The great doors of the entrance hall creaked open a small ways, only far enough for a single figure to shuffle quickly inside. A flash of lightning in the storm outside lit up the grounds, showing for a brief moment the utter misery of the downpour that thoroughly soaked everything- and everyone unfortunate enough to be caught out in it.
The doors slamming shut once again after Azrael had entered, he pushed his glasses back into place. They had slid down his nose partially sometime recently, accompanying the great deal of water now running off of him and pooling around his feet where he stood.
Shaking himself off slightly, sending a small shower of fine droplets of water from himself as his hand found its way into his pocket, pulling forth his wand. He smacked his hand against his wand several times while muttering softly to himself. His wand came to life several moments later as a small ball of flame sputtered to life at the tip of his wand, causing a soft hissing sound as the water still on it instantly evaporated.
Using this small bit of fire to help warm himself and slowly dry himself off, he moved to an out of the way corner of the room, leaving a trail of muddy footprints behind him.

Kiara had happened by, she was walking along the hall when she heard someone enter.
“Imagine the sight they must be.” She said to herself and then abruptly changed her course, form the Slytherin common room to the entrance, she walked now, until she came upon the visitor, and what a sight he was.
She looked at the floor, his trail of passage and then looked at him. “My, my, what a mess you have become. A bit wet outside, you think?” She greeted him, not pretending tonight, to be anything other than who she was. “Hello, and welcome to Magic Horizon’s. I’m Kiara, Kiara Malfoy, a pleasure I’m sure.” She said then, not bothering to hold her hand out and play at nice, just simple politeness would suffice tonight.

[glow=purple,2,300]Dovie'd been wandering the halls as of late, not really taking time to be much around others except a solitary person here or there, and had wandered right into the main foyer. Sure, it was a crowded place for someone who wanted to be left alone, but she could just as easily blend into the background and stay solitary here instead of sticking out like a sore thumb while she was alone. It was, of course, raining like it would when she wasn't in the best of moods, and she started to feel terribly about it when she saw a boy come in drenched from head to toe. She groaned slightly, feeling awful at having caused such a mess, and stood to walk over and apologize in her own way. Another girl evidently had a similar idea of meeting the boy and made it there before Dovie did, but she continued over anyway. Her black baggy pants and long, knee-length black hair swayed gently as she moved closer. She'd felt like going semi-punk/goth today, and was wearing several black leather wristbands, one a happy bunny watch, along with multiple rings and bangles. She donned a sleeping GIR pin on her royal blue zip top, and several different band patches (e.g. Linkin Park, Sex Pistols, KoRn, System of a Down, etc.) were sewn onto the legs and pockets of her pants. She slowly, but surely, reached the boy and sat down at the end of the bench, a slight frown on her face. "Sorry, didn't mean for anyone to get soaked out there." Dovie tilted her head towards the door, her green eyes staying on the boy for a moment before moving to scan the floor. "I'm really sorry.." She faced the boy, raised her wand, and muttered the drying spell, making sure he was completely dry before pocketing her wand. "Don't want you catching cold on top of being oaked to the bone already..." She clenched her hands, a slightly nervous habit, and decided it was best to introduce herself instead of the boy simply knowing her as 'That girl that made it rain on me' "I-I'm Dovie, D-Dovie Bell... What's your name...?" she waited for a response from either of the two.[/glow]

The doors flew upon once more, allowing the wind to chill the hall. Seconds after it flew shut again, seemingly having opened on it's own.
On the marble floor was a small faery, little over three inches tall. Struggling with the weight of her wet clothes, tattered pink wings sliced through the air, pumping powerfully to lift her up off the floor. Shaking out her pink locks, she sent water spraying in every direction.
Glancing around she saw another wet student accompanied by two girls. Flying over, she was going to introduce herself when she heard the second gil's words. Apparently she'd been the cause of the little down pour.
Putting on a smile, she fixed the trio with a honey-coloured gaze. Dipping into a quick curtsy she said "Hello.. Quite a storm, eh."

[glow=purple,2,300]Dovie turned to see a tiny pink orb floating in front of the small group and couldn't help but let a lugh slip at the light's comment. "Yah...I'm really sorry about that.." Dovie pointed her wand at the light, one eye squinted closed for aim, and spoke the drying spell again. She gave a small bow to the faerie and sat back up. "Dovie, and sorry about that. Eheh ^^; What's your name, if...it's alright for me to ask, that is.."[/glow]

Before the faerie could answer, Azrael cut in instead, giving his wand a small flick to extinguish the small fire he had conjured, "Azrael," he said simply, noding to each girl in turn, "Kiara, Dovie......" His eyes lingered for a few moments extra on the fairy, however, not sure what to adress this one as.
"I hate rain," he said finally, done with his inspection of his welcome wagon, "Although why is it you claim the rain to be your own fault?" he asked, turning to Dovie, his hand silently slipping his wand back into the pocket he had taken it from.

Kiara looked at the other two arrivals, and listened to the rather uninteresting account of the one known as Dovie. Her fault for the rain indeed.
“Azrael…” She let his name roll over her tongue and then inclined her head to him. “Well, it would seem, that you might be in need of some dry clothes and a place to put your things, what house are you in.” She asked, wasting no time in the formalities and niceties that perhaps the other two would give him.
Kiara was not in a particularly good mood tonight, and so, was not really all too happy of the size of this gathering about her, particularly the magical being, as for one reason or another, she just seemed to bother her tonight. Not a usual thing for Kiara, but this evening, maybe it was the weather, she just didn’t want to be around a crowd, and it looked as though, since she had introduced herself first and would be rude to just simply leave, she’d have to endure it for at least a little longer.

Billie strolled through the entrance hall, simply milling around the students and enjoying the sounds of the storm outside. She loved it when the weather got like this, with the rain and lightning. It seemed to reflect the turmoil inside, as corny as that sounded. Billie had temporarily abandoned her normal black attire for something a little less severe. Tan corduroy pants that fit her form nicely, underneath a long white tunic shirt, falling to about mid thigh, then covered with a navy blue, knit sweater. Her long black hair was pulled up in a messy ponytail at the back of her head.
As she strolled through the room, a growing group caught her eye. Turning to get a better look, she noticed a new arrival, a boy, surrounded by two girls, one who was Dovie, and a fairy. The boy..... there was something about him. He seemed familiar to Billie somehow, though Billie could not remember when or where she had seen this figure before. Still, there was just something that drew Billie toward him. Rather than ignoring the group and walking away, as she might have done, Billie detoured over to the group. When she reached them, she gave a gracious bow to all four figures. As she straightened, she spoke to the boy first.
"Hello there. You must be new. Welcome to Magic Horizons, though you may have been welcomed already," she said as she grinned softly at him. Her smile directed itself then to Dovie, thought it was rather melancholy. "Hey Dovie, how are you?"
Turning, she adressed the two she did not know. "Hello there, I don't believe I know you...?"
ooc: Sorry, that was a rather akward post. It is past one a.m. and I am still working on my English paper.....

"Carmella, Carmy for short" she stated, and no sooner were the words out of her mouth then a girl came over bowing rather formally to them. Restating her name, she gave them all a friendly smile.
Instead of saying anything else, she opted for studying them all. Fingering a curl, she noticed Kiara's slightly irritated 'air' and raised a brow. Moving her gaze from her to the girl who had bowed, she felt rather than saw something familiar about her. Something in her energy waves, in her scent, in everything reminded her of the dark haired girl from the lake.
Evil witch. the thought ran through her mind quickly, causing her to narrow her eyes slightly as she continued to gaze at Billie. But this girl seemed nice, so why was it she brought that other witch to mind? Shaking her hand almost inperceptibly, she crossed her arms over her stomach feeling a small frown forming on her lips and clouding her eyes.

Billie returned the smile to Carmella, but did not miss the expression on the faerie's face. It was one of.... recognition, as if Carmella could sense Billie's alliance. Well, perhaps she could, but it didn't matter. Billie could act the way she chose, when she wanted to. She was lucky enough to be able to still do this.
Billie shrugged the matter off and returned the smile to her face, turning her attention back to the boy.

[glow=purple,2,300]Dovie's semi-cheerful mood faultered when she saw Billie. She immediately insitinctively backed away, not wanting to get shocked again, and shuddered (though not very visibly). She opened and closed her mouth several times, but ended up simply nodding at the girl, her usually happy mouth set into a rather morbid thin line. She gave a very small, nearly inaudible sigh and nodded again at Billie, indicating she was up for talking later, and stod there a bit dejectedly, wriggling her toes in her mocassins.[/glow]

~ Jade was walking through the entrance hall with a rather large pile of books balancing precariously in her arms. She heard the noises of a group of people, and was in the process of shifting the books, so as to see who it was, when she slipped on a patch of water. Her tall, slender frame went flew a few feet and her books went flying. She fell hard. She groaned and stood up, brushing herself off. She smiled tinily to the group and tittered nervously. "Oops." She said, and retrieved her books. She dried off one unfortunate enough to have landed in a puddle, and addressed the group. "Uh...Hi. I'm Jade." She said, with a small, awkward smile. She tilted her head slightly, so as to move her light brown, slightly gold, and slightly red hair out of the way. Her green eyes shimmered with cheerfulness as they drifted over each figure. She pondered over the black-haired girl, and the sense of danger she exuberated.~ (OOC: Sorry for being late to the RP, is it still ok if I join?)
