In case you guys don't know what a One Shot is, it's a single chapter Fanfic which is normally really quick and deep.
Going Home
In the farthest reaches of Switzerland, there lived a family of people in a happy home. It had a happy man, a happy woman, a happy boy, and a happy girl. Each of them had rich black hair, and black eyes. Everyday at 7:00AM they would wake up, each and every one, eat breakfast, and then wash up. They would go about their daily business, but at 9:00 at night they would all settle into bed and prepare for the next day. However, this happy home was not as it seemed. For it was in this house 15 years ago that the original owners had been brutally murdered by a Vampire named Damion. And the one person who had killed Damion in the end, was none other than the Elder Brother of the one who owned the house now. And that person was named Kaiser. His original name, given by his parents, was forgotten. For Kaiser Inferno, as he called himself now, was the reincarnation of an ancient evil that threatened Rome back during the Empire. This one now, was nothing but the reincarnation of the horror.
Kaiser Inferno had been on many adventures since Damion’s death, and had even fallen in love with a girl named Amiri. It was on a fine summer morning, that it occurred to Kaiser that he and Amiri would have to go back to the house where he was born. So he told Amiri all about it, and she became excited. He was glad, for it wouldn’t have been much going back home without her. The two of them packed up, and took a train from France to Switzerland. It was when he reached the house, that he got the biggest surprise. Sitting outside on the bench which he remembered sitting on as a child, was a man with rich black hair, contrasting to Kaiser’s white, and Kaiser shouted at the sight of him “Lazarus! I can’t believe it!” Lazarus, or so he was called, walked over to the man. “You…can’t be…but…Julius?” Kaiser smiled, and bowed his head, “Lazarus, you’ve really grown up.” A great smile of unsurpassed joy spread on the man’s face, “And you haven’t grown up at all Julius! My big brother-I can’t believe it! I thought when Mom and Dad died, and you tried to pursue that blood sucking freak, you died too…that was so long ago!”
That was when Lazarus realized who was next to him. “Oh? A girl? Is this your wife, Julius?” Kaiser laughed, “No, no. She’s my girlfriend, Amiri.” Lazarus held out his hand in a very wise attempt at being a gentleman, “Pleasure to meet you Amiri.” She nodded, and held out her hand, “Pleasure to meet you too, Mr. Lazarus.” Lazarus guffawed, “Ha! Don’t call me ‘Mister’, we’re practically family anyway!” Amiri smiled, “Lazarus, then.” Lazarus turned back to his Brother, “I suppose I’ll go and tell Rebecca that you’re here.” Kaiser raised an eyebrow, “Rebecca? So…you’re living together now?” Lazarus laughed, “No! Rebecca and I married about ten years ago! We actually have two children.” Kaiser seemed taken aback, “You MARRIED Rebecca? Good show on you, Lazarus. And I have nephews or nieces? Well let me meet them!” Lazarus ran inside the house, and Amiri turned over to Kaiser, “Why does he call you Julius, Kai?” Kaiser looked back at Amiri, “Because Julius is my real name. But please do call me Kaiser. I’m only Julius while I’m home.”
They were inside the house, and eating dinner. Rebecca and Kaiser, or Julius, as he was called now by all, got to know each other again. Lazarus’s childhood sweetheart, Rebecca and Lazarus met when they were 11 years old, and yet now they had been married 10 years happily. The children all knew him as ‘Uncle Julius’ and were very pleased that they had an Uncle. However, when all was said and done, at 9:00 they quickly rushed to Bed. “Can’t we stay up a little longer?” spoke Kaiser, but the four who lived there suddenly had a dark look on their faces. “What?” They looked at him as if he was insane. “You must go to bed at 9:00, and wake up at 7:00, those are the rules Julius. You must do it, off to bed, I’m locking all the doors, that’s how we have to do things.” And Kaiser and Amiri went off to bed, and immediately fell asleep. The next few days, it was the same. Kaiser was home again, but he had to go to sleep at 9:00. It was one day…that he didn’t. And that day he fell asleep as he looked at the clock. “9:01” the clock read, and he heard an unlocking sound downstairs, and then fell asleep. The next morning, it was the same, but something was amiss. Lazarus had a stone cold look on his face. “What’s wrong Lazarus?” asked Kaiser, and Lazarus looked up at his brother.
“Brother, this may be the end.” Kaiser looked at him funny. “You see, when this house was cursed…it was ruled by Demons. And one…gave us our peace, but as long as we followed his rules. For some reason, we have to go to sleep at 9:00.” Kaiser wondered if the unlocking sound was the Demon. “I specialize in beating the living crap out of Demons if you need my help.” Lazarus chuckled, “No Julius. This one can not be beaten…he’s otherworldly.” And that night, as he was about to doze off at the stroke of 9:00, he heard a horrible scream. Kaiser rushed out of his room, and rushed down the stairs, to find Rebecca screaming. “He…pushed passed me…and…” Kaiser rushed into the next room, to see a horrible sight. Amiri was lying, covered in blood, as Kaiser rushed to her side. “You’re…dying.” He said, as he held her close to him. She was crying, though he could tell from the look on her face she was trying to stop it. He still kept her close to him, but then he felt a sharp pain from his neck. As he turned around, he saw just the person he expected.
“You…it’s always you…isn’t it?” “I hate you.” “Why can’t you ever die?” Those were the words that came into his mind. But the first thing he did, was rush at him sword drawn, and knocked the enemy to the ground. The two fought, until at last, he had wounded his enemy to the lowest point. He grabbed a cross, silver, and charged over to stab him and finish him once and for all. But the enemy grabbed him by the arms just as he was stabbed. They both began to burn horribly, consuming them both into the Hellfire. “I do, truly, hate you.” “But you just can’t live without me, can you? Look at yourself, killing you to kill me…pathetic.” “You kill without will…you’re nothing but a damn nightmare!” And then for the first time he saw him with both his eyes open, his red hair everywhere, burning. “Eurus Gaftler, at your service.”
The End.
I'm sorry if I just seriously wasted your time, but it's a dream I had once and I felt I had to write it down.
