"Cheers, Stan!" Hayzie called back near enough cheerfully as she stepped off the Knight Bus. Early that morning, the blonde girl had left the forest in order to spend a day in Diagon Ally, hopefully purchasing a new wand somewhere along the way.
As she walked down the cobbled streets of the town, hidden behind the Leaky Cauldron in London, Hayz watched everyone go to and fro on their daily business, chuckling as two small children tested out their new Zonko's presents.
She had to stop however as she reached 'Quality Quidditch Supplies'. Even though she highly doubted her place on the Gryffindor team after her sudden disappearance as of late, a new broom in there caught her eye, already being gazed at by other shoppers in Diagon Ally that day.
Tearing herself away from the shop, Hayzie carried on with her walk to Ollivander's. She remembered only too well the day she had received her first wand. "Birch and Unicorn Hair, very good for Charm work," Mr. Ollivander had told her. This had proved time and time again to be true as Hayz had used to go around the school randomly changing people's hair colour or turning the Great Hall into an Ice Kingdom with Adhara.
Shaking her head, the lycan girl stepped into Ollivander's gazing around her in awe as she had the first time she'd arrived.
"Ah, Miss Roberts is it?" the bespectacled man asked, a smile on his face as always. Immediately, he went towards the back of the store, taking out a fairly small box. "Birch and Unicorn Hair… it seems you were last here only yesterday. What happened to your first wand?" he asked, curiosity taking over his face.
Laughing, Hayz could only reply with: "Let’s just say it snapped during an adventure." Although there was a smile on her face, glints of slight fear and anger could be seen in her eyes. Not that she was about to let anyone know she felt that way.
Nodding, Mr. Ollivander wrapped up the wand and put it in a bag.
After a short conversation, Hayzie stepped back out into the street and was forced to shield her eyes against the June sun. Looking around, she decided she'd head across to the ice cream parlour before going to shop any more.
