy that had offered her a dance, only to fall flat on her face in front of the new Head Boy and one of her fellow Hufflepuff's in Wyl Thrisk. About to race over and help the Head Girl to her feet, she was stopped as she saw Wyl pull her up.
Relaxing for a moment Kasey let her sapphire eyes do a sweep of the Dance Hall, seeing the doors open she watched as a rather slick looking man passed through the doors and stood off to the side looking as if he was waiting for someone. The nurse watched him for a while, but was careful not to stare, with curiosity. Then she saw the doors open again and a women, in a red gown and heavily made up eyes entered and greeted the man. But for some reason when Kasey looked at the pair, they sent shivers down her spine.
Her attention was soon brought back to Amy and Hayzie, as the blonde Gryffindor appeared between them.
Fenris is here and the two of you need to get out of here, now...
At Hayzie's words Kasey gave her friend a puzzled look, what on earth was going on? Why was this Fenris guy after her? And Amy for that matter? Before she could protest, Slyph had walked over and linked arms with the two girls scooting them out of the Dance Hall. Kasey all the while feeling most puzzled, but deciding against an argument the blonde nurse allowed herself to be led away and off to the safety of the Heads Tower.

Fenrir's entire body tingled slightly the minute Xailyn took his hand as they made their to the dance floor. Once there Xailyn's head rest just on the lowest part of his shoulder and her hands clasped about his neck; though not touching his skin to the slightest. Perhaps his body was tingling as a small reminder of his human past; when such pleasures turned man into beast, or perhaps it was merely the Demoness' interesting control of cold temperature. But never the less, Fenrir was surprised with how swift she was in deciding to dance with him; it seemed that for once in a long time his imposing figure didn't bother someone.
With a debonaire smile, Fenrir said, "To think that a little cold would bother someone like me. Wearing your gloves is for dealing with children and I am most certainly not a child. And I must say that I would rather be frozen alive than resort to the primitive form of modern dance. And humans call us Lycans primitive. Ah there is the tempo Xailyn and off we go!" Laughing somewhat to himself as he lead off the dance, which was a mixture of a waltz and a jig; a rather unusal impromto of a dance, but Fenrir didn't care if he got stares from the students; they would be staring in horror before long to say the least.
Though what made the bloodthirsty lycan surprised was how much he had begun to like the idea of formal dance. It was one of the only things that Rutherford and Fenrir shared between themselves; and Fenris was taking quite well to his body brother's personal tastes. The classical music was just overwhelming to his ears and his mind; the dancing itself was an art form, and the company; oh the company was marvellous. Taking a mental note to attend more of these "balls" as they were called, Fenrir was beginning to loose himself when his hearing began to pick up the hushed sound of familar voices.
Yet those voices had only gotten one of the possible targets right. Professor Stevens could not be allowed to run about the school after seeing Angelus face- to-face. As for the other girl that was being lead out by a third girl, the very same that brushed against him earlier, was a complete stranger. But if she was being lead off like Stevens was; then perhaps there was something about this human that made her special and any special humans had a spot on his hit list. Pausing momentarily in the dance, Fenris looked down at Xailyn and though there was a smile on his face; his real purpose was hidden beneath that smile.
"Miss Rose, I am sorry to stop so suddenly, but it would seem that the dancers have noticed our presence and are trying to whisk the Professor off with some other girl that I have never seen. We must move quickly and naturally as to not arouse suspicion. So before we transition from happy dancers to happy havoc-wreckers; here is one last thing for you.", said Fenris with a rougish wink. Fenrir's head bent down so that it was at the same of Xailyn's and much to anyone's surprise if they knew him; he kissed Xailyn on the cheek. Though that is what a good actor had to do to fool an audience, and Fenrir had become a better thespian ever since a certain event in the Graveyard. Though the freezing sensation as his lips touched her cheek would be a memory that he would not soon forget. "All part of the act Miss Rose; that and a thank you for coming", said Fenris should Xailyn question his actions.
Though how to get to the group of three girls that were making their way to the door? They were no where near them and if they tried to run after them; their cover would be blown. If they tried to dance to this tempo after the retreating group; they would never make it. So Fenrir focused his attention on the concert master and harshly said into the confines of the elderly wizard's mind, 'Maestro; start up a tango. Immediately or you will be worms meat if you set foot out of this castle.'
Scared out of his wits, the poor gent complied and soon a tango started to fly off of the strings of the magificent orchestra. Letting instinct serve as a guide to his movements, Fenris took Xailyn's hands in his own and within moments; the dastardly duo was tangoing over to the exit that the group of three sought. And since the tango is such a fast dance; Fenrir and Xailyn arrived there right as the girls were about to reach the exit and safety. Smiling down at the three, Fenrir asked them in a concerned voice, though he could not hide his trademark, madman smile. "Well, well, well. Where are you off to in such a hurry? The night is young and the dance has only just begun. I insist that you stay."
ooc: Take note kids; this is what happens when you don't mention leaving the thread. Because unless I misinterpreted; Sylph was leading the other two out and she didn't leave^^ So just remember that next time.

In her room in the dorms, Roan was gently humming to herself in front of a mirror. The Ball was well underway down in the Dance Hall, but the girl was in no rush. It would be a long dance anyways, and the 'Puff was in no rush to be getting down there. The girl was completley transformed tonight, not donning her normal black robes, but a silky gown of a pale rusty color. It cut off around her shoulders and fell all the way down to the heel of her gold shoes. There was a light gauzy covering with beaded designs of flowers in a dark gold and rust. Around her neck was a gold chain in choker fashion. The biggest change, Roan thought, though was her hair. Her brown locks that were normally straight were now in thick curls that were hanging loosley about her shoulders. With a sigh she looked herself over in the mirror, twirling a few times to make sure nothing was forgotten. It seemed so strange to have a night off from working on the Resistance or doing her own magical projects to just go down and have some fun. She may even make some friends in the process. The 'Puff was a very nervous person when it came to social engagements, but had gathered up the courage to go to this one. One last touch. The girl thought with a smile, walking over to the nightstand by her bed and grabbing her wand. With a few ribbons, Roan tied the wooden shaft to the lower part of her right leg, making sure it didnt poke into her muscles. There was no point in going unarmed when you didnt have to. ------ A few minutes later, the girl was cautiously sneaking into the Dance Hall, trying not to trip in the short heels of her shoes. She was getting quite good at sneaking in places she really didnt want to be seen in, and managed her way over to the side. Her hazel eyes bore a light that hadnt been there for weeks as she scanned the dance floor, looking for familiar faces. She saw Hayzie, but the girl looked busy at the time. With much remorse she saw Ashlle, but quickly shrugged it off. There was no time for such things right now. But a dark look crossed her cheerful face as she saw a couple dancing, someone she would never have bet to see on this night. It caused her to sigh and comtemplate just going into the common room and calling it a night. Will I never be free of these two to live my life for two seconds?! She thought, leaning against the wall of the Dance Hall, her arms crossed. The demoness and lycan seemed to be there purely for pleasure, so Roan shrugged it off and looked for someone to dance with. But her eyes constantly darted from the Dance Floor, to the pair. With a sigh she reached down and undid the ribbons that held her wand, and quickly conjured a stick that looked like it. With clever hands she manuvered her curly hair into a bun in the back of her head, using her wand and the stick as the things holding it together. One quick tug on it, and the wand would come free and be ready to use. Though the girl prayed she wouldnt have to use it. Replacing her stern look on her face with her cheery smile, the 'Puff gracefully walked out towards the Dance Floor, when the tempo changed. Her eyes darted to the two she was keeping in her sight, and realized they were heading for someone. The girl stopped her walking and craned her neck to see what could have interested the two so much and her face paled. Sylph and Hayzie were with another girl, and it was obvious the monsterous pair were heading for them. Roan rolled her eyes at the ceiling and groaned. One peaceful night, thats all I want. One peaceful night. The 'Puff seriously considered just leaving them be, but then gave another sigh and another groan before taking a deep breath and regaining her posture. A frustrated face was replaced with a gentle calm one. With purpose and grace she strode over to meet her friends and enemies. "Sylph! Hayzie! Im glad I caught you, I dont know anyone here. I guess I should have gotten around more instead of keeping my nose in books." She said like a girl just gossiping with her friends. Though her face shone with the glee of an excited girl, her eyes flashed for a moment and she directed her gaze at Sylph, Hayzie, and Amy, giving them a small wink so they were aware that Roan knew what was going on. It didnt take long to see they were making an exit. Turning her gaze towards Fenris and his date, she kept that small smile on her face, her posture suggesting she was completley fine though she was burning with an anger that the lycan would dare try even the slightest thing on this wonderful night when all the students finally got a break. "Well well, you two are the last people I expected to see here at the dance. Though I suppose everyone is entitled to their own fun." Roan's eyes twinkled with mischief as she spoke, her words light as if she was just making casual conversation. She clasped her hands behind her back and crossed her fingers, praying her next words were not too rash. "I must ask, are you hassling these girls Mr. Fenrir? I hope not, for it would be a terrible thing to have to ruin this night just because someone got a little too aggressive with the students who were just having some fun for once in their lives. And I would hate to have to reprimand you for hassling them, for that would just spoil all of this, now wouldnt it? So why dont you return to your dancing Mr. Fenrir, you seem quite skilled at it." Though everything in her words seemed calm, there was an undertone of warning in her voice. Hopefully the lycan would take a hint and leave the girls be. Careful hazel eyes looked from Fenris and Xailyn to the three girls where they stood. Please just leave them alone, please just leave them alone. I just want to go back and find a dance partner and leave my troubles behind for one night. She thought, pleading with herself. Rare times did Roan get to herself to do as she wished to have some fun, she would be royally angry if Fenris ruined that by attacking or harming a student. Something was wrong with this scene. The couple dancing seemed to have way to many eyes on them none of which where good looks. The two seemed to be gathering to much attention none of it good. Hayzie seemed to be worried about two girls in the corner, a Professor and the School Nurse. He was new to the school but he had not ignored the stories of a Lycan who was attacking students. Could this be him the Lycan, but if so who was the women that he was dancing with him.
He watched them as the music suddenly changed tempo. He looked at the man who was conducting only to see a look of sheer terror on his face. His eyes shot to the man again this time seeing the direction he was looking at was Hayzie and the others. His hand slide to his wand pulling it out of his pocket along with the green book. His long sleeves hide the wand but not the book.
He pushed threw the crowd of people as quickly and nicely as possible, watching the couple as they began to dance over to the two women Hayzie seemed bent on getting out of the room. He was worried about them all now, but surely the lycan would not attack someone in a public place like this, to many wands for one creature. He was not willing to bet their safety or lives on this idea though so he made his way to the couple only a few feet off, his wand hidden the book opened to a page in the middle of the book to a charm that would help if the two got aggressive.
"Anything I can help you to with?" He said closing the book after reading over the page twice before reaching them. As he stuffed the book back into his pocket, he allowed them to see this, they would not know it contained spells instead of a story. "I think the two of them are free to leave when they want, They are after all adults like yourself." He said kindly but not stupidly his wand ready and out of sight.

Post by Hayzie on Jan 5, 2006 10:15:19 GMT
I don't think so Hayzie thought silently to herself as she watched Fenris go over to Amy, Sylph and Kasey. There was no way he was doing anything to them if she could help it.
Sidestepping away from the refreshments table, Roan greeted herself and Sylph, but Hayz held up her index finger to indicate she would only be a second. Maybe she could get back to using her gift for dancing some time soon. Picking up the muggle bat she had discarded before, the blonde looked back over to the ever-expanding group by the doors. Fenris had stopped them for now... but now it was Hayzie's turn to stop Fenris. Her weapon of choice? The pinata.
Grinning to herself, Hayz stood right underneath the bag and took aim. The first impact did nothing but make the pinata sway from side to side, with muffle squawking coming from inside it. Shaking her head, the blonde girl jumped and tried again. The tiniest rip made itself apparent, and the noise from inside became louder. Glaring at the bag and giving it one final blow, it ripped for good, and Hayzie dropped the bat behind her and caught two penguins as they fell out, placing a finger on the whipped cream cans they held in their hands.
Nodding over to Fenris and Xailyn, the blonde Head Girl whispered to them: "Go get the taller man with black hair and the woman with him. They did it, then ran off. They deserve some of this, don't you think?"
For a moment, the penguins raised what would have been their eyebrows if they had any, but quickly shrugged it off and jumped to the floor landing considerably well on the roller skates that donned their feet. It took them a while, but eventually, they slid to a stop in front of the group.
"Go for it, guys," Hayz whispered, smirking slightly to herself.
Jumping up, and hovering in the air thanks to a levitation spell Hayzie was using behind the group, the cans of whipped cream were emptied, leaving Fenris's and Xailyn's faces hidden underneath a mass of white swirly cream which also ran onto their clothing. "Interesting," Hayzie mused, "Is that the new look for the season?" dropping the penguins and nodding over to the stage, the blonde hoped the penguins, now playing Jingle Bell rock using the instruments the band had been using before, would provide enough of a distraction for everyone else to run. She would try and deal with Fenris and Xailyn, alone if need be. After all, Fenris was under the impression she was his daughter.
Even if Miss Roberts did know better.

The Tango, oh no that could not be good and sure enough as the blonde nurse looked up she saw Fenris and Xailyn heading there way, she tried to shove the others out of the door but she was too late.
"Well, well, well. Where are you off to in such a hurry? The night is young and the dance has only just begun. I insist that you stay."
Oh great. Kasey thought to herself as the Lycan and Demoness stood before them, "Uh...we were just taking Amy here to the Hospital Wing, she doesn't feel the best" said Kasey glancing at Sylph and Amy to tell them to play along. She could have kicked herself, but so far they seemed to have fallen for it. "So if you will excuse us we....." just then she heard someone whacking at the pinata.
Good ol' Hayz thought Kasey as she looked over at the blonde Head Girl. Suddenly a couple of penguins on roller skates approached the group smothering Fenris and Xailyn in cream. Kasey's jaw fell open and her sapphire eyes widened in shock, gathering herself quickly she reached out a hand for the door handle and flung it open dragging Sylph and Amy out into the corridor, "Thank you Hayz!" the nurse yelled over her shoulder as she broke into a run, laughing as she dragged the other two behind her as they headed for safety.

They were so close. All they had to do was get out of the door and they'd be fine.
Just then, the familiar sound of the band changed abruptly. The players had struck up a fast tango. Sylph glanced over her shoulder. Fenris and the demoness were headed their way. Nearly there... she thought, moving as fast as she could without drawing further suspicion.
Too late.
And "the dance has just begun"?
"And I wonder if that could be the dance of death," Sylph muttered under her breath as Kasey spoke at her side, something about going to the hospital wing, but Sylph was focusing all her senses on the duo before her, waiting cautiously for their next move. In that moment, however, a great thwack! forced an instinctive twist of her neck, toward the source of the sound.
Sylph was surprised to see penguins, of all things, headed swiftly their way. For a moment Sylph wondered how these normally waddling animals were moving so rapidly; then she spied the rollerskates. Rollerskates?! Still, Sylph had no more time to wonder. Suddenly, the birds leapt into the air, and suspended there by some magic, proceeded to spray the two enemies full in the face with whipped cream. Sylph's lip twitched. And again. Short seconds later she was laughing uncontrollably, but even so she was being dragged out of the hall to safety. In the hall she grinned at the two with her, still chuckling to herself.
"And that's why Hayzie is head girl," she said musingly. "So... resourceful."

Post by Xailyn Rose on Jan 6, 2006 23:52:23 GMT
A slight contentment had settled on her, she started to get a taste of warmth. Fenris had body heat, and Xailyn couldn’t help using some of his with the close contact. “No, you most certainly are not a child,” she said with a chuckle, her blood red eyes now staring into Fenris’ eyes. “I just don’t want to give you any sort of frost bite,” she added, glad that someone was okay with her unrealistic cold temperatures. A little grin slipped onto pale lips as they went off into dance, she followed his steps easily. Being as old as the demoness was, she had seen many dances.
As Xailyn’s eyes darted from Fenris, she noticed how some of the students were in a panic. Though, they tried so hard to cover it up. She couldn’t help but chuckle. Who said that the lycan and demoness were up to anything at all? Perhaps they had simply come to enjoy themselves, kids shouldn’t just assume. But alas, in the end brutality would be their main goal for coming, so the students were smart to scurry out while they thought they had a chance. A piercing, icy gaze came over her as she saw them now heading towards the door, ready to actually leave. With a look up at the lycan, she knew that he saw it as well.
Xailyn nodded at what he said, “I was just about to mention that,” she said with a nod, her eyes again following the rushing students. But her eyes returned to Fenris, wide, as his lips pressed against her cheek. Whether it be an act, or not, the thought of Fenris, Fenris Fenrir doing that at all was completely unexpected. “Thank you as well, and I guess we’ll still be together to destroy their happy little night,” she said, a slightly insane grin fell upon her features.
The tune of a tango dance hit her ears, and as Fenris started to step, Xailyn already knew what to do, she moved ‘gracefully’ with him, all though going a tad faster than the tango was meant to be. No matter how fast they were walking out, the lycan and demon had quickly caught up to the forming group of girls. Roan. She was here now talking to Fenris more so than herself, lecturing him on how the girls were only here to have a good time. A long awaited sigh left her supple lips, her eyes hardening as she turned to the girl, “Darling, little did you know, the fleeing girls brought it on themselves. We were causing no harm,” Xailyn said, playing the innocent one. Though of course what the demoness said was true, they were the ones that ran.
The demoness just offered a smile towards the boy, icy, of course, but then it was in her best interest to speak with him. “They weren’t simply leaving, I do believe they were rushing, I just wanted to see what was the matter,” she said, subsiding a chuckle.
And Hayzie did something that would have turned the demoness’ whole icy powers into fire. That may have been her anger level. Did she even know how much she paid for this dress? A demonic growl, much like one a lycan would let out was heard from underneath the fluff of the sticky substance. Luckily, it froze very fast on Xailyn’s face, and all she had to do was bring a hand to her face, and it came off with one grab of the icy block. She allowed it to drop to the floor, silently fuming.
Though Xailyn wanted to rip out Hayzie’s throat, she knew it was a distraction for her friends, and that she should go after them. Though her better instincts were to chase after the group, she couldn’t help as her scarlet irises began to glow a deep, neon red. Her hand reached for her pretty little throat, demonic nails digging at first, gently into her skin, slowly applying pressure. This made her happy, the thoughts that she could easily squish her petty little neck into nothing.
“Why don’t you go after ‘the clan’?” Xailyn asked Fenris, though it was up to him for what he did. Maybe he wanted to kill Hayzie as much as she did.
The demoness’ grip loosened on her neck, and she allowed Hayzie’s feet to hit the ground. Using her once strangling hand, she let a good, powerful b*tch slap run across Hayzie’s face, hopefully knocking her over to the floor.

Sirese didn't anger easily but he didn't like it when someone he was friends with where in danger or hurt. His anger went threw the roof when Hayzie was slapped by the demon. His anger matched hers in a matter of seconds. His wand arm lifted aiming at the two , the demon and the lycan "Ebullio Carcer!" He yelled at the top of his lungs his eyes mirroring her icy gaze though not in the same nature. The bubble like dome shot from his wand as though shot from a gun. When it hit Fenris it entrapped him and the female demon inside. He was thankful to his family and more so to his Aunt who developed the spell he now used.
His eyes as fierce as her "check Hayzie to see if she is ok." He said coldly his eyes never leaving the demoness "you made a huge mistake." He said as coldly as she ever spoke his body stood ridged his wand raised "Don't you ever touch her again." He said coldly Hayzie was likely knocked out and he was not happy about her being hurt. "Someone call the Ministry of Magic and tell them we have two wild beast in the Dance Hall, two beast that need to be destroyed." He said coldly There was reason he was in Slytherin and this anger was one of them.
"Don't try to break that barrier it is magic proof, and unbreakable even by super human means, don't you just love magic." He said with a smile moving to check on hayzie who was just outside the barrier to see if she was alright.

Post by Fenris Fenrir on Jan 8, 2006 2:49:00 GMT
ooc: Ermm...I got two things to say. First off, Xailyn wasn't near me because she went off to smack Hayzie who is near the pinata (and that is no where near me). So there is no way that Xailyn could be trapped with me. And I found a loophole Sirese; and I intend to use it.
Ic: Fenrir was perturbed and surprised when Little Miss Valient poked her faces into his affairs once more, but before he could reply; Xailyn had the situation covered adequately. Though the attitude of the boy was starting to annoy Fenrir; the mortal's arrogance was provening to be too much for his patience to deal with. His warrior's blood began to boil and the puslating, tattoo (ooc:another word for drumbeat) of his heart reached such a fevered pace that Fenris started sweating with anticipation as bis hands clenched together with such force that an iron bar could have been easily bent in any way.
But the lycan's anger ceased for a moment, as if it never happened at all, for with the sound of a hiss; a column of whipped cream was sprayed directly in his face. Shocked from the randomness of the sudden attack, Fenrir tittered backward as he wiped his glasses clean of the creamy solid. So much happened within the time that it took him to fully see again; Xailyn had attacked Hayzie, the apparent culprit, and now the lycan was trapped within a dome of magic. But Xailyn was free for she was standing over Hayzie who was no where near him, so she could continue on with her mayhem. Fenrir on the other hand, would have to find another way out.
Glaring daggers at the backs of the retreating students, Fenrir turned his gaze onto the barrier that held him in place. Tentively touching the barrier, he was thrown backward and landed in a heap. That didn't put a stop to him; Fenrir was back on his feet and threw himself at the barrier with reckless abandon; he was not just a beast and he would not be destroyed. This was no longer a fight to cause mayhem; if he didn't break out of this infernal trap he was doomed to Death and Damnation. But then the crucial key in the puzzle snapped into place, and it was the boy's very words that provided Fenrir with his escape route.
The now-disheveled and bleeding Fenris Fenrir, looking like his older self, smiled grimly as he undid the neck strap of his overcoat. The boy confidently stated that magic wouldn't break the barrier; Fenrir couldn't perform magic at all. Superhuman abilities wouldn't break down the wall of magic that trapped him; so his feats of supernatural strength wouldn't help him now. Yet there was one thing that the boy clearly forgotten about. "Boy; it's clear that you forgot one important thing when you put me in this dome. I am Fenris Fenrir", leered the man as his ear started to change while a tail started sprouting from his rear with grey fur popping up everywhere.
The tall lycan's nose started to enlarge and seemed to be pushing away from the skull as his muzzle was being formed. Within minutes Fenris had dropped on all fours and continued to grow in size until he stood at 8 ft; his head brushing against the top of the dome. Yet the barrier that was meant to contain him buckled and allowed the wolf, not man, to pass out of it's confines. It was not magic or superhuman feats that saved Fenrir; it was simply not only being human that helped him in his escape.
And now he was leering like a loon as he advanced on the boy that trapped him. 'You had to interfere; you had to play hero didn't you laddie? Well guess what Einstien? You get to pay for your theory of being the Hero failing. Do you think that I would let the girl Hayzie Roberts be harmed to such an extreme? She is my daughter laddie, and you have to go through the Pappa to date the daughter. Should have enjoyed your dancing boy; should've never done what you did to me. Now; you will feel the meaning of true pain and suffering.'
Bounding forward, Fenris collided into the boy and sank his blunt, but still deadly, claws into the boy's back. If he pressed hard enough; he could paralyze the boy for life, but that was not his goal. The largest collection of nerves in the body were there, save in the brain, and that was what his goal was. The boy was to suffer; to cry and beg for mercy. But would he listen to mercy pleaded from someone showed him none at all? Pressing his claws in harder, Fenrir's bass voice whispered in the boy's mind, 'Now you will get an understanding of pain and suffering; the kind that normally comes right before Death. And before the end of this demonstration; you will be begging for mercy, but why should I grant you that? I am only an ignorant beast; I need to be destroyed. I AM NOT JUST A BEAST! I AM MORE A PERSON THAN YOU SHALL EVER BE, YOU FOOL OF A BOY! IN THE END IT SHALL BE YOU; NOT I, THAT WILL BURN IN SATAN'S PALACE!'

When Xailyn made her attack, Roan wanted to jump in and tear Hayzie from the demoness's clutches, but was too slow to do anything. Luckily Mr. Prince was able to step in and protect the Head Girl from Xailyn. Though at that moment, the 'Puff refused to make a move, wanting to stay out of the conflict as long as she could. The shields were doing quite nicely, and Roan admired the work. Until Fenris found a loophole of course, and managed through the magical barrier. Still the girl stood there, tense and ready to spring if need be. When the lycan lunged, she gave a growl of her own. If there was a God, she hates me. The girl thought grimly, quickly leaning over and sliding off her heeled shoes. It seemed that she would not be getting the relief she wanted this night, danger followed her everywhere.
Swiftly her hand went to the wand holding the bun in her hair, drawing it out like a sword and brandishing it at the lycan. Long brown hair tumbled down in curls, falling about the girl's shoulders. "Leave him alone Fenris!" She said bodly, wincing as she saw his claws into Sirese's back, remembering that day in the lake when the lycan had done the same. It hurt like heck, but healed after a time. The boy was lucky Fenris didnt do worse at the time, though if nobody intervened, she was sure he would. Shifting her weight into a steadier stance, she made sure she would be ready should the demoness or lycan spring at her. "Leave him alone..." She repeated, hazel eyes flashing dangerously.
"You mess with my friends or the students with this school, you mess with me. I thought you would have learned that by now lycan. For the first time now, I find good reason in attacking you, and will do so without remorse." Roan took a step towards the lycan, running through her mind spells and moves like she always did before a fight, selecting the perfect one. She knew that Fenris hated fire, problem was, Roan was terrified of it too. And setting him on fire would probably end up with her in flames as well, unlike casting it on a student. And it would do no good to have the Dance Hall burning, not yet at least. No, the girl would only resort to her favorite spell if it absolutley came to it.
Right now she had to get the attention of her greatest enemy, so the fight would be more focused and sharper. "No, you are a beast Fenris, we have gone over this many a time, dont make me explain it again. Though you are part human, as I said the first time I met you. Though I see you got your ignorance and cruelty and outright wrong views on life from your human side." She said with a smirk, trying to rile the lycan up. Then another thought dawned on her, something she knew would be so perfect, she could taste it. "Do we need examples Mr. Fenrir? Should I divulge the words you uttered to me that day in the forest about your past before all the listening ears of the Dance Hall. Of how you were a squib, how you were kicked out of a wizarding school, how you were shunned as a human? Need I go on?" She said simply.
Everything she had said she had been warned to never mention again, too bad Roan didnt care. Right now the fight to come was more important. The girl didnt forget about Xailyn when she made her next moves, she just acted herself. "Confundus!" She shouted, aiming the confusing spell directly at the demoness with precision, turning back towards the lycan, fury in her hazel eyes. With a quick movement, she ran at the lycan on top of the boy, and rammed him with her shoulder, sending a dull ache down it, but it was worth it. Hopefully it would send the lycan off Mr. Prince. Carefully she dragged the boy behind her, standing guard over the Slytherin. "Bombarda!" She screamed, aiming her wand directly at Fenris's feet. Roan was praying that the others got away, she would not enjoy chasing down an angry lycan and demoness as they went after prey. But all the same, she would. For once again, she found herself face to face with a battle she could not win.

Hayzie had managed to stiffle laughter at the reactions the penguins had given. Her friends had got away safely, hopefully half way to their destination by the time Xailyn and Fenris had even registered what had happened. Their faces were a mixture of furiosity and on one face, near-amusement. After that, everything seemed to move.
The black and green haired demoness was heading in her direction, but still, the blonde girl held her ground. Panic was beginning to build up inside her, the butterflies which resided there having a field day and shredding her intestines to pieces. In her mind, Hayz had a feeling Xailyn would have her shredded guts for garters and it was almost a relief to only be lifted off the floor by her neck.
Almost.
The coldness which was coming from her hands left Hayzie's throat feeling dry and thankfully partially numbed the feeling of nails digging in to the skin leaving holes she would much rather not have there. However it did nothing to numb the resounding slap which left the blonde Head Girl stumbling to the floor for the second time that evening. The plain green dress she was wearing was seeing a lot more floor action than even Hayzie had anticipated that night. The dance was most definitely turning out to be more eventful than she had expected.
The next thing that Hayz saw was Sirese trapping Fenris inside a huge bubble. The force of the demon's impact had sent her to the floor, but as the old song went: I get knocked down, but I get up again. "No need to call the Ministry," Hayzie muttered to herself, getting quickly to her feet and running over to her wheelchair where she had left her wand. The blonde had a feeling she may need it sooner rather than later. She had caused all of this, and now Sirese was getting hurt for it. Fenris had escaped his magical prison and was now digging his claws in to her dance partner's back. "No!" she shouted out loudly, running over to the scene and shouting: Petrificus Totalus! to hopefully freeze Fenris, before turning on her heel quickly and repeating the spell on Xailyn. All Hayz could do was keep her fingers crossed it would hold them for long enough so they could hear out what she had to say.
"Xailyn, I apologise for getting cream on your dress," the blonde girl whispered, muttering a stain removal spell so the stain on the red dress disappeared almost instantly. Looking back to Fenris, knowing she had more to deal with with the wolf than the demon, Hayzie's green eyes looked almost resigned. Roan had thankfully removed Sirese from Fenris' reach, but knew the Hufflepuff's words weren't going to be welcomed. "Fenris... it's Christmas. Everyone has come here to have a good time, to be with friends, to make new friends, and to dance. Pappa, no one implied anything about a date," The 'P' word was the only word that was uttered in the complete opposite tone to the calm one the rest of her words were spoken in. She had to play along, at least for now. "Everyone was having a good time... so if we are to continue this, I'd suggest a meeting tomorrow evening. It's Christmas. Put all of this on hold for one day... please?" The Head Girl's tone became one more pleading now. She knew the spell would be wearing off any time soon, as would the one enabling her to walk. All she could do was hope. And hope was a wonderous thing.
