Adia was well aware that she was passing her life into other hands by entering the Valkeries Hideaway, but she was, truly, beyond caring.
She crouched behind the rock wall that seperated the lair from the passageway, and looked inside. It was huge - solid rock walls that reached up so high you could barely see the ceiling, and there were holes, crevices, in almost every part of the wall. It would be completely black if it weren't for five craters in the side of the Hideaway, each one giving off a different coloured light.
Adia swept her long black hair out of her eyes and stood, entering the Hideaway properly. She had shed her school robes for black jeans and a black poloneck. Walking over to the craters, she saw that each of them was actually filled with flames - all but one, which was empty. Green, orange, red and purple... they were all entrancing, but were not what she had came for.
Turning, her large inky eyes peered into the shadowy place, searching for signs of movement, of life. She made no move to speak; if she could stumble upon a sleeping Valkerie it might be better to her advantage.

Though the girl was soon covered by a black shadow, and a long hand swept over her forehead, the body heat coming from within ten times the amount of a regular human being. The shadow made no noise, or any sign of appearance, though at last a sound of disgruntled disappointment was made. "Ugh. I know you." The hand quickly withdrew, and the shadow disappated to reveal a tall male figure with an ashen black robe and long snow white hair. "Adia..." The man cooed. "Yes. You're Acerbus's little puppet."
Throwing his hand to his side, the Valkerie growled without threat. It was more a sign of intense annoyance. "I believe you've done him and myself both a little bit of trouble in the past, what with your love of Miss Michaels." Kaiser moved his wispy effeminate body a tiny bit, allowing his robe to smooth out and his eyes to remain in focus. They were icy blue, like the color associated with arctic water. "You should know better than to expect the Valkeries to be snoozing when a human enters. We're not like those ghastly Vampires or those beastly Lycans. We're not restricted to senses or energy." With this pompous inflation of himself and his sisters, he rose his hand again in a Caesarian manner.
"You're lucky, however, that you have connections to my dear friend," Kaiser said supersiliously, "I will give you a chance to explain why you intruded on our home."

From a ledge high up in the Hideaway, Whisper was watching the interaction carefully.
She had been sleeping, once again gripped by dreams of darkness that she did not understand, but only knew they were a warning. But who for? The eldest Valkerie had been awoken by a tingling down her spine, a tingling she knew to mean a stranger in their midst. She had half-considered letting her brother deal with the intruder by himself, but when she realised who it was who walked through the door, she had been suddenly wide awake.
Leaning her head on her arms, she peered over the edge, her ivory tresses spilling over, and her black wings ruffling slightly as she watched curiously. Unknown to Adia, she sent a message to her brother:
Be nice to this one, Kaiser. You know as well as I that Acerbus would kill you if you were the one who got to get rid of the scrawny little pest.

Adia felt a burning heat on her forehead, but the fire only tingled in an irritating manner - the flames that burned everlasting in her veins were not quite as affected by it as a human, but there was no doubt that the Elemental was still nowhere near immune to the firepower of the Valkeries.
She faced Kaiser with still black eyes, aware that she would find neither friend nor enemy in him. Having never been this close to a Valkerie, she took a moment to view the glorious creation that stood before her - Kaiser was right, they were not like Vampires or Lycans, the creatures that stank of evil and fed on life. There was something about the grace and flawlessness of the Valkeries that almost made her believe she was standing before something pure, from Heaven. She bowed her head, almost feeling like she was standing before an angel, awaiting her Judgement.
"Please pardon my intrusion," said Adia, deciding it was best to hold back her immense anger at first being called Acerbus's puppet, and then alluding to her old friendship with Kiki. All was past, all was past. "I didn't know where else to go. I have come to beg of you to impart some of the wisdom from your Sight. I would be in your debt for the rest of my life, I do not expect it to come without price... but I really have nowhere else to turn. The Headmistress has abilities in this area, but... but... I cannot go to her."
Adia's head snapped up again, her big black eyes gazing at the Valkerie, begging, pleading. She was not one for demeaning herself, but if it meant she got what she wanted, then she would do anything. "I have to know... the circumstances of my Master's death. Danawi. Who put an end to him? Is he truly vanquished? I know it seems like no matter, it is over, it is done... but he was all I had, and I would like to know of his demise. Please."
