Lars as shy as he was, could not act normal amongst the big crowd of people. For him people, goblins, or anything else is scary. “Ummm excuse me,” Lars had to keep saying while he bumped into person after person. As he got to a tall dark figure wearing a light jacket with, black jeans, a funny top hat, and a pair of old boots he asked timidly “Do you know the where the is Flourish and Blotts?” After waiting a minute in almost complete silence he began to walk again.
As he looked at every sign, banner, and almost anything with writing on it he finally came to a big sign that said “Flourish and Blotts”. He quickly ran in, and complete excitement stunned him for a minute. Lars' love of books was second to none. “Hello can anyone help me find some spell books? I need a couple charms books,” he said wondering where the shopkeeper is. Lars was new so he didn’t know a lot of spells, but he figured out he screwed up even the easiest charms. “I have three gold galleons, four silver sickles, and two bronze knuts,” he said trying to get someone to pop out.
“Can anyone help me?” he asked a little louder one last time.

"I'd advise just looking around yourself.Haven't seen much of a shopkeeper today." A girl said from behind him.Walking around him she held out a hand "I'm Lita, and you are?" She carried two potions books under her arm and an eagle on her shoulder. Her redish-brown hair was done in two braids and had white feathers tied to them, she wore brown shorts and a beige top with brown sandals. Her soft brown eyes were flecked with gold and silver,as was that of her eagle's.But while her gaze was friendly, her eagle's was calculating and cautious.

"Hi, I’m Lars Claybourne," he said timidly, while shaking hands. “I have been trying to find a charms book,” he said as he saw a couple on the bookcase behind Lita. “I am kind of new to the money around here, so I don’t know how to make change and how much knuts it takes to make a full galleon. Can you help me?” he managed to say in one breath.
He grabbed one of the books that he saw while talking to Lita. “Charms for Beginners” was the first book he saw, and also the book he was going to buy. Lars in his tan brown sweater, weird puke green pants, stylish shoes from one of the most popular muggle shoe store, shaggy brown hair, and pale skin did not look like a geek too much, but he knew he was. After being picked on from muggle schools he learned how to handle it.
As he saw the shopkeeper by the register he approached him. After paying the shopkeeper two bronze knuts he asked Lita on more question “Is there going to be a bus or something that will pick us up?” he asked nervously.

"A pleasure" she said. Then watched him pay for his book.As he asked the last question she smiled "We could take the Knight bus,but I think you'd prefer the port key." Motioning for him to follow she walked out of the shop and into the bright sunlight.Breathing in deeply she began to walk towards a small grass clearing past the shops. "Just curious but have you ever used a port key?" she asked him,as she watched her eagle fly off towards MH.

He followed her step by step in the bright sunlight of the late afternoon. A brisk breeze blew every now and then that made Lars shiver. Walking past the shops to the grass clearing near the port key wasn’t very hard for him, but the hardest part was going through the crowd that was everywhere this time of day, port keys, shops, and the banks was almost too crowded.
“I barely know anything about the port key. I was born into a muggle family, so it was hard for them, but mostly me. I did not know anything about magic horizons until I came here. The religion that I am in pretty much states that magic is evil. It was hard to talk them into letting me go here, I had to beg,” Lars stated as they drew closer to the port key. “Are we close now?” he asked as another breeze blew upon them.

"Yes,there it is over there" she answered pointing at a rubber tire thrown on the ground.Walking over she picked it up,they had two minutes left if she wasn't mistaken. "Does anyone else need to go back to MH now?" she asked the people wandering around. Two girls and another boy came over, grabbing ahold of the tire as well. "Well, come on grab it,it wont bite." she said teasingly to Lars.

Lars was relief when they were in sight of the port key, because it was getting chilly out there and his legs began to ache. The wind was getting worse by the second. Lars was confused when he saw just a rubber tire. “Wow, just a rubber tire can get us all they way back to magic horizons,” he said amazed. Lars held his book tightly so the wind would not take it away.
“Two minutes until what” he asked as he bumped into someone by accident. Looking around he saw two more girls and a boy coming over to them. Lars took one huge breath and grabbed the tire.
“What happened?” Lars asked. “How can we be here already?” he asked very curiously. Millions of things came popping into his head like how can this be and where exactly are they and lots more. Now he truly believes in magic.

Lita was about to say two minutes 'til we leave when she felt the familiar tug of the port key.It felt like they had been falling for hours, but mere minutes later the small group landed in a patch of grass with a soft thudding of feet meeting ground. "The port key sort of pulled us in." she tried to explained "We are close to the castle gates, just a few minutes walk." He was standing there dumbstruck with a look of awe on his face that was quite hilarious, she barely managed to contain her laughter. She grabbed his hand and began pulling him towards the path that led to the gates.

Lars dropped his book from his confusion and sacredness. After containing his poster he took a deep breath. “This is not for the weak hearted,” Lars said jokingly. “Pulled us in, how? I would be crazy to say that I don’t believe in magic after all of this,” Lars commented picking up his book that he dropped from the ground.
“Good, my feet can’t really take me any further,” he said jokingly again. Lars could not, but just sit there dumbfounded from all that happened. “Whoa,” Lars said as he is being pulled to the gate. “I can walk you know,” he said trying to take his arm back from her grasped.
