This is a song-story... If you haven't guessed. I'm taking a go on story writing.. It's been awhile. I'm not sure how it will turn out. If I get enough positives, I'll post more. I hope ya enjoy! ^_^
And thanks to Evanescence for making teh lovely song "My Immortal."

Pretending to sleep, a girl hid beneath her covers. She wasn’t particularly fond of the dark. It brought too many memories, surrounding her with what it was, what could’ve been. She spun on her bed, feet met with cold wood floors. She stumbled around the room, until her hand grasped the radio dial. She could play her music, her parents couldn’t hear – they were off at the other end of the house. She turned the dial, hoping for a song stuffed with happiness, bringing her to former bliss. But, no, all she heard was the lyrics of Aaliyah. ‘Come back to me. Can you hear me calling for you? ‘Cause it’s been too long and I’m lost without you. What am I gonna do? I’ve been needing you, wanting you.’
She turned it again, hoping for something that would get her through the night. ‘Someday I will. Someday, somehow, I’m gonna make it alright, but not right now.’ She screamed, frustrated. Why? Did everything that happened have to bring back what was gone? Another turn of the damned dial. ‘You and me… Used to be together. Everyday together – always.’ No more! Irritated, she popped in a CD, and dealt with it, putting in a song that really captured her feelings. ‘My Immortal’ by Evanescence. She allowed Amy Lee’s vocals to sooth her, notes so loud they broke her constant thoughts. She fell back into her bed, shutting her eyes tight.
She woke with a gasp, cold sweat clinging to her. Her eyes hurt from the light that poured into her eyes, making her shut them fast. She looked at the clock, it read 7:00, quickly she jumped from her bed. Another day to live through. Her mind wandered to her dream – it was like he was still there, still holding her. It always came, every night, taking her a bit further. Teasing her when she woke to reality.
She walked into the kitchen, staring at her mom through dull blue eyes. They had once been crystallized, a cheery blue. She used to wear her hair blond, silky, soft. Now it was slick black, she always changed for mood. Emotions conducted her life. Her mom walked over to her, holding her into a tight embrace, “Have a good day at school, I have to get to work… But I’ll be home when you get back from school – and we can go shopping… Sound fun?” She kissed her forehead, and let go of her mourning daughter.
“Sure,” Kelly said, forcing a smile on her pale lips. She was glad she had a supportive mother to help her through her loss. But it was hard to, Bryan was gone, someone she had fallen in love with. She waved to her mom as she fled out the door, piles of books heaped in her arms.
Kelly walked back to her room, grabbing denim pre-faded knickers (complete with random holes), and a clingy black tank. She walked over to her mirror, grabbing navy eye shadow, spreading it over her lids. She grabbed black kohl liner, outlining her entire eye heavily. She finished the look with two coats of mascara. She grabbed her bag and headed towards her bus stop. She reached into her bag, pulling out a tube of mahogany lips gloss. She coated it over pale lips, enhancing the minimal amount of color.
She walked met up with her friend, Lora, she held her in a hug, “How’ve you been doing?” She asked concerned. She was one of her true friends, the rest of them only said, ‘Oh, that’s too bad.’ But Lora, everyday, checked up on Kelly. Always filling her with the happiness she had once bathed in.
“I’m pretty crappy, it’s a long, hard process,” Lora was someone she told the truth to, she would never lie to her as she did her other friends. Never uttering an unconvincing ‘I’m fine.’ And she could see through it, Kelly knew, Lora knew if she spoke anything but the truth. She didn’t know what she’d do without her, and her mother. She’d die.

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears

And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
