It was almost as dark as her coat, the tunnel. Of course, with her height, Lothani had to bend her front and back legs quite a bit to fit. Bits of dust and rock fell unnoticed by Lothani as she scraped her back slightly a few times on the roof. After a few minutes of turning around bends and dropping lower to fit through the tunnel, the Rapah’s head lifted at the mouth, her keen eyes reflecting the dim light with an inverted glow in the iris. After a few silent sniffs to the ground and deeming it safe, those dinner-plate paws dropped to the ground with a ‘thud’ as their call. Slowly, her paws lead her gracefully forward towards the ablaze wood.
It would be strange, meeting with a pack of Lycans. Nonetheless, she was interested in such creatures. Lothani had met her fare share of Lycans over the centuries, and battled with them too. But she’d heard enough about this pack to slightly understand how they would respond to her. Hopefully she was right. For their sake.
Being a huge cat of about 6 feet to the shoulder, it didn’t really matter what opponent she came across. Intimidation usually sealed the deal. That midnight tail behind her tapped the ground gently in anticipation.

Rogue was settled in the deeper curves of the tunnels, away from the fire and closer to the dark. She had her chin resting on her hands as she lay naked, sprawled along the earthy ground with her stomach to it's surface. Her lilac eyes were closed and her silvery-white hair messed itself casually around her small shoulders.
Playing thoughts over in her head, it took her a while to realise the unusual scent that floated before her nose. She frowned, moving her arms either side of herself to push herself up onto her knees. Within moments, protected from veiw by the charred darkness she'd slid into her wolven form.
As a snow-white she-wolf she stood on all fours, her acute hearing immedaitely picking up the thud of something huge in the tunnels. Adrenaline pulsed through her veins for a moment as her glowing eyes flickered open nervously. There was something big in the tunnels, a lot larger than her fragile frame, even in her wolven form.
Tempting fate, and giving in to curiosity she padded silently through the many twists and turns of the tunnels, finally reaching the main abode. What she saw stopped her in her tracks and she felt the adrenaline wear off and fear take it's place. A huge black cat sat quite contently infront of the fire, her lengthy tail tapping the ground like one would tap their fingers, waiting.
C-Can I help you? Came Rogue's soft, timid voice. She watched the massive, magnifiscent creature through large lilac eyes, the silver dappled through her irises sparkled with uncertainty. What was this creature doing in the tunnels? Did she come seeking friend or foe? or food...
Rogue's bushy tail sweeped the ground behind her, her paws were placed delicately infront of each other as she held her steady gaze with the cat.

A new scent drifted up her black button-like nose. A scent of… something… riddled with fear. A content smile curved the cat’s muzzle as the wolf approached her. It was the exact opposite to Lothani. Small (in comparison), white and a wolf. She reeked of uncertainty, and a slight bit of panic, and the smell grew stronger as she closed the gap between the two. Her deep brown eyes held no emotion towards the Lycan, only interest.
“C-Can I help you?” came the gentle question of the frightened Lycan. It flowed through the Rapah’s curved ears like silken music through the centuries.
The black cat lay on her side, in a very relaxed way might I add, with her head alert and ears perked, listening intently to every breath from the wolf before her. The cat’s mouth opened to speak her reply, her tongue asserting an old Irish accent. “That all depends, silver wolf. Are you a pack Lycan? I assume you are, considering you reside here.”
you would be not so close as to guess that, Rogue is a Rogue who simply stays here most of the time, she does nto belong to the pack, she is simply wlecome here anytime she wishes.' came the words out of the shadows of the tunnels as Arsenis appeared in his black wolven form 'I am of this pack, but if you wish to speak to the elder of this pack you will need to meet with Morgana.' his words were not harsh or cruel they simply where. his nodded his head slightly to Rogue but did not really make eye contact.

Rogue's expression shifted from an inquisitively shy look to that of pride and grace. She sat back on her haunches as Arsenic answered for her, putting her forepaws next to each other in an exact posture. A loud sizzle caught her attention in the fire for a moment, making her jump on the inside, but her gaze returned to the cat at a leisurely pace soon afterwards.
She watched the cat roll onto her side, for some unknown reason this made Rogue narrow her eyes. The cat seemed to deem this her territory just as much as the lycans, but why did that bother Rogue so?
What do you wish to know, and what may we call you? Rogue said through telepathy, this time without emotion. If the cat was to know her name, she would know the cat's. If the creature did not give her name in respect, Rogue would not give respect in her name.
Tipping her nose to the roof of the tunnels at Arsenic, Rogue acknowledged him, catching the way his metallic eyes avoided her. She frowned inwardly and returned her gaze to the large cat that lay sprawled across the tunnels main abode, awaiting an answer.

Another scent filled the room. A male this time, with the same colour coat as Lothani. She listened to the black wolf, taking in every word he uttered. So the white wolf didn’t live as a pack member. How strange the Rapah thought to herself. I would have assumed that all Lycans are extremely territorial.
He basically answered her next question. Basically. “So her name, the Lycan you speak for, is Rogue?” her tongue spelt out, covered in a syrup of an Irish tone. The black Lycan slipped up there, Rogue obveously didn’t want her name known untill Lothani told her own. She chuckled in her mind. He would be younger than Rogue. This she could tell easily. His words continued to flow, answering her original question. Lothani’s eyes switched from the black wolf to the white numerous times, intently watching and listening to both. When she spoke, she spoke to the both of them, not individually. Not willing to pose as a threat, but also wishing to see them as equals, the giant black cat pushed herself up with her forepaws, sitting now on her hind legs, her snake-like tail swaying side to side, slowly. She towered over the two, but not seeing them any lower than she.
Both the Lycans seemed to only communicate telepathically. Maybe that was the only way they could in their true form. This, however, wasn’t the case for Lothani. But before she was to reply, her quick eyes noticed the agitation between the male and female. His eyes avoided hers. Her slight irritance with the male. Maybe something had happened between the two.
She let it go, like water off a duck’s back. “You may call me Lothani,” came her first reply to Rogue’s question. “Due to the male’s slip, I take it you’re Rogue?” But Rogue didn’t need to answer. Her words spoke to both of them. “I come seeking a social time. I wish to meet the Tunnel Lycans. Over my journeys, I have met the legendary Valkeries and Demons, and I would wish to meet with other such creatures, such as your rival pack, and the Vampiric sort. I am new to these lands, despite how long I have been in this world.”
Rogue nodded at the use of her name in the cat's assumptioned reply. The she-wolf carefully crawled her forepaws forward, lowering her belly to rest on the dusty ground just as the cat rose to her own forepaws. This made Rogue seem smaller again and the cat larger, but this time Rogue didn't feel intimidated. The creature was indeed very large, but she also held respect for lycans, therefore Rogue was less hostile towards her.
Arsenic remained in the shadows, the same shade as the beautiful pantherlike creature before Rogue. The she-wolf revelled in her own shade of grace, the colour of the frosty flakes that fall from the sky in winter, the colour of silk on a traditional brides gown and the colour of the moon when all else around is blanketed in darkness. Yes, she too was beautiful.
Listening to the rapah's words with keen ears Rogue was most surprised to hear her refer to the lycans of the forest as the rival pack. So she knew about the war then. They are not my rivals, but yes, the majority in these tunnels would think so... Rogue put forward, insisting Lothani knew her opinion on the subject.
And what about us is it you wish to know, Lothani? Rogue asked softly, her eyes coming into lock with the deep eyes of the rapah. The she-wolf genuinely wished to know this, and again she would wait patiently for an answer.

Lothani.....interesting name. It is rather rude to come into this place uninvited and....
Kage's telepathic voice took on a more sarcastic tone,
....make yourself at home
Kage emerged from the shadows at the side of the room, as if suddenly emerging from nowhere, which, in fact, he had. He was large, easily as large as the cat who now lay lazily upon the ground, and his coat was a glossy black. His glowing gold eyes stared down at Lothani bemusedly as he continued,
Although I admit it is rather bold for you to simply wander in here and expect to leave unscathed, or alive, for that matter.

(ooc: Lycans don’t get to be 6 feet to the shoulder, Kage)
Her gold tainted eyes switched from Rogue, to a rather pompous Lycan. Another black one. This time, he was a little bigger. But not as large as she. But before she spoke to the newest Lycan to the little group, she replied softly to the white one. “I do not really wish to know anything. Although I would like to meet this pack, as friend or foe.” The last few words were ushered to the larger Lycan.
She could tell she wasn’t welcome by him. Maybe it was the aura he gave off. Or maybe it was his words.
“Although it is not my place to threaten you, Lycan, I will do so.” This wolf was obveously young too. Not long a Lycan, nor human. “Unlike you, I have hundreds of years under my belt. So it is highly unlikely you would be able to destroy me.” Her voice was nonetheless sweet and soft as it was towards Rogue. If she had to, she would defend herself easily. But if not, there was no point in fighting.

A deep growl erupted from within the cat’s throat towards the black wolf. He seemed to want to take her on and see who would win. If he wanted it, maybe she would deliver it. Her brown eyes glared deeply towards him. “You want a fight?” she questioned. “Do you really want to take on a demon?” again, she questioned.
It didn’t matter either way. If he did fight her, he’d be badly injured. If not, well then there was peace. For the moment anyway.

Kage issued a soft, mental laugh at that.
A demon hairball, eh? Heh, it is only fit to be facing a demon Lycan.

Silently, she shook her head. What was with males always being smart-asses these days?
“You didn’t end up answering my question,” she growled. “Besides, you aren’t pure-blood demon. Look at how your form has been tainted.” Lothani mocked.

A wolfish snicker issued from Kage as he calmly sat on his haunches, watching Lothani.
I believe its obvious that I would be more than happy to kill you. And as for my form, it appears you're the only one who gives a s***e.

That was it. She’d had enough. Obveously she wasn’t welcome any longer. Let alone in the first place. Maybe she was better off with the Forest Lycans. Pushing her rear up, standing, she nodded to Rogue, “It was a pleasure meeting you, Rogue. I hope to meet with you again some other time.” She said kindly, also nodding to the other silent black wolf
Turning her back on the arrogant wolf, she padded her large form towards the mouth of the tunnel out. Stopping, she spoke up, “You aren’t worth my time. It isn’t my rightful place to fight you in your home. Find me later… if you can.”
And like the night’s shadows, she was gone.
