This is just a little bit of poetry. I must thank Talon Windwaltz, in some warped way, for dragging something as depressing as this out of my mind. If you are wondering, this was inspired by a mere conversation which actually had few things this depressing in it.
*Le Warning- It does deal with thoughts of suicide. Don't read if you don't want to. *
As of right now, I lack the inspiration for a title. Do feel free to suggest one.
I'd wish for just one more chance, To make you laugh; to see you cry. But I watched the darkness setting in, And in it, kissed you goodbye.
I'd watch the streams run down my arms, Metallic taste of liquid red, Thinking of those words you said, Watching me, as I fell instead.
I'd say goodbye to all those dear, Fight away the clinging arms, But biting back the growing fear, How I'd wish that you were near.
I'd regret the things I said, Harsh and angry words exchanged, The growing pain; a soft, white bed, Falling, without a single friend.
So.... any input?

You want to know my thoughts? Well, most of them you know for I too was part of that conversation. As for the poem, I did find it to be rather moving and could never bring myself to write poetry like that.
And you are looking for a title? How about "Lost in a Lifetime"? Tis just a thought though.

I do like that title. ^^ Lost in a Lifetime it is.
As for my own poetry, I find I rarely write anything that just.... clicks. Something has to strike me a certain way. In this case, it was mostly frustration and a mere comment from Talon to bring back something I'd forgotten.

Yep... That's something I'd see come out of a conversation with Jacob. (No offense, it's just the truth.)
I adore it, it's a beautiful piece. The title that Dan gave it, too, was lovely. It suits it nicely.
