OOC- Please excuse my absense, I have been busy with the school life. BIC- A figure moved quickly through the moonlight, invisible to the human eye. Walking into the entrance only an outline of the lycan could be seen. Her golden wolven eyes glowed through the shadows of the tunnels. A paw splashed upon a puddle, making it ripple beneath her feet. She looked up to the lair before her, her home. She walked inside, unnoticed by those within. Her paws silently padded along the path, swallowed by the darkness. For a few moments only darkness consumed her and her thoughts. She remembered the past, haunting her memories and dreams. It had been years ago since the rule of Foster and Mondia, how time came past. She looked back and forth in hopes to find anyone inside. A flicker of light was seen within meters. Almost as if a flicker of hope had sparked within her mind. She sighed softly to see a small fire burning. She sat down by the fire, it defrosting the ice from her fur. Looking around, she assumed the others were out hunting. Hopefully they would be back soon.....Her head softly fell upon her paws, her eye lids growing heavy into the darkness of endless dreams.

The silver Lycan approached the Tunnels quietly, as he had every other time he had returned from the hunt, satisfied with his kill. In his mouth laid the hind leg of his prey, a strong stag from the local herd of deer. The rest of its body dragged along behind Xavier and a small, thin trail of blood marked the snow. Xavier's kill had been relatively clean, but he couldn't help the small wound that he had created in the beast's neck with his claws. The neck wound alone didn't kill the beast, but Xavier's incredible strength had snapped the beast's neck mere moments later.
As Xavier arrived at the Tunnel entrance, he dropped the stag and went back a few hundred yards, wiping away the trail of blood with fresh snow as he went. Then he returned to the Tunnels and smelled the scent of another Lycan inside.
So...she's back. thought the orange-eyed Lycan.
Xavier then picked up his kill again and dragged the prey into the main room, then dropped it in front of Morgana and lowered his body also, bowing down at his front legs as a sign of respect.
It's good to see you again, Morgana. It has been some time since you last came by. How is everything?

Her eyes opened at the familiar scent of crimson blood, the sweet blood that had once passed her lips. She looked up to see a lycan approaching, cautiously, she raised her head up. A smile passed her lips...it was noone other than Xavier. He bowed before her in respect and she nodded her head in approval.
You do not need to be so formal to me She said simply. We afterall, are friends who have been through quite an ordeal.
It is a pleasure to see you once more. Before answering his question she added, Please make yourself comfortable.
She sighed softly....it had been so long since she had been home. The familiar scents roamed the territory, her nose danced in recognition. The fire burned, the flames crackling as the wood began to diminish for view.
I have been well, my friend. And how about you? How are you?

Xavier nodded affirmatively and smiled. Yes, Morgana. Indeed we have. I still feel the pain of that dreadful night, and the blood of our pups still stains our old common room.
(OOC: Just so you all know, Xavier closed off the room where the vampires killed the pups so that no one would ever have to relive the event again. Since then, a new common room has been built, even though a thread has not been created to signify it.)
BIC:
Even though she was the Alpha of the clan, she didn't bother with some of the formalities of the position. Xavier picked up the carcass and carried it a bit closer to the fire, more towards the center of the room.
And indeed, I share that same pleasure. Many events have happened of late that I believe you might have heard about, such as the Lycan Mikayla whom I attempted to bring into the pack, and also of the new Sealla on the grounds.
Xavier laid down next to the stag and tore off one of the animal's hind legs. Xavier placed his paws on top of the leg and tore at the juicy flesh ravenously. He was very hungry. It had been days since his last meal.
[Me? I've been...ok. I guess I've been okay. I'm not really sure anymore. Everything has changed so quickly from when I first joined the pack. Many an elder Lycan has gone on and many events have changed my way of thinking. I may not remain here much longer if I cannot find something to inspire me to stay. My granddaughters are growing up fast and becoming strong young Lycans. They will do well protecting the Tunnels. I just worry that without me, humans may not leave here with their lives if they were to accidentally stumble in here. I protected them if they were kind to us. I fear no one will fill that position once I leave. Not every human is evil, you know.[/i]
Xavier ripped off another chunk of meat and chewed as he continued.
I need to find something that can convince me that there is more to this life than what there is now. I haven't ventured outside of the grounds in quite some time, and I know that there is a whole world out there for me. I fear that if I wait too long, I'll miss it. That's why I think I need to go.
