The red flames flickered and died in the hall, and blue ones shot up all around. The Ravenclaws immediately began cheers that drowned out those of the previously victorious Gryffindors, and Rose laughed, remembering fondly her own memories of being in the Ravenclaw house. "Alright, folks, settle down," she said with a grin, getting her wand at the ready to announce the result. "Ravenclaws are known for their incredible wit, intelligence and strength of mind - but which of you holds these qualities in such regard that even Rowena Ravenclaw would be put to shame by them? The Golden Snitch Award for Cleverest Ravenclaw goes to..." [glow=blue,2,300]TEAGAN![/glow]

Teagan watched quietly from Ravenclaw's area in the audience, impatiently waiting for the awards to be finished with. Normally, she was able to manage to keep her attention held onto by what was going on, but award ceremonies had no benefit in paying attention to. Of course, most of the students had to come to watch this; the only exceptions were those stuck in the Hospital Wing for some reason or those not at the school.
Unfortunately, Teagan had been one of the many students attending. Being a prefect, they'd probably be noticed if she were gone. The other students need a new hobby, she thought boredly. The tiring stress of organizing all of the Ravenclaw students and dragging them down had been a chore. It made her feel as if a fine plaster of mud was slithering through her body; in other words, it was not fun. It seemed as if her delicate capillaries were suffocating, chunked by the by the little bits of clotting non-existent mud. Following suit, it seemed as if her blood vessels were slowing, and her arteries were being pumped with less of an amount of the vast fluid that circulated through every human body.
Of course, there really was no such thing as this impending doom of mud clogging up her system; let's just say she would be very grateful once the awards had finally been distributed. So far, she had managed to sit up straight and not set her head on one of her smooth hands with their spider-like fingers that had hard nails that also had a tendency to pierce through her outer layer of skin cells and occasionally make red marks that soon faded to match the rest of her pale skin. If she did, then it probably meant that it was time for her to find something to toy with while waiting; it would most likely involve her using her wand to play with magic, charming or transfiguring some nearby random object.
Still, she quietly clapped in the exceedingly large crowd as names continuously spurted from the headmistress's wand. For most of the names that came out, Teagan wasn't surprised. Of course, she became more pleased as the ceremony came closer to its end, but she was also becoming more tired before as the minutes ticked by. Yet, she knew that she'd suddenly be bursting with energy after the last names were called; why? Because they'd finally be able to go back to the common room and they could do something slightly more entertaining there. She kind of felt sorry for Headmistress Rose, but greatly respected her ability to stand on stage for so long giving out awards for this.
Teagan yawned lightly. Other than giving out awards and making the winners feel oh-so-glorious, she really didn't find much reason to be there. After the Hayzie and Aylen were given their awards, a polite smile crept upon her calm expression. Anyway, she supposed that she would need to at least try being polite. Her settle clapping had still been drowned out by all of the other moving hands.
Finally, the award all of her house had been waiting for was ready to be announced; it was the Cleverest Ravenclaw award. Teagan's first guess was that it would be Persephone, the other prefect of Ravenclaw that was always (except when involved in getting a certain other Ravenclaw prefect to go to a certain Christmas ball) nice, friendly, and loved by everyone. Teagan, on the other hand, was just there; all she ever did was help students out with things half the time, and the other half she was avoiding them with every possible opportunity. Sephe was easily more well-liked by everyone AND she was the Ravenclaw seeker; what could more famed than that?
Then, a very familiar name that made Teagan gape darted out of the wand.
WHAT?!
The name was so familiar that Teagan was struck in aghast monstrosity and her mind boomed into a blankness with one word written on its entirety: What the "beep"...... (Okay, it was three words and a lot of dots, but who really cares?) Since when did she win awards? Avoiding people was generally not suppose to help you get noticed for stuff, nor was it supposed to make you have to walk up in front of the hundreds of students you had been trying so hard to avoid; her attempt had been more than an absolute failure; it was a vast nightmare that caused her to prefer watching Fenris get his award several times over, and that was scary enough by itself.
Suddenly, the prefect felt herself being shoved out of her seat and into the isle. Unfortunately, she had chosen to sit in one of the last rows. At the time, it seemed like a good decision, but, now, she'd have to walk by everyone! This is bad! This is so very, very freaking bad!
Hair flying wildly behind her, she found that she was on the path, the path of doom that led to the stage. It was like some poisoned tongue of a menacing beast (like a very particular dragon in a very familiar forest). Of course, there was no way she intended to drag out the horrors awaiting her; quickly, Teagan walked up and onto the stage. There were several cheers from the crowd. Some of them were waving signs for some bizarre reason that said, "TFF!" Other people were shouting, "Go, T!"
Soon, her embarrassment faded. What on Earth was this TFF-thing? Was it something else her maniacal writer had come up with? If it was, she really didn't want to know what it was about--unfortunately, it seemed to also involve her. What had that psychotic behemoth been up to? She hadn't actually carried through with her threat to make a group titled "Terrifying Fluttering Faeries (with Glitter)," did she?! She knew what Teagan's greatest fears were, after all. Suddenly, the prefect decided that she really did not want her Ravenclaw-like trait of curiosity--for the time being, anyway.
Then, what was this "T" bit about? Did it stand for "Terrifying" like what her first guess about TFF had been? Wait--they were calling her terrifying? Fenris had been much more terrifying than her, or had he hit them too hard in his assults?
After suspiciously glancing around the crowd, Teagan's expression relaxing in one that seemed to be completely free of worries--though, she would have to try and break out of her box to see what her writer had been scheming later. With an innocent smile, and oddly cheerful voice that spoke quickly called out, "Aw, thanks, everybody! I would like to think Maí Lé Rosà for not strangling me at the lake, Operea for not chomping my head off, Shae and Sammy for talking to me when I first arrived, and not Sephe teaming with Sammy for forcing me to go to a ball that coincidentally had your Most Evil Character for two thousand five and a demoness we should all remember from divinations.
"Thank you." After receiving her award, Teagan unhesitatingly walked back to her seat. Had her writer just made her do something she normally wouldn't do?.... This would have been so much easier to deal with if those ridiculus boxes hadn't been made...
