Though it may seem stupid, seeing how Ron does say in Chamber of Secrets "If we never married muggles, we'd have died out." Indicating that such breeding between didn't exist before recently, has anyone ever considered Godric Gryffindor to be the Half-Blood Prince?
After all, they were the greatest wizards of the time and probably Royalty...plus Gryffindor and Slytherin didn't get along when it came to Muggle-born wizards and witches. Gryffindor may have had empathy for them because of his parentage.
This all occured to me when I was surfing jkrowling.com and saw that a "Discovery that Harry made in 'chamber' will affect a discovery made in 'prince'." I thought first "The Sword of Gryffindor!" and then "GODRIC GRYFFINDOR MAY BE THE PRINCE!"
Tell me what you think.

I think that makes sense. ^_^
I personally don't want to pick someone and hope or try to prove that they're the Prince, but that's an interesting thought, Mr. Windwaltz! ^^

Actually, I haven't really given HBP too much thought. We'll find out when it comes out. XD
But you have an interesting theory there, Talon. *nodnod* It's certainly plausible, I think.

...XD... very interesting Talon never though of it that way before, but it does make sense.
Harry Potter being the main character and getting his part in the story is true.
But we do have to wait for the 6th book to come out..

I agree with Talon, the thoery of it is very possible, J.K with all her foreshadowing can really hide fatcs can't she. I mean it is not till she points them out do you see them

It certainly makes sense, Talon. However, there are many possibilities. Your theory is the most plausible I have heard of yet though. ;D

Hey! I just thought of more proof for my theory:
When J.K. was asked at that book signing thing whether she would make a prequel series (seeing how everyone loves the misadventures of the Marauders, and the tales of the four founders), she responded that "by the end of the book series, you'll have had enough backstory to cover you."
Plus, on the cover, it shows Harry and Dumbledore staring into what I suppose is the Pensieve, and perhaps that's them looking into the past...
*canna wait until book comes out now, and gets proved totally wrong*
