Not many know about my character. In fact, I haven't been around much because I've just been growned for 8 weeks... But enough about that! I'm going to tell people about my character, Selene. Personally, I don't like it a lot. It's probably really common and all, but I've been dying, for some unknown reason, to post and share Selene's past. If anyone wants to know something, just post. Constructive critism is welcome and enjoyed (even the flames).
Oh, and I'm going to write this in first-person. Alright?
~--|--~
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
What's my name? Who are my parents? Where do I live? Where am I?
Not being able to think straightly, I looked up from where I layed. The bed I layed in was old and the wood was chipped and worn. The sheets were a slightly faded white, while the bedspread altogether was a dirt brown. The hangings from which drapped around her being were the color of the bedspread. Sunlight was streaming through the window on the left side of the room she sat in. A desk was right in front of her.
The desk, however, caught my attention. A thick book could be seen. Also, a black velvet sack on top of that same book. Next to the book and sack was a very thin, and barely visible envolope. Standing with wobbling legs, I stood. Just then, I felt and heard the sound of rustling satin. Looking down, I saw a set of matching lavender shirt and shorts. They were neat and clean, like new.
Continuing my journey to the desk across the room, I thought of my situation. Lost to myself. Finally reaching the desk, I looking to envolope. It had a name written on it.
SELENE WILLOW BLOODSWORTH
Am I Selene Willow Bloodsworth? Not knowing what to do, I picked it up anyway. The seal on it was a crest with a stag and several patterns, melted into the wax. I thought it beautiful briefly before ripping open the envolope and unfolding a piece of parchment. The ink didn't look faded, which meant it not old. Squinting her eyes, I began to read the fine words printed.
Dear Our Moon Star,
Even if you never remember us due to the charm, we will never forget you. You were our world and more. More important than the air we breath right now. Never forget (if you remember) these facts, Selene. But we had to give you up. We had to; we had no choice but to do so. We will tell you why, so please do not blame: You-Know-Who is gathering forces; do not think different of it, it is fact, so do not sway from it! The Prophet will say differ, but never, we order, believe their lies! You-Know-Who, like we have stated, is gathering forces. He has sent us a worning, dear Selene. One we cannot passby and ingore. It is such a terrible thing to consider, but forgive us, Selene! Forgive!
Around now, I could see tear marks run the ink slightly, but the author tried to erase by making the runnung words more bolder by over writing with the black ink. Are they sad? I wondered. Do they wish this this Selene to forgive them for a unforgivable deed? Wanting to Know more, I read on.
You-Know-Who has threatened to kill you if we do not join his forces. At that moment, when we had found this news, we almost stopped breatheing. Our dear Selene, die? We have always opposed His principles of life and death. But he threatened to kill you, Selene, if we did not join his order of Death Eaters. We could not bear to have you killed, Selene! So, we have done something that will get us killed but keep you safe from harm's way: we are going to hide you away, from both Him and us. And like we have stated once, to keep you from harm's way.
We have enrolled you at Magical Horizon. It is a school on an island between France and England. It is one of the last places You-Know-Who would look for you. A Glamour Spell has been placed on you to change your appearance. The shoulder length, midnight-black hair you have once had is now replaced with long, silver hair. Your once hazel-blue eyes are now silver-blue. Do you like your new appearance, Selene? It was Mummy's idea. Also, you have grown a bit taller; only four inches, though. Enough about appearances, though. You must know everything else!
Half of our vault's money has been put into your own vault, which had a very small amount. Now, you should have 63 golden galleons, 81 silver sickles, and 115 bronze knuts. Before the Memory Charm was placed on you, we went shpping in Diagon Alley. A new set of books were bought for you, but the robes and dress robes had to be left out, due to the fact that we were going to put the Galmour on you that night. A new wand will have to be given as well. We don't know what the spell has done to your personality and intellect. Hopefully, if we ever meet you again, you will remember us. It not, however, we know what we have done has hurt you very, very much. Please forgive us, as we have asked.
To fill you in on basic principles, you are goin to enter your third year. You might be a little behind, Selene, because of your memory loss. Also, you are thirteen. Also, even though we know it is dangerous and will possibly give you away, you are going to keep you away. Selene Willow Bloodsworth. The Bloodsworths are an English family who have been known for a very long time; at least as long as the Blacks and Malfoys. Our family, different from the Blacks and Malfoys, is that we rarely mess with the Dark Arts, as have the other two we have mentioned. The Dark Arts have only, possibly, ever been touched over our soul, is when we were threatened or tricked into it. Do not be the next, Selene. Do not.
Now, the book on this desk is a journal for you. It's pages are blank, to be filled with your future history. The velvet sack is of the galleons you are to spend in Diagon Alley. Use the money wisely, and do not stray too far from the truth, if you can help it.
~Mummy and Daddy
P.S. Ask the innkeeper, Tom, for help to get into Diagon Alley. He will help you get out of the Leaky Cauldren.
P.P.S. The trunk at the front of the bed you have slept in is brand new; a gift from us to ypu. Enjoy you new life, Little Moon Star.
I stared sadly at the letter for a moment and brought my hand to my hair. The hair between my fingers was smooth and silky. Long, too. Very long. When I brought it to my eyes, I could see it was silver. "Selene," I said slowly. The voice that came out of my mouth seemed to high for my likes. I wanted it a bit deeper. Was my voice changed as well as my looks? "Selene," I said once again." What a pretty name..."
